Walking Dead Glen? He's from the comics you know. And his death was expected if you read them before watching the show. Not a race thing. It's just staying true to a little of the original comics. That being said, it has been the worst adapt for me ever as a fan of the original comics anyway. And reading them, Glen was a favorite character of mine. Go read them if you can. Far better than the mimicry of the show. First season was solid. I can't with the rest of it.
The one thing I always hate about these competition style shows, is the time limits. These people are experts in their field, be it cooking, blacksmithing, whatever. If you put these people in their own kitchens and let them cook you their signature meal, it will be the best you've ever had. But when you put them in an unfamiliar area with equipment that they're not used to or have never seen before and throw it time limit on there, you're adding unnecessary stress. I know it's a competition, but it's not showing you their best.
While I agree, I think the point of competitions like these is largely "what is the best you can churn out in x amount of time". Every contestant is under the same rules. Of course they aren't going to be making the best food of their lives but it's for comparison purposes.
The time limit is also BS because it isn't broadcast live or as-live. They're going to edit it heavily. So even the casual watcher knows it's fake and nothing more than a gimmick to have a countdown. But what's the point of a countdown without pressure on it?

When I was a kid, we used to fight to be the one lucky enough to stand in front of the air conditioner, if our parents even put it on. Every so often a kid who was not hungry would be caught standing in front of the open refrigerator.
I disagree with the judges... Uncle Kent's rib roast looked epic! Nice crunchy seasoned crust and tender, medium-rare, juicy meat underneath. Beautiful! His roasted marrow... I know a lot of people aren't aware of it, but it's meat butter. A nice grilled bread with that on it and you're in heaven. I'd consider myself blessed to have Uncle Kent's ribeye roast. That was a thing of beauty.
I agree. I'd rather my meat be tasty and a tad less salty so I can then season it to my taste than for it to be oversalty and start overpowering and I can't make it less salty lol

As an Asian I’m gonna admit, it’s better since we don’t have to bear the 30+ degrees Celsius heat outside And living in HKSAR (my city) It’s basically an oven due it being near the sea and near the equator with a tropical monsoon climate Hell, even if it’s almost November, the temperature only got cooler 3 days ago, before returning to normal for two more days Today is significantly cooler, I’ll admit

Ive always viewed these shows as just a pinpoint of how amazing the contestants can really cook. With short time and camera's everywhere mistakes are made and some corners do have to be cut. But when someone can work at their own smooth time thats when all the talent comes out.
What messed it up for Tung was the macaroni. Especially with the black judge. He was eyeballing that mac and cheese hard. He didn't give a damn about the meat.😂🤣

This is the only time I recommend leaving the bone in, for anything other than presentation. Direct heat open flame cooking the bone will protect the meat. Other than that bones offer nothing to your cook unless it's shank. Also we did garlic studded roasts and it does add to the flavor. Is it worth your time? That's another matter.
Kent reminds me of a lot of people that ive grown up with. The cowboy lifestyle aint for everyone though. It takes a special kind of person to deal with a 2000lb horse that can kick you in the face at a moments notice. Especially cleaning their poop. And stackin them bales. I tip my hat to our service
