Moments from our week in Italy | Mostly featuring Bologna!

A few weeks ago we headed over to Italy to celebrate the wedding of Mattia's mom. We headed to Bologna for a day by ourselves, but then travelled around Tuscany spending time with various family members. I filmed less and less as the trip became more and more people focused, so apologies for the way the video speeds up and only features brief snippets of particular places! Hopefully it gives you enough of a taste!
The weather wasn't what we'd hoped for after the long Scottish winter, but the rain and fog did add a certain atmosphere to the Tuscan countryside inbetween the bouts of sunshine! Luckily there was a perfectly timed dry spell for Mattia's mom to be able to get married outside as she'd hoped.

Have a large & conspicous gap in the middle of Italy Between Rome & Milan that we've not explored & this is all gorgeous

You are so right! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think of it as a Tuscany trip because we only spent 1 day in Bologna, but I'll edit the title/thumbnail so it's not misleading. Thanks for pointing it out. ☺️
