Excellent video! I'm glad to have helped a little, I love Tamriel's creatures!
@@tarponpet thanks for all your help!
Well done 😂
👍👍👍
Can't wait for all the new bugs Bethesda will show us in TES 6.
Oh, and I guess it'll be cool if they show us some new insects native to Hammerfell, too.
Todd will take out the old Creation Engine to spin up some new bugs
bold of you to assume its coming out lmao
Please make a video on the mushrooms fungi and lichens of Tamriel!💛
This ! All of this!
Oh, that is a great video topic. There's so much to talk about there.
I am so interested in Tamrielic botany/mycology but there are only a handfull of good videos about the topic. I have done some research into the topics but I can't find much, most of the lore/knowledge is about the alchemic properties only
Cloak are the coolest piece of clothing. Hope for its return in fashion. One of the best video!
aren’t cloaks essential cousins to capes?
no capes
As someone, who wears cloaks, I can only agree. Have a long, woolen cloak, that I wear during Winter when I walk the Dog, for example. And surprisingly, it is better than any jacket I can remember to have worn. It keeps me dry in the rain, and keeps me warm enough, that I can walk in the snow with just a T-Shirt and light pants beneath, and still start to sweat due to how warm it is. Only when it's very windy outside do I wear a light jacket in addition. And since it has one of those long hoods, that you can actually wear to keep the sun out of your eyes, and since it's so long, you can also wrap the hood around you as a impromptu scarf.
Have also a shorter woolen cloak, that I wore daily, until its clasp broke, and I haven't gotten around to fix it yet. ^^" But it was great for autumn and spring.
Now I only wish, that I had one or two more cloaks (one long and one short), that are waterproof, but of a lighter fabric, to wear during Summer.
Be the change, be excentric, help bring back cloaks into Fashion.
Did we do a video on Tamriel's mushrooms already? I kinda don't remember one.
Which is weird. AAA-topic.
I might do it some day
The all fall under the so-called "Creepy Crawly" category
you are single handedly treating my insomnia thank you so much. not only do i love your videos, they are perfect to drift asleep to. i appreciate you
This channel keeps me falling in love with the Elder Scrolls
Great video!
In Skyrim there is a unused model of a golden, beetle-looking bug oddly named "draugrmalestatic". The name hints that it may have had something to do with Draugr and Nord ruins, and the "static" implies that it would not move. Source is tcrf website in the Skyrim section and google, where you find pictures of it.
My favorite type of clothing is dresses. I like ones with flowy skirts that fan out when I spin and sway when I walk. I feel like they make me look more graceful than I actually am.
Slim fit jeans, button down three buttons open and lots of jewelry. It's what I'm comfortable in anyway. You do you. Great video as always 👍
I'll have everyone know Giant Space Program is not a bug but a feature. Seriously programmers knew that from the first day and left it both to show the strenght of giants and most importantly because its absolutely HILARIOUS. Also GREAT video! I LOVE the bugs of TES!!
If Skyrim would have the Magic System of the previous Game:
Enhance Strength on Target. Make it as strong as possible.
➡️ Land on Nirns Moons (at least one of them. Don't know how to get back🙃)
Seriously excited for this
Finally! After all this time, your magnum opus!
At my age my favorite piece of clothing is a good pair of comfortable shoes. And with as much walking as our characters do in these games I'm pretty sure they also appreciate some comfortable shoes😆....... great video.
I don't really have a favorite but I guess short comfortable sport pants are pretty neat.
Comfy, fast to put on and you almost look like a decent human being, especially if you didn't forget to put something on up top.
I love patterned long sleeve button ups!
It's time to sit back, grab my coloring book and tea, and enjoy❤ thank you for all the effort you put into this video❤
Edit, I just realized you're Dutch 😂 nice to see someone else in this country be as obsessed with Elder Scrolls lore as me😂
This is the best insect video on the elder scrolls i have ever seen.
