You're a lifesaver, sir
Crack Zone Guru your given link is not working ... unsuccessful to download ... provide me sir
NEW LINK IS FAILED ALSO.
It says it failed to put the drivers on after "disgarding changes and unmounting wim.boot." What do I do?
I'm trying to install it straight from the windows 7 disk and run into this error.
Thank you! This is absolutely rare thing to find a RUclips video that actually solves the problem. Many thanks and I gave you I like as well!
Still helpful 4 years later. Thanks man.
Ive seen this a few times over the years, I knew there was a work around for it. So I knew to just hop on and look before burning hours of time and patients lol
Definitely sticking that little app in my utilities folder for future incidents.
still helpfull 6 years later 😊
you're a great teacher, love the simplicity, with details! subbed!
DUDE. I'm not joking. GOD BLESS YOU. You have no idea for how long I've been looking for a solution on this problem... Thanks a lot. You deserve a Statue, a street, an avenue, even a city with your name. Thanks a lot again.
Bless you too Ness!, good to know it helped you out and thanks for the feedback
Ness HD yes sir he really does
Ow yeah
😆😆 yes dear he deserves
I love you. Been working on this for hours. A lot of time spent trying to modify the Boot.Wim and Install.wim files using DSIM GUI utility. Wasn't working well and a bit of manual work. However I was watching the Gigbyte utility and noticed that it was doing the same thing on its own! So this is an automated SDIM GUI. Beautiful.
Good to know it helped you out Louis, and thanks for the feedback
Same here, was trying to do it manually, was a bit hard, when i saw this running, i thought, great, it's doing it automatically, and it worked! Thanks a bunch brother!!!
Yes, I down load the download Gigabyte's Windows 7 USB Installation Tool and install it driver and it work, thanks.
Same, @EasyTechs I had wasted half a day just to figure out stuff myself, this solved my problem with 30 mins, thank you for helping me downgrading from win10 to win7!
I know this video is 4 years old now, but man, THANK. YOU. All other solutions were useless. I can't wait for the next session!
Excellent video m8! Clean, concise, to the point, and no meandering.
Subbed right away..

@@EasyTechs here i am typing from the fixed pc, your welcome haha
You're the best! First solution that worked after 2 days spent on searching. Thanks sir!
Thanks for the feedback Giovanni
This worked like a charm on my Lenovo T460. Thanks!
EXCELLENT!! Finally a tutorial that actually solves the issue. Thank you. note: if you do this, be sure to have a copy of the drivers in the laptop´s HD on some partition, since once you finish installing windows 7 your usb will not work until you install the proprer drivers so you wont be able to use an usb device to install the drivers
Good to know it helped you out, thanks for the feedback
Oh no
Thank you very much for this. 5 years later and it absolutely worked for me after hours of trying all kinds of things.
Thank you so much! You are my saving grace tonight! I've been at this for hours researching etc. This worked! Thanks a bunch!
Good to know it helped you out, thanks for the feedback
hi did it worked using windows image tool? mine still pop "drivers not found"
Because you did not follow steps carefully
Thank You guys, U've saved me. I allready lost so much time and nervs with this one.
Another confirmed success. RUclips is full of useless videos which only waste everyone's time but your video is a rare exception. No time waste and most importantly your information is working. There should be more of these.
This was very helpful and easy to follow. Good Job! The best I found on this topic. Thanks for sharing.
Good to know it helped you out, thanks for the feedback
Thanks a lot man!!
I would press the Love button if i could
2022 and this still saving a lot of users like me, THANK YOU
Change the USB port did it for me this time. Great save timer, I was about to start integrate driver into install wim.
For anyone who might be having issues with this solution:
I had this issue and in the end it turned out that it was due to the USB 3.0 Port. I was using an External USB HDD on the USB 3.0 port for installing Win7, so the utility tool didn't recognize it. Using the USB 2.0 Port solve the issue without having to do anything else.
thanks this worked for me
Thanks broo
ty very muuuuch
And how to switch
Switching to 2.0 worked for me also. Many thanks
You saved me! Many thanks brother! Hit me up if you ever come to Belgrade, Serbia! I will buy you a beer! Cheers!

