Hi, you probably won't see this as this video is 3 years old, but I'm a student from Spain and Im considering having an exchange Erasmus year in Split. I was wondering if you could tell me about the nightlife, cultural activities throught the year, living costs and if you stayed at a student dorm or in a flat(or what do you recomend) as I'm having a hard time finding info online. Thanks!

Hi Silvia ! When I’ve been there, it was in September 2020. Night life was actually doing well at the beggining, there were places to go out and dance, and we were mostly doing parties at Riva (in the old town, outside) or at the places of Erasmus students.
For the cultural activities : in Split, there is the Diocletian Palace & some museums. But my favorites thing was to take the bus (getbybus) and go visit other cities for very low priced : Zadar, Dubrovnik (where there are a lot of references to Game Of Thrones) & you can also go to Zagreb. I would also recommend you to go to the natural parcs such as Plitvice (my favourite), Krka, or even the Blue Eye.
Living costs was very cheap, but it was during a period where the money was Kuna. Now that they have €, I think life is a little more expensive…
I stayed in an Airbnb, but there are students dorms in which you can stay or you can also join some facebook groups where people are looking for roomates!
You can follow on Instagram the @esn.split account, they are organizing activities/parties/travels for the erasmus students and it’s very nice because it will help to meet the other students. I remember that they have made a whatsapp groupchat for our erasmus and people were asking for roomates and we were helping eachother on that group before our arrival and even during the exchange time.
If you have any other questions, let me know :)