Leather jackets are pretty badass.
Love the bugs too, the shroom beetles look awesome.
YESSS BUG VIDEO!! tbh insects and elder scrolls are my two favorite things in this world, im so hyped to watch this :D
It is kind of funny since ESO is a MMO and giant insects/arthropods are a staple of MMOs, that is where a lot of these creatures debut!
I've only made it 20 seconds into the video and I just wanted to say: Zork, spiders aren't insects hurr hurr
You're exactly the type of person he was talking about in the video
Another excellent video as usual
my favorite type of clothing might be a good pair of wide leg jeans. great video 👍
Really nothing beats skirts and dresses with *pockets*
Good content man 👍🏻
I love warm socks in the winter. I also wish cloaks and capes were still a thing.
My favorite clothes is my 1980s raider jacket!!! Passed down from my old man.... thanks for asking man
I really like wearing fun socks when to break up the monotony of the day
I always thought the Hoarvor's abdomen looked like giant brains.
One thing I notice about eso, is that after the warden was introduced, the amount of shalks that have infested other regions, and shalk like beetles inreased (the assassin beettles in hammerfell sorta share the same model too but thats basegame) I cant tell if its just reusing a creature whenever they can, or they actively want to include it and cliffracers in other regions rather then make the animals warden summons look less specific to vardenvell, its not like they didnt try to make varient appearances, the collector edition has the only varient for the ultimate class ability that reskins the bear summon into a silver bear with a sigil on it. really hoping scrying lets us unlock varients for our class abiltiies, and cosmetic options to change the appearance of summons. The nightblades shadow being able to be any race but a breton in primevil outfit, the summoners daedra being other colors. maybe the ability to control which type of skeleton the necromancer summons. and of coursea few reskins for the shalk and cliffracer into say an eagle, and the shalk into a spider, or maybe even other regions specific creature such as a Chaurus and Chaurus Hunter
My favorite thing about the Elytra is that they walk on water like giant pond skaters.
I usually prefer clothes that don’t have a lot of itchy fabric if that makes sense.
I think it'd be fun with a video covering the less-known beastraces of Tamriel, such as the Imga, Harpies, Centaurs, Lamias, etc.
Can't go wrong with a good pair of carpenter style jeans.
As a lepidopterist I'm very impressed 😂 great video
Epic
Anything with a hood is my favorite. Zip up hoodies specifically
I remember the first time i stumbled accross a shellbug in skyrim. At first i was spooked by the giant bug but then i realized it was just a massive, round thing that made cute noises. I was upset when it died
Hakama are my favorite, and the Akaviri not having them is a bit odd given what all they use for designing them. Plus they're just really comfy. ^^
Favorite piece of clothing are the humble pants, they really need to bring those back in TES6
My favourite T-shirt a few years ago had bees printed on white background.
These videos are great for my head Canon of realism in the Elder Scrolls.
I.e building out the ecosystem/environment.
I'm partial to socks. can't ever have enough of them.
I love Arthropods, thank you for making this video :)
I feel like ESO did a great job adding lots of new bugs and in different areas
Ayyyy this is a cool video idea
I love learning about the creatures in the elder scrolls
I’m a freakish shape, so I’m gonna say there’s nothing like a pair of tailored pants. I was 27 years old when I realised none of my clothes had ever fit properly.
the chaurus hunter is one terrifying and ugly insect just seeing one causes me to have an irrational fear
T-shirt and jeans combo, with a jacket. Best when it has stamped or embroidery.
my favourite type of clothing is dark wash denim. it's a bit broad but it's very versatile. I love having stuff but I've nowhere to put it which means the more versatile the better plus you get a sense of achievement the more outfits you can incorporate it into. a dark denim jacket or pair of jeans can be good for so many occasions. I also have a pleated dark wash denim skirt for some reason. anyway cool bug video.
The "ch" in chitin is pronounced with a "K" sound. I used to say it the way it is spelled for a long time as well.
