For those of u who do not know Quang is from Hue, a region/city in central Vietnam that speaks a country dialect of Vietnamese that is very unique. Most of us Vietnamese in the western world you meet are from south vietnam and we speak a dialect different than central and north. I can only understand about half Hue dialect. I say dialect bcuz its more than just a very thick accent the diction they use is really different. Hue is also known to have some of the best Vietnamese food by far. Like comfort style Vietnamese food thats why Hue Vietnamese restaurants always have Hue in their name.

We had a new years dinner as well (my dad, my bro, and my uncle), but no one else came. Kind of a bitter feeling, but still enjoyed it cuz that's a lot of food for us. And ultimately grateful we still have each other for the dinner.
Pretty motivating seeing Quang be able to stay positive, despite having no guests for a feast. This was awesome 🤗🤗

Hey Quang, in nothern Mexico we have Sweet Bean Tamales! Tamales (ground corn and lard) steamed in a corn husk or banana leaf, filled with beans blended with cane sugar, cloves, and cinnamon.
I've never heard of that, it sounds amazing! I've made the sweet ones with pineapple and those are so good! What kind of beans do you use?

I work in a hospital in AZ and sm extremely fortunate never got Covid since day one of Covid outbreak in 2020 but the virus is continually changing, contagious and could be worse / fatal if people don't get their vaccinations and booster shots.
