I would love to have seen Dragoon restored to his own body, and then the two of them end up moving in together because they've got used to one another.

Red Mantle was pretty accurate at calling him akin to a tumor, Dragoon is basically a sentient outspoken tumor at this point, albeit a hilarious one.

That's what happened to Futurama, Fox didn't want it but they also didn't want some other network picking it up and making money with it either. Soon as the rights reverted Comedy Central picked it up.

Well the only one that I seem to recall that we ever saw was the original Captain Sunshine desmond who's retired. Though given his age and the age of the second captain Sunshine who has a sidekick it's possible the light bulb finally burnt out.

Phantom Limb really redeems himself as the series goes on, and becomes a very lovable character. I can’t help thinking however that he had a meaningful hand in Dragoon’s mental decline, and that makes me sad
