I have both of these and I do like that the VIVO is not so tall. VIVO has great customer service as well.
Thanks for sharing your experience about Vivo's customer service. We have been super happy with our Vivo machines. And yes, it is helpful when spinning and maneuvering that they are shorter!

Thank you so much for your videos! I just got the Vivo and while I get a good bunch of cotton candy on the cone it also spits out a lot of unmelted or partially melted sugar all over the bowl. Is this normal? Or is there something I need to adjust?

Thank you for the video breaking down each model. The prices have jumped significantly. $314 for Vivo and $491 for Vortex both without the dome. Any other vendors you suggest at a more modest price point? Thanks!
Not sure if prices are better, but Funtime is a good option as well.

Thank you for all the knowledge you've provided for everyone! Is the carnival king on the same level as those two? Can I clean the spinner piece with water like the vivo? Also, not telling you how to run your business but if I may make a suggestion for a flavor pack! I want to order multiple flavors from your website but it's just for personal use so I can't fully justify multiple 5lbs of sugar floss when I'm the only one that eats it haha

Yes, there are a variety of heads. We use the Vivo to make flowers since that is what we have. It is ideal to use anything that outputs vertically from the head.

If you do use it for longer than an hour, after you let it cool down for 15 mins, do you also need to let it warm up again for 15 mins? Thanks!
Good question. I would say let it heat up for about 5-10 minutes, not a full 15.

Hi! Have you ever used a Vevor brand cotton candy machine? Most of their models at Home Depot have a similar shape to the Vivo, but I was wondering if they are similar quality?

I haven't used one of the ones on the cart. I would imagine it can be removed, but maybe contact the manufacturer to be sure?

It is covered in a gold vinyl wrap, just need to wrap your silver bowl
Do the machines tell you when they're getting close to overheating or is there a way to tell? Or should I just have a timer?
Good question. Every machine will be a bit different. When the cotton candy starts to come out slowly, often producing more of strings then nice cotton candy, you know it's time to switch out.
hi :) i was curious can you do a review on ANFIRE Commercial Electric Cotton Candy Machine Pink Candy Floss Maker its costs nearly the same as vivo but claims to do 3-4 servings per minute as vivo does 2-3 i reached out with the company it also has a year manufacturer warranty thought about giving it a try mainly since i don't have to worry about replacing a belt as its not belt driven thanks :)
Was looking for video for the added piece on the bubble? I was about to order the Vevor machine till I saw your video so I will be purchasing the Vivo.
Also.. you say to let it cool down after 45-60 min.. so start then turn heating on let it hear for 15 then pour and make for 30-45 min then turn ONLY HEAT OFF OR BOTH SWITCHES OFF for 15 min then turn back on?
Heat up about 15 mins, run machine for about 45 mins, cool down with heat turned off for about 60 seconds before turning power off.
Say you are serving at a party and your machine started outputting slower and stringy/twisted cotton candy. You turn off the machine for 10-15 minutes but when you turn it back on the machine is still outputting stringy cotton candy, what do you do? I’m going to serve at a party for about 2.5 hours and am worried about this issue, any feedback would be appreciated ❤
Ideally you need to let the machine cool, take off the top plate, clean it in water, dry it, and put it back on. It starts to slow/create twisty cotton candy because the head gets dirty.

How do you clean the black stuff off the head under the cover plate? Vinegar does not work.

I've never used it but it looks very similar to the Carnival King which I love.
Just purchased the vivo got it in the mail and the floss head never heated up on didn't even get to spin a cone for the kids
How disappointing! You should absolutely exchange it for another! There is clearly some type of damage to the one you received.

I bought a Vivo and I love the size and ease of use. Not so happy with its consistency in cone size at the moment. Although customer service is ending me a replacement plate. Does anyone know how Vivo compares to carnival king?
They are really similar, both should produce the same size cone. If the cones aren't consistent, it definitely could be the plate.

I unfortunately bought the Vivo and it burns the sugar within 10 minutes of use. Don’t waist your money
That's too bad to hear. I hope you were able to get a replacement machine from Vivo. It most definitely shouldn't burn sugar within 10 minutes.
