Ooss 🙏🔥
THIS IS GOLD. I will review this video a few times before rolling!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏 Hope it makes a difference! Also a “part 2” will follow soon with a few extra techniques, the video was getting way too long so we will do a second one soon 🔥🙌🏽
Nice..
Thank you! Cheers! 🤩👹
What gi is the BB wearing? I love the color.
Disregard, I found it lol. Limited Edition - Pursue the Gentle Art Jiu Jitsu Gi - Avocado

Kimura is my favorite sub. Thank you so much, i'm profesional mma fighter and i looooooove this details, Thank you soooo much
🔥🙌🏽 that’s amazing to hear! Our pleasure, best of luck with your training and next fights 👊
another great one thank you!
thank you for watching and glad you like it! Oos! 🤩🔥
Amazing content as always. Kimura is one of my favorite but the challenge for me is getting the right position. Otherwise, I cannot really use it frequently. Do you have plans for making a video about getting to side control?
Thank you! Try using the tips in this video, how to position your hand so they don't get out, as well as the leg under and over the head. The majority of times you will end up in side control from doing a takedown or passing the guard. So yes! We will start making videos about passing the guard into side control🔥 stay tunned and as always thank you very much for watching and commenting! 👊🏽
🙌🏾👍🏾👊🏾 Oss
🔥🙏👊 ooos!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
🤙🏾
I am currently unable to to get to a gym to train, so content like this truly helps me learn from home. Thanks for the demonstration!
Thank you very much for watching! And we hope to keep you good company 👊
NICE!
Thank you! 🔥🙏
awesome content. You make the bridge look easy but that is something I struggle with and I end up tiring myself without really moving the opponent . Any tips?
Hey thanks for your comment! Bridging can be difficult against strong and capable opponents. It looks easy but it’s not always. I would say it starts with good planted feet positioning. You need to use the feet to push! Then use your body like strong frame to get the distance from the ground, and then push away. Plant your feet, bridge your body connected to your opponent, not only your hips, and at the end use hands to push and make space. I think it’s better we make a video about it for you! We will do one soon! 🔥👊 how does that sound?!
@@GrapplingNerds that would be amazing! Sometimes I feel lacking in these basic moves that are so fundamental! Thank you for the tips though, I will be sure to try it out ASAP!
🔥🔥🔥
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
👊🔥 thank you 🙏
im gonna try to implement it to MMA . OSS!!!
👊🔥 yesss! Let us know how it goes 👹
This is exactly what I needed last time on the mat. I will review a couple of these right before the next roll! Awesome content as always.
Ha! Perfect timing 🔥👊 that is AWESOME! Let us know if you are struggling with something in particular and maybe we can help and make a video about it soon! Thanks a lot for watching and keeping us updated 🔥🤩
thank you!
Thank you for watching 🔥👊
I would never ever recommend putting a hook in when they got kesa gatame on you. That is just giving them an easy submission
Thanks for the comment and for pointing out! 👊 Yes, like everything else in bjj, it’s all about timing, trying different things and sometimes some escapes and positions can put you in danger of getting swept or submitted. If you watch our kesa gatame submissions video, you will see us show a submission at the end of the video, from the spot you are pointing at! Totally right! It’s not the ideal escape, usually it’s the first such escape you get shown as a white belt. The purpose of the hook is to catch the leg, and if you then perform the figure 4 before your opponent catches your leg, you have an effective escape! In a live roll situation you would be faster and you should not linger with your feet around his arms 🙌🏽 again thanks for watching and pointing that out 👌😎
great stuff, thanks!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for the support 🔥👊
Great technique!
Thank you! Cheers! 🙌🏽
Great video! I use Kesa Gatame a lot so it is good to know the counters when my mates try using it on me :)
Nice one! Same here, after our last video, showing 10 subs from Kesa gatame, our students asked us, ok this is pretty bad how do you actually get out?! Which is precisely THE question to ask 🔥 and yes, knowing what not to do, is key to holding this position and submitting! I hope your rolls will get even better 🔥🙌🏽 let us know how it goes, and if you have any specific questions or positions you’d like us to work on, and we will look into it 👹👊
Excellent energy and techniques 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! We are trying our best 🔥👊
Dangerous animal…great nickname
Hahaha! Yes indeed 🙏 Albert competes a lot! And wins a lot! Dangerous animal 👹 thanks for watching and for your support 👊
CRUUUUUSH 😂
🦴💥
Love the position. If I get there, it’s 90%+. The 10% is guys with a super strong arm and it gets stalemated (though he’s in misery the whole time!). Learned it in detail from Henry Akin’s instructional. You added a few great extra options and details that look great against the strongman. Thanks!
