What you missed is how the Guild logo in the flashback has the OSI Sword, revealing how the two sides were the same before the O.R.B. Split it down the middle.
i think they were both the guild. the second civil war (mentioned in one of hunters speeches i think) was probably the event that split them into osi and gci.
Should be noted that there is another reason for the system is to contain and control the chaos. As Brock put it is that the guild members are more or less contained by the system and play by certain rules, without it you’d get a bunch of bored crazy people with access to powers and super weapons.
Gotta remember that Brock enjoys the game just as much as he likes the serious side of the OSI. Recall the S3 episode where he really wanted to shoot the mega-laser at Monarch...
As a super casual, I have to point out the dichotomy of how the different factions dealt with civilians before the summit under the golf course. The Guild (the bad guys), were polite in asking people to leave. The OSI (the good guys), shot them.
There is a sort of overarching point that the OSI aren't as good as they claim and the Guild isn't that bad. In one of the penultimate episodes where they were re-ratifying the treaty in the ruins of the venture compound, the OSI wanted to send 2 agents to deal with Level 5 villains. As we see with the Monarch in that same season (who for the majority of the final two seasons is considered a level 5) that's a gross overreaction. Their example of a level 5 going wrong was also set off by their person. The Guild is absolutely better then the OSI
I always try to theme the music in my vids to the aesthetic of what I'm talking about as best I can! When you watch one of my vids, I want you to feel like you're playing Kingdom Hearts. Just like Sora's costume changes in Halloween Town, I try to adapt the music and visuals to match what I'm talking about. Glad you noticed! Put a smile on my face
I really like how the venture Bros make the Guild and OSI feel like their political rivals without making them feel too much like real politics and not making it controversial for audience.
Great to see some of the channels that I have subscribed to making videos about venture bros since its official cancellation. Loved binging the show last year
so awesome man, I love the venture bros and it is a fun show to watch, along with shows like smallville, Clone wars, etc and congratulations on the merch so cool!
The Guild and OSI were once all Venture property. Dean notices that there is Venture style in the OSI's flying base. What happened was, they/someone realized there are people who cause trouble in world, be it good, or bad. To maintain stability, they turned them against each other. That way these people would spend all their effort on each other. Result, world stability. One of the worst trouble makers was the Venture family. So they divid they Ventures into the Guild, and OSI. OSI is aware of this, the Guild not so much. Brock wasn't sent to Rusty as punishment, but to keep and eye on Rusty. Everything that happens to the Ventures happens for a reason. The Ventures are dangerous, so Rusty is kept down. Best example is Rusty is brother. Rusty is a clone. How did get put in there? It wasn't a accidenty. Rusty's brother is actually a clone of Rusty's father. The Monarch is anthor example. Some how the Monarch's parents plane is shot down, but the Monarch survives. He is a billionaire with Venture drive, to work that billions. How do you stop him. Put obsessive hatred in the Monarch's mind, and kill two birds with one stone. The Monarch lost all his money fighting the Venture family.
Level 1:larping Level 10:true war between good and evil. No arching system means nothing to stop the biggest villains from pretty much destroying the world. As for the Orb, I think it was a wish granting device.
and the last 10% of the video is wrong just like everybody else’s because of the movie. i wonder if they purposely left those red herrings to mislead the fans, lol. no shade, they totally got me too. 😂
@@louisduarte8763 I suppose you're right. Rusty has been confirmed to be a clone of sorts, though its not clear how many times he was cloned. Perhaps he was repeatedly cloned over the course of a decade or two, though I kind of doubt it. Rusty confirmed in "Midlife Crysalis" that he is 43 at the time. However, it is generally unknown when that season takes place. The Venture Bros as a show doesn't exactly have a set time frame. Pete has a PS2 at the beginning of season 3 and talks about getting the Nintendo Wii at some point either later that season or in season 4. This would place the show at around 2006. However, Rusty and Sgt. Hatred are seen playing Team Fortress 2 when they move to New York, and Brock mentions that he despises Justin Bieber at the beginning of season 6. This suggests that the show takes place after 2009, so that TF2 would exist and Justin Bieber would have already exploded in popularity. All this to say, Doc and Jackson have not really done much in terms of canonically dating the events of the show. We know what happens story-wise, but the exact time setting is unknown. Hence, my confusion.
@@L3pToad venture brothers is weird because essentially the series is supposed to be from 04-06 (action man's stroke) but the show itself is pretty much on a floating timeline,, pretty funny tbh

Not at that point anymore.

"I will get you, at a reasonable hour."
God I love this show.
Watch and Ward are the epitome of sassiness
I’m thinking that the modern guild was made just to contain Jonas and team venture because those guys were monsters.

I really appreciate that you used the [as] bump music in this

Blows my mind how you don't have more subs. Quality stuff.

I want to use the phrase "whip up foamy justice" in conversation but it never seems usable.
Rusty and the Monarch( Malcolm ) are the real Venture bros.
0:54-epic villain speech,I wanted to build an empire that house the machine that kicks his a**!!
The Monarch really is the best

Steak described the whole venture world as a society of LARPers. Makes sense.

I swear I’ve seen this exact video, same dialog, but with a better narrator and no 3D.

I see the G.C.I. and the O.S.I. as these
The O.S.I.: a parody of right-wing political parties.
The G.C.I.: a parody of left-wing political parties.
I never looked at it that way, but that makes sense
Monarch says 50 years ago, yet Rusty is like ten there. Must be an exxageration, as I know Rusty is not 60
You think Hank and Dean were the only Venture boys cloned back to life repeatedly?