Desde Colombia, muchas gracias. Estuve buscando en muchas páginas y después de 5 días de búsqueda, no conseguía una solución efectiva. Hoy logré instalar Windows 7 en un HP 455 que me sacaba ese error gracias a esta guía. Efectivo.

Thank you so much! man, 10 hours been spent, then i got your tutorial video. Gbu
Hi, THANKS SO MUCH for the clear and quick tutorial, I was having trouble loading a USB version of Win 7 Pro 64-bit on a Dell Optiplex 3040 Micro, and this allowed me to install it. For the benefit of those with the same computer, I used the following version of the driver: B16.1102.1 Dated November 2, 2016. (I am a diehard Windows 7 Pro guy and still run Win7P on all my computers, even here in 2023... still the BOSE (Best Operating System Ever) imho...
crossing my fingers, I really hope the first solution works.
UPDATE: It worked like magic! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Easy Tech - thanks for such an informative and patient video.
I too had the issue where I was getting the "cd/DVD driver error."
I'm trying to re-install windows 7 on my HP Elite X2. It only has one usb port.
Before I had the issue with the CD/DVD drivers missing...this is what I did up to that point in case you see any issues here.
I started the whole process by going to microsoft and downloading the Windows 7 Iso file with my product key from my box. That downloaded and then I downloaded the windows USB/DVD download tool. Used that to put the ISO files on my thumb drive. Then I changed the boot menu to only boot from the thumb drive. Still had issues and wasn't booting from the drive, so I saw a video where you enable "LEGACY SUPPORT" in the diagnostics tab, and it now allowed it. That is when I started installing windows until I got to the DVD/CD Driver errors message.
I then followed the steps in your video and was excited to reinstall. I got the utility from gigabyte. Followed those steps with my usb drive. Installed the thumb drive back into this laptop. Started to boot again with windows....However rather than getting the screenshot you get, I get an "install windows" error message: "Windows cannot open the required file D:\Sources\install.wim. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code 0x8007000D."
Not quite sure what to do now...and I don't have any credible experience with any of this. So any help from here would be great. From anyone. Thanks in advance. (I included everything I did previously only because if for some reason it was wrong.)
Error: what to do with this error?: "failed to add drivers to an offline windows image"
it appeared after running the windows installation tool.
Same error for me too
@@NandDigital same

Ok, good luck:)
It's just a perfect solution, i downloaded both amd and intel drivers in the usb drive just in case and it just worked perfect. Each installation of the drivers took me 45 mins but it's worth it.
Really thank you very much.
Thank you, i was trying to format my pc using a sd card with usb adapter and this video helped me
Good to know it helped you out, thanks so much for the feedback!
When Windows is asking for driver, just click Cancel. You will be brought back to the install screen. At the install screen, remove your USB drive, insert it back to DIFFERENT USB PORT. Click Install Now again. The installation process will be like usual

For those looking for a solution to the Gigabyte tool failing while trying to install Win7 on a Ryzen machine, this worked for me:
Open the location containing the Gigabyte USB tool. Right click on each file and select "Properties", then click "Unblock". You have to open each folder and do EVERY file! Takes about 30 minutes and then the tool works. It took me a month to find this info in a blog post. Hopefully this will save someone what I went through. And by the way, Gigabyte e-support is useless! Their reply to my ticket saying the tool fails ( I included a screenshot showing that), was that the tool works. Pityful!
My System info:
Mobo: Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI
Video Card: AORUS Radeon RX580 8G
Chip: Ryzen5 2600
OS: Win 7 64-bit SP 1 DVD
Ram: 16gb Corsair CMK16GX4M2B
HD: 500gb Samsung EVO SSD
