Your directions are so explicit. I especially appreciate how you slow down and zoom your camera for crochet areas that are difficult to find. Thank you!
I found your CAL on the Facebook group and absolutely love this pattern! It reminds me of a vintage blanket my grandmother made years ago. I’m making it for my mom who is celebrating her 80th birthday in April. Thank you for your great instructions and video tutorial! 🧶
This was so helpful! For future videos, is it possible to list the time stamps where each round starts? I find myself frogging a row or two and having to find my way back to that round in the video. If I knew right where to go, it would be a big help. Thank you!
I know this video is 2 years old, however i just found you! I was doing great following along until round 9. I cannot figure out where to put my stitches. Ill keep watching. Im determined to do this!
I just found you the mandala blanket look beautiful 👏 I will try to make it ; I’m a new subscriber love the beautiful blanket thank yo so much for sharing 👍👏👏
Really like the colors in beginning photo? It looks grey & lavender, but would love the names of your carin cakes. The peach & gray is very pretty also!
I love this pattern and the collor of the yarn Just wowww love it. But there is no Michels in the Netherlands. Pleasssssse help what to do. I can't seem to find the right yarn because i love the one in youre video
Just completed part one and I absolutely love this. After I completed I realized that I didn’t change the colour. Can I change the colour from part 2 onwards?
I am having trouble with row 9. There should be 23 stitches on each side. If I put a half double crochet in each stitch, I have been coming out with more than 23. Sure hope you have some suggestions. Thanks much. Mary
Your pattern so far is very easy to follow. I’m glad I found your video to go with written pattern. Question at row 9, how many hdc’s between each corner? I have 18 hdc’s before first corner (so 18 hdc’s, 2hdc ch2, 2hdc, 4 times). Thanks so much for Part 1.
Just found this. I was looking for a pattern to make a blanket for his wedding. This is so beautiful. I can’t wait to get started! Do you think using an ombré yarn would work well for this pattern?
Just curious how long it took you to finish part 1. I am going to do this CAL but want to turn it into a king sized blanket. Any ideas on how to do that?
Hi Breann....just wanted to comment that this video is the only place I saw that shows how much yarn you used for this blanket (6 cakes of Caron Cakes). Can you give specifics on the yarn (i.e. weight, yardage, etc.)? I have 6 cakes of Caron Baby Cakes that is 231 yards per cake. Will that be enough for this blanket? Also, is there a certain gauge to be met for this pattern? Thanks!
i can't wait to start this one!!! i love it so much!!! making Mandala style blankets are my favorite!
Thank you so much!

Yes, that would be perfect for this :)
Breanna I think the count on row 11 is off for the sc at least in the week one written instructions. Perhaps 76 sc
Fixed :)
@@HookedOnHomemadeHappiness thanks...I've finished the first part and am loving it
Completed part 1 when is part 2 out?

I am keen to try this pattern. Could you tell what the dimensions of the finished blanket are, please.
45″ x 45″
@@HookedOnHomemadeHappiness thank you
Just curious how long it took you to finish part 1. I am going to do this CAL but want to turn it into a king sized blanket. Any ideas on how to do that?
Hi! You can easily continue the last rounds until it's the desired size :)
Will the stitches still work with a larger hook? Thinking of maybe making it larger.
If you are using bulky weight yarn, then yes, it should work fine :)
Fantastic
Thank you so much 😀
What will the finished size of the blanket be? And can we make it bigger if need be?
Hi! 45″ x 45″ You can easily add to parts 9 & 10 to make it larger :)
@@HookedOnHomemadeHappiness Thank you so much :)
How big is the finished blanket?
45" x 45"
15:29

It's the regular Caron Cakes and they are 383 yds each
Well I'm a dumba**. Forgive my comment. Made no sense at all. Not one of my most lucid moments.
The music made me think I was watching a crochet crowd video.
