This man is a national treasure. Those wings look amazing. Can’t wait to see you do a tri tip.
Thank you Pete. Been a while since I've cooked up a tri tip. I need to get one ordered. Appreciate you
FANTASTIC timing !!! I was going to play around with asian ribs and wings this weekend !!! Love it !!! MOJOTASTIC 💪🎻🏆😁
This would play nicely with some ribs. Slice then up, dip them in the sauce and put them back on the smoker for a few minutes to get that sauce tacky. Ah man that would be good. I may have to steal your idea here. Always appreciate you Mr Scott.
#MOJOTASTIC! Great hash tag!
Yessir. I will be making this happen. Great video, sir.
Thank you sir. This was a good one for sure. Let me know what you think
Watching this at 2:30am was not a good idea. I’ll be dreaming of chicken wings for sure, might have to have them for breakfast
Wings for breakfast never hurt anybody. Appreciate you Travis
Really appreciate the content and commitment to your channel. You’re the man Mojo.
Appreciate you brother. Comments like these keep me pressing record
Got to get me one of them Chickin chopping knives. Looks good.😎
No kitchen is complete with one.
Those look so good. Thanks for sharing!! Hope you're having a great week man.
I'm surviving the week is about all I can say. Tennessee heat and an outside job can take its toll. Appreciate you watching. Have an awesome week also
Yes Sir. I do love some grilled wings. They looked great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks friend. I really enjoyed these. Simple and awesome. I just about about finished the batch off by myself
Looks good 👍
Look forward every week for your recipe. You have good ones
Means alot Mr Jerry. I know I'm a little different and not everyone likes my style or awkwardness so it is awesome to here I've got a few folks that get me. Have a blessed week
This looks amazing 😊👍
Thank you. I appreciate you stopping by. Have an awesome week.
Mojo I got to try those!!! Thanks for the video!
I'm a fan. I've tried using the Japanese BBQ Sauce for this recipe and it was good. But this homemade marinade and sauce in my opinion was better. I will making these on a regular.
That's some awesome looking wings Jay! I really love that sauce you made. I haven't made wings, except smoked ones, which are awesome too. but need to get that crispy above 200 degrees F. I got me the MOJO bbq rub. so that's covered! those are definitely finger lickin good! Cheers my friend!
These are some great wings. Wings are great smoked but I really like hot and Fast with them. Also I like to smoke them then seep fry. I need to try that with these and see if it works. Appreciate you Jay
good vid dood!!!
Mitchy want wingys. 🐓🔥
Another great video! We all need some of your wings!
I wish I could afford to feed you all and just have a big ole party. Maybe some day I'll have a good video and youtube will send me a big check ri make it happen
Awesome looking wings brother. Gonna give this a try very soon
It's a great little recipe. Nothing overpowering in flavor. Just a smooth eating wing. Appreciate you
Hi Jay it’s always great watching your cooking shows… can’t you give ingredients details of your own Mojo BBQ sauce
These look AWESOME brotha! I need me some!
Appreciate it friend. Maybe some day we can swap out some food.
@@MojoBarbeque It’ll happen!!
Jay: I had planned on frying my wings and thighs this coming weekend but now, that has all changed - your marinade looks awesome! Might even have a few ribs to go with it. Thanks for sharing - Roy
I think this sauce would go great on some fried yardbird also. Ribs for sure. Appreciate you Roy
Looks good to me brother! Gonna try this over the weekend!
Thank you brother. I enjoyed the flavor. Nothing overpowering like I thought it would be. Appreciate you.
I think the vortex is definitely a must have for every weber. Thanks for the recipe, looks delicious!! #mojotastic
True that. Turn it upside and and put coals around and cook a spatchcock bird. It is a versatile tool. Appreciate you my friend.
Making it MoJo Asian style, I love smoking Chicken 🍗 thighs after marinading for a couple of days so good on my Weber as well I absolutely love ❤️ my Weber
I thought about running this recipe with thighs but this pack of wings just jumped out at me. I may roll with that next time. And I agree about the Weber. A do all grill. Appreciate you.
@@MojoBarbeque well they looked pretty good as well MOJO keep up the good work brotha God Bless
Looks great! Think paprika would be a good sub for the food coloring?
It might help a little. If I were to do them off camera I probably wouldn't add food coloring. It just for looks anyways. My wife could taste the food coloring but I guess my taste buds are wired different. Appreciate you
Yah just as I thought, the chunk of cherry burnt up the skin on them wings. I'd use chips instead of chunk in this case since you're not looking to set the chunk on fire, just extract smoke from it. Drop in a handful of chips every 20 minutes over top of the coals, lid down.
lol what?
I think the 500° charred the wings more than the cherry. It only flames up when lid is off. I actually still have the chunk and it's about the same size as it was when I put it on. I think chips would just burn up and not produce much smoke. I'll give it a try next time and see. Appreciate your feedback
@@MojoBarbeque Indeed, I believe the chunk flared up and bumped heat up to 500, as you say. Also keeping in mind that anything sugar sauce will char very easily. Yes try the chips next time just for experience, although I see your point, perhaps toss the chips into a small smoke box so they don't catch fire right away. Otherwise I forgot to mention that your recipes and everything are top notch. If you improve your lighting in the kitchen, get some pro lamps, your sub count would also likely increase. Thank you Mr. Mojo.
Almost had crispy skin...
That's one thing I've never accomplished on a grill. Unless you go back to my second video where I fried them over the Vortex. But these were almost there.
Improve your lighting. The food isn't lit properly, too many hard shadows.
Agreed. I bumped my aperture a notch for one shot and forgot to change it back. I climb poles for a living so cinematography is not my forte. Appreciate you stopping by and reminding me of that. Have a blessed day.
@@MojoBarbeque You're doing very well for a guy that's in a different trade. Wish you all best, thank you for your content.
Jay,You don't look like your average pole dancer
@@MojoBarbeque Jay I’m sorry you had to resort to working in a gentleman’s club the last two years have been rough on all of us. For what it’s worth I hear pole dancing requires a lot of athleticism. I’m a big fan of your videos.
@@lowdownone youtube is not making me rich so I have to do what I got to do to feed the family. Maybe I should start a pole dancing channel. Then I'd be famous