Favorite clothing in Elder Scrolls? The leather gloves in Skyrim. I am constantly pulling stuff out of bodies, and it makes cleaning blood off easier. The unarmed enchantment also helps.
I think he meant irl
@@quollosuru Irl, then rubber gloves. Working with sick people requires some PPE and gloves are a great additional layer of safety between you and what ever they got.
Can't remember if you already did something like that, but a look at the clothes and fashion of Tamriel could be interesting.
You saved my work day which says a lot about work
Hey, wake up. Imperial Knowledge dropped a 45 minute video on the insects of Tamriel
If you're going to kill bugs, at least kill fetcher flies.
-Mirri Elendis
Omg what a recommendation, dont have the time rn so gonna save this to my watch later i love this games lore and insects are cool and would love to learn about the bugs in the world of elder scrolls
I'm partial to hats. I did have a fedora phase, but have since moved on to basic caps.
Pretty cool. Thanks.
I Love this channel so much bro never stop
Morrowind really does have all the most fun (and/or terrifying) insects huh?
Its crazy that Imperial Knowledge was the Bay Harbor Butcher
I fckin love bugs this is great!
best video yet
The chaurus hunter reminds me of the ichneumon wasp, a type of parasitoid wasp that uses its long ovipositor to lay eggs in its host. These larvae then hatch inside the host insect and essentially eat it from the inside out. Perhaps something like that is happening?
Japan has something called M_rder Hornets, they are very big, very aggressive, hold grudges, and their sting is very nasty, fatal even.
Jester hats, the ladies LOVE jester hats
I like a good pair of boots and a well made hat.
Maybe the Chaurus are some life form that change sex as they change their life phase. The Chaurus Reaper could be a female laying eggs, but it takes a male, the Chaurus Hunter, to fertilize the eggs. I think it's called Sequential hermaphrodism, but i don't remember
I like shorts, they're comfy and easy to wear.
I feel like the reason i was born is to watch this video
44.4 minutes on bugs in elder scrolls. Incredible haha
Birds of Tamriel would be amazing 🥰
I don't really have a favorite but I guess short comfortable sport pants are pretty neat.
Comfy, fast to put on and you almost look like a decent human being, especially if you didn't forget to put something on up top.
(sorry if this is a duplicate but just because it seems like youtube didn't post my comment...)
Hopefully Tamriel doesn’t have any stink bugs
If the Chaurus Hunter isnt undead, then it must not be the same creature, perhaps killing its "mother" causes biological reaction happens upon death causing a dormant egg to gestate inside of the carcass, to burst fourth as a hunter, as some kind of defense mechanism to protect the nest/hive.
now i need video about crabs :D
I wear a pair of like 15 year old doc marten boots pretty much every day
Bamboo clothes are the best.❤
damn i love ponchos
Well, here's something I never thought I'd be watching lore on creepy crawlys 😂 but, here I am. Edit: now I know what all the clothing comments were about 😂😂😂
Chorus have the most kill me number, second are elder dragons
You forgot about Lil Moths from Black Marsh lol
I'm a fan of slip on shoes
I like my hat! 🤠
So you really did not mention muscle bees that is able to throw carriages from it's way, are tiny as regular bees and live only somewhere between Rift and Folkreath Skyrim holds. Huh.
COOL
Bugs
Bugs
Bugs
Bugs
Yeah I made it
Hoodies are best
Fallout 76 has a tick model... OH GOD THEYRE GONNA REUSE THEM FOR HORVORS IN TES6 ARNT THEY
Once again, the ants of Skyrim have been overlooked. This blatant ant prejudice will not stand!!
Otherwise. Good job 😉
Intro music is awesome. Is it part of some music song? Whats is its name?
Hello there
Scarf
idk man, a 1000 years should be plenty of time for a species to change, just look at humans! we used to be borderline ewoks! :D
Roman tunic! 😅
❤🎉
