Why didn’t you guys put the hard candy into a spice grinder or blender? I’m sure it would turn into more of a powder which could have made it easier to make the cotton candy
it could be like normal cotton candy because the thing that causes it to pop is the little pressurized carbon dioxide bubbles it so if you put it in the cotton candy maker they might explode in there but they wont pop when you eat it (in cotton candy form)
Why not put the candy soda into a food processor instead of just hitting it to break it up? That way it’s more of a powder than just rocks. The strands should end up thinner and fluffier.
It should kinda since you can use it with creme brûlée for the crunchy top (long story) but it smells really really bad and chemically it also made me dizzy!
