I watch a lot of digital art videos to try and study/analyze what the artist is doing. I bought a new drawing tablet, downloaded Sketchbook Pro to learn how to use it because I don't want to pay for Photoshop, and your video not only taught me about Sketchbook but SO MUCH about digital art too! I finally feel like I can do this. Thank you!

It seems a woman came up to him and asked him to sketch something on a piece of paper.
He sketched it, and gave it back to her saying: “That will cost you $10,000”.
She was astounded. “You took just five minutes to do the sketch,” she said. Isn't $10,000 a lot for five minutes work?
“The sketch may have taken me five minutes, but the learning took me 30 years,” Picasso retorted.

I started using Autodesk Sketchbook 2 years ago.
Last year, My iMac died after it got a heatstroke during a 42°C summer...
Then I got a new PC. My first Windows pc. I had my Wacom Intuos Pro L before I got Autodesk Sketchbook.
Here I am, now... using Krita... And I still come back to this video sometimes...
AND I STILL THINK THAT I WILL NEVER ACHIEVE THIS LEVEL OF ART MASTERY

If you ever work in oils or acrylics, a great tip I remember is to use one common paint color when mixing colors. This really brought the entire work together as one cohesive piece. When I pick my colors, I do the same thing today, imagining a little burnt sienna or ocher in my greens, blues, or whichever color I make. In Photoshop, I'll even add a color layer on top. Sometimes it's a gradient to give the impression of depth. The greens dominate in this piece, and take away from the focal. I'd like to see the greens muted a let the figure in the center stand out. The composition is great, but the colors fight it.

Также я сделала вывод - если что-то не получается, просто отзеркаль и прорисуй 😂👌. А в целом, никогда не понимала, как нужно изменять эффекты и всякое такое, поэтому каждый раз рисую только теми инструментами, которые даны на панели.

There is a perspective grid which also lets you create straight lines which go to your vanishing point

Could you add a link or a comment as to what brushes you used? I tried pausing the video to see... but it goes by rather quickly. I believe it was watercolor... but I am not sure... thank you!

what kind of brushes did you use and where did you download them?

_There are some brush packs for easier use, but for me, the Smudge and Blur are a combo for shading and color blending._
_(And there are a lot to experiement on. But I wanted to try the Touch because I use Intuos Draw, since this needs a touch screen.)_

The brushes for the program I believe are only available on the desktop Application. I can research further for you to check. The set I downloaded was free from the Autodesk website! www.sketchbook.com/blog/category/free-brush-sets/
