- AORAKI / MT COOK - MUST DO New Zealand Road Trip. In my opinion Mt Cook National Park is the one destination that you should not miss on your trip to the South Island of New Zealand.
We did the walk to Tasman Lake and Hooker Lake plus a scenic flight. Mt Cook is just mind flowingly beautiful and I highly recommend add this place to your bucket list! ☺️

Thanks Stephen! I want to go back again too! Cant get enough of this place! :)
Thanks so much for this great video. Loved it. You got some great shots. I hope to vist NZ soon someday. In which month did you make your journey for those shots? I'd love to see the mountain (and ranges) with the snow caps, just as you have captured them, with the weather not too cold. March seems a good month to visit NZ but I think that by that time the mountain ranges in Mt Cook and Queenstown will be bald. Maybe November is better? Anyway, awesome video with breathtaking scenery. Thanks!
Thankyou so much! Yes in March there won’t be any snow left on the mountains. Definitely go after Winter probably September/October. I was there in Winter. It is very beautiful then but also very cold! 🙂
What an amazing place! You managed to do so much in one day Larissa! Thanks for the travel inspo!
