Make note don't watch this in the room with Alexa! I had her on pause, thank you for restarting her on volume 10 making me hit the ceiling not to mention terrifying passers by my open front window. Might just watch this video again later in another room when my jangled nerves have calmed down 😂

okay this is a 6 year old video but it fixed my problem where alexa would sometime hear me and other times not. putting the volumn to 5 was gold.. thanks

Why do I have to say yes to Alexa twice when she asks me?!
Had a few different echo models over the years, just bought a new Echo Studio, when I ask it to delete all notifications, it asks me “do you want to delete all notifications” I say YES clearly and loudly and nothing happens!! Only when I say YES again does it work… why must I repeat myself twice everytime, is there a fix for this? Never had an issue before on any other model

My echo dot hears me fine but doesn't do what I ask. For example, I can be listening to music and I will say "Alexa, stop" and the music continues. I know it can hear me because the music volume decreases

Surely it has to be a warranty issue?... Google Assistant is far better at picking up voice commands spite what way it is put to use. "Alexa Stop!!" is a frequent command at our place

Mine is in the exact same location it's always been, and suddenly she often can't hear me. I also have no reset button on the bottom.
I'm definitely NOT going to get a remote control. I hate remotes. Just more 'crap' in my home, a need to buy batteries (bad for environment) and... what happens when you no longer need the remote or it breaks? How many homes have tables full of remotes and none of them work or no one can figure them out? Remotes are a scourge...mainly intended for fat lazy Americans.
I'm also NOT about to have Alexa learn my voice. It's enough that I have an Alexa in the first place. The only reason I have one is because it was a gift, and much to my surprise, I found it very useful.
