Thanks for the sub! Spotting armbars comes with practice and experience. I would suggest start by working with the classic armbar setups: from closed guard, from side control, from mount etc and once you get a great understanding on how to execute and catch them, then you can work your way into more creative setups! One trick I can think about is everytime you can isolate an arm, there is potential for an armbar attack. You can check our last video, its all about armbars from closed guard, and we go into details about elbow possitioning, how to move etc. Hope it helps! We will be making a video about armbars soon!
