Yes, but a Typhoon/Hurricane delivers more water in a single storm than a country like Germany or the Netherlands sees in a whole year, let alone a single storm.

That is the amount of 4 months and we have the rain statistically distributed over the whole year. Really really unusual for germany this event. At some places the last all time high was 3.72m and this time the last indication was 6m before the gage was washed away.

And I'm sick of hearing climate change in the middle of all this. I think as usual, people need of be on that water, the beautiful view on the water, and not having any where for the water to go.... like down here in the states, cape cod 2 hours from Boston and every storm not only loose beach front, but loose the houses that come with all that beauty. I live in the West USA Oregon, we had a "heat dome loop" this month that was a 1 in 10,000 year event. We have had no rain in months. Why is one side of the earth completely dry and the other has days of rain?
