That brings back some memories. I highly recommend doing the driver experience if you even get the chance to as well. Hot Laps are always over way to quickly but it's a wild experience none the less.
Dave Lucre I’m no stranger to Motorsports, I grew up riding motorbikes! However, this was the fastest I’ve ever been in a car, the initial acceleration startled me a little haha
Did you meet or see Marcos Ambrose? He raced in NASCAR here in the States and won two Cup races at Watkins Glen International along with some Xfinity races at Watkins Glen and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. NASCAR actually held an exhibition race at Calder Park Thunderdome, a 1.1-mile/1.8-kilometer long, high-banked quad-oval that was built and modeled after three of our speedways (Atlanta, Charlotte, and Texas) that are 1.5-miles long (Atlanta is 1.54-miles). The exhibition race was titled the Goodyear NASCAR 500K, which was a 310-312 kilometer event 280 laps in length, and it was won by the late Neil Bonnett.
@@TheAzza876 We miss him in the States, a unique personality that introduced NASCAR to Vegemite. When Michigan was repaved in 2012 he qualified his stock car at an average speed of over 203 MPH on a 2-mile track. Part of it was due to the grip of the new pavement. Jeff Gordon holds the record now at over 206 MPH. He left NASCAR after the 2014 season. He is part of a club of foreign-born drivers to win a NASCAR race. Others include Montoya, Earl Ross, Ron Fellows, Suarez, Friesen, Piquet Jr, and Mario (he emigrated from Italy).
You obviously enjoyed the experience. I did the V8 Adrenalin day at SMP, and while I loved the actual driving, the hot laps with the instructor at the wheel made me feel car sick.
You didn't seem phased at all, guessing you've been in the passenger seat of some other race car prior to this. It's a love or hate it kind of thing, could definitely tell you were loving it right from the get go!
i worked in Gigiganup in WA the locals said when peter Brock drove around in the morning he gave the V8 full throttle refreshing to hear about one of the greats driving high powered vehicles like they should be driven but that road was pretty narrow like the roads in Wales UK more suited for rally cars RIP Peter
I feel like my heart rate was higher than yours from just watching this haha, I can't imagine how I'd cope if I was actually in the car! Great vid Grace!
I feel like I'd be yelling at him the whole time. PUSH MATE PUSH, YOU'RE DROWNING IN WATERS, HE'S JUST HAD A PYE, WE GOTTA WHIN THIS CUP SHANE. GO LAD, GOOOOOOOOOOO!
one day day i will become such a strong personality as you and just do what i like love your content and your personality you are my biggest hope. I wish you just do the best for your life and that you enjoy your life 🤗🤗🤗
She's also taken part in Spartan races all over Australia to show how strong and what she is willing to do with her body. I mean she's ripped with the amount of endurance she does. If she came to the States here she would probably complete the American Ninja Warrior course.
Just paint me green with envy! FYI, for Americans out there she topped out at 252 KM per hour or 158 MPH. That's monster fast.
Especially for the car to be wieghing over 1000 pounds
@@liamlanza7944 i mean youre not wrong. the car does weigh more than 1000 pounds
They go a little faster down Conrod straight at Bathurst, in that race. 295kmh

She’s loving every second after the first part of the lap, so relaxed not long after!!
You look like you've done this 10 times before. Cool calm and collected. Looked like a lot of fun!

Matthew Kowal Marcos doesn’t race in the Supercar series anymore. Been around 2-3 years since he’s stepped out

Mostly on Twitch because that's her main focus but occasionally on here for these types of video.
Numerous people had watched and commented when you posted this, so to answer your question: yes
