I am making an afghan for my granddaughter. I am finishing my last square now. I will have 6 big ones in total using one ball of yarn per square. It will have smaller floral squares in-between, and on the inside as well. Thank you for this video. I know she will love it.
I've been looking for days for the perfect granny square to make, and now I have found it!! THANK YOU so much. I will be using this pattern to make a poncho and seamed together with eyelash yarn!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I made a baby blanket from your afghan squares and it took me a while, because last time I was doing crocheting was 30 years ago in school. But your tutorial was so great to follow and my best friend was so moved by the fact that I put so much time and love into making a blanket for her baby. And the process of making it was so good for my head as well. Creating something well organized is so good for mental health and staying focused. You are such a treasure. Through your work, you have made many people happy!
I love the pattern and love the concept of the Afghan. For those who do not know, on her blog The story of this Afghan as well as the links for the other two squares can be found. #1 Two of wands #2 Mamma! Do it yourself. Thank you for all you share Wilma.
I really think your work is awesome and your passion for what you are doing is extremely heart-warming. Your contributions are high appreciated. Blessings, love and light.
This is the best video tutorial, because of your style of presenting it, it's not just about showing the stitches but you go slow enough to follow, fast enough to not lose interest, explain very well without excess talking, and putting the 'preview' before each section to understand what you're about to do really makes it easier to follow. Well done ✅👍😊
Thank you Wilma. I am working on a blanket with squares. Its still winter in South Africa. With all my left over wool I'm busy to work it up. Next winter there will be a blanket or two for the grand children. God bless
I have some lovely cotton yarn. I didn't know what to do with it. I do now. Think it will make beautiful squares and think I have enough to make a throw for my sofa. Thank you ❤. Take care. Love Lynne xx
This is a beautiful granny square pattern! I may try using the pattern to make one of those granny square vests I've been seeing. This square if much fancier than almost all the ones I've seen.
I have been crocheting for 70 years. Have taught the craft for years. This Afghan just caught my fancy. I love anything Dutch. Over the years collected a lot of Delft. The blue and white.
Nat
Am making this now for a summer blanket for my great grand daughter! I am using Hobby Lobby Love This Cotton in the color 340 Brights! I noticed with this color I must match dye lots!
Purchased the Tulip Square Cardi pattern and am beyond excited to get started on this project. I have enough Heartland to make at least 6-7 of these cardis for Christmas gifts. *Thank you for sharing your gift and talent with us!*
Thank you for another beautiful pattern. I have made your Willow pattern on 5 blankets. I guess you could say it's my favorite. Now I will make this one.❤ Thanks

Hartelijk dank.
I’m a total beginner and I’m struggling pretty much with this. But I love this afghan and am enjoying the challenge! I’ll practise and practise ..❤ thank u!
Thanks guys sorry I'm just terrible at crocheting hopefully Ile learn one day I picked up some needles at the fairground but haven't got around to do it yet. Ok guys whats left now
Of all the ppl I’ve watched crocheting on here you are the only one I’ve seen that hold the hook and yarn just like I do!! I don’t know why but I cannot watch some ppl crochet due to how they hold the hook and yarn. It just makes me feel anxious. I can’t explain it and I know it’s crazy. Has anyone else experienced this?
This is such an interesting pattern! And so easy too! I do wonder if you will put out patterns for the other two granny squares in the pictures showing off the tulip granny square.
That's a beautiful square but you were a bit too fast for a sorta newbie like me. However after numerous stop-rewind-start, I was able to complete my square! Many thanks.
This is really cute, thank you! I didnt recognised the tulips until the end, wondering why the pattern ist called so. Even though you coloured them in the beginning 🫣 Now that i finally spotted those little cuties i appriciate that lovely pattern even more.
I might be 3 years late, but currently making this pattern :) Thanks for sharing. I searched for the other pattern shown at the start and end of this video, but couldn't find any tutorial for it :( Can you share a tutorial for that other one too please?