Thank you for watching and ofc for the kind words! The strongman can be worn down by time! If you can hold that position for long enough, a sub will come! Let us know how how it goes going further 🔥🫵
@@GrapplingNerds Took it rolling for a week now. Got into Kesa with some strong dudes. 100%. The trick of putting their wrist into your own hip fold was amazing. You have all the mechanical advantage, and the arm position doesn’t feel that threatening to them so eventually they give it to you anyways. But then dropping the knee and sliding their arm down the ramp is easy also, straight into the multiple subs at the end. Thanks!
YESS!!! That's fantastic! 🙌🏽 our pleasure! That's what we've started this channel for - sharing all the awesome things we've discovered or learned, and building a community of strong and awesome grapplers! Thank you so much for letting us know it helped you! 👊🏽
No stylish push the arm across the thigh and americana with the leg?
Thanks for asking! We have the americana part at minute 5:30. Starts with how you pin the arm on your leg, to help you move it into an armbar, which most likely will make ur opponent curl his arm right into the americana! 🤩 or, is there another position you have in mind? If so, let us know, we are all about learning and nerding new techniques that are effective 🔥🧠💀
That’s actually the only one I go to from this position lol.
that's fantastic! I believe its probably the highest percentage submission from that position anyway! The others are there for you to go for, and most of the time, your opponent by defending the other subs end up with the perfect hand placement for the Americana! Also when your opponent tries to pull their shoulder out and turn into you. It's sooo good. Thanks for watching and for your comment! 👊🏽
Thank you, I always end up in this position but have been limited on subs
Thats half the battle won! Now you have 10 🔥 let us know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching 💀🧠
whats the name of the submission where you put your fist on his throat and squeeze?
Sorry for the late reply! It's basically a "nogi" ezekiel, or also called "punch choke" ! It's super effective, even in NO-GI, and can be done from multiple positions! Thanks for watching and let us know if you have more questions! 🤩
5:53 I thought him tapping out was his elbow popping for a second 💀 I wish I could have seen my face
Hahaha you too? We wish, you should have seen ours! We had that same reaction watching and editing the video! ☠️🤣 we were like “wait did it snap and he played along after? No, can’t be: we were there! 🤣”. We had to rewind a few times to see Albert’s left hand tap! We love Albert, we need him intact 🙏 thanks for watching and commenting!
Judo bread and butter, it's also a great choice because you fall into it a lot when doing take downs as well.
@@TheAlphaGuidance absolutely 🙏 🔥 it’s so versatile! Thanks for watching and commenting!
So many options when I just need one haha I will see if I can land the position next time on the mat. Great content as always!
Thank you! You should definitely try it! Don’t forget, first of all it’s a PIN. So if you are struggling with it at the beginning, focus on just holding your oponent down 20-50 seconds, it will tire them out, and if you manage this, the submissions will come 🔥🙏 let us know how it went for you and if you have any questions, fire away 🫡💀🧠
Great stuff! Allot of good details in short time 👍 How that feel? Shit! 😂
😂 shoutout to dangerous animal Albert, we did 3 takes of this, didn’t complain once 🔥🔥 many thanks for your feedback 🙏 we are glad you’ve enjoyed it and got value out of it! 🧠💀
I definitely need to try one of these on the mat next time!
You have to! Let us know how it went 🙏
great vid! thank you!!! i subbed! really looking forward the next ones. do you have a trick to spot arm bars or it's just that you studied it so much you know them everywhere?
Thanks for the sub! Spotting armbars comes with practice and experience. I would suggest start by working with the classic armbar setups: from closed guard, from side control, from mount etc and once you get a great understanding on how to execute and catch them, then you can work your way into more creative setups! One trick I can think about is everytime you can isolate an arm, there is potential for an armbar attack. You can check our last video, its all about armbars from closed guard, and we go into details about elbow possitioning, how to move etc. Hope it helps! We will be making a video about armbars soon! Thanks for watching!
@@GrapplingNerds That helps a LOT!!! thank you so much to take the time! I'll watch the video and all the new stuff you'll put out there. Thank you!
our pleasure! always!
Many great details like how to break the grip (grab hands, not fabric), and how to quickly attack the arm bar in a way that also works for no-gi 😍
Thank you! Glad you liked it 🫡🙌🏽 oos!
Great details like how to isolate the left arm using a knee move!
Makes a huge difference 🙏🙌🏽 thanks for watching!!
I will be using this one in training.
Fantastic 👹
