Like the look of them, I’ve been throwing Robson plus flights, the fact that they are more rigid works for me. Also liking that you can use whatever shafts you want is a definite bonus as well.
I can't even begin to describe how insanely jealous I am that you already have the L-Style Fantom Flight darts! 😱🎯 I'm counting down the days until I can get my hands on them and join in on the fun. Can't wait to play with these bad boys! 🙌 #DartsEnvy
very strong endorsement for Fantom flights. Ive always been a fan of molded flights and appreciate the versatility in using any variety of non-metallic stems. You got me sold and will order mine in red to match my Joe Cullen 25gm darts. Good review and i’m enthusiastic to see their performance. Cheers m8.
I just bought a GEN7 nine5. My last practice dart while being called up ran up the flight and ruined the aluminum holder. I change the beautiful shaft of the GEN 7 to my old Slik Stiks and never looked back. Now 8 can go back to my GEN 7 titanium shafts December 1st or near. Thanks for the great info... 💙😊
Wow these are exactly what I would want, being able to use any stem is a game changer. You're always putting me on to new stuff, I didn't even know about moulded flights until one of your videos about them and now these, can't wait to try them! Thanks for the video and I hope you're doing well
Cheers Ben! Yeah, the stems thing is the game changer for me. I suspect it will be for a lot of players. I didn't mention it in the video but pretend you get a horrific bounce out and break a 1 piece moulded flight. You have to replace the entire thing. If it happens with these you can simply just replace the stem. All around better system imo.
@@WorldwideDarts Exactly! I prefer moulded flights and I kinda struggle knowing which length is best for me so with this I can use any of the regular stems that I have with these new flights to see what works best. Definitely a better system
Great timing on this informative video. I was recently talking to a friend and noticed he had molded flights. He says sure been using them for a while now. So I have been reading up on the different types. I’ll be trying these first.
I have used L Style flights for years now. I have the kind where you needed to purchase and install your own champagne cap. I used the same set of flights for a solid year through all the league seasons and they still look perfectly fine. These new clear, rigid flights with the integrated champagne cap do look super nice. Basically like a Condor Axe minus the stem. I do think that one of my favorite features is the ability to use any nylon or carbon stem as you mentioned. This alone allows for a much cheaper way to change up your shaft length to alter your setup if ever needed. Great review as always!
I will definitely be grabbing a couple sets of these when they come out. Thanks to Worldwide and specialty points the current set of L Style EZ flights i have been using on my match darts for close to 2 years now have almost no damage.
@@WorldwideDarts They have, thanks to your advice of removing the lip on the dart. I have always liked the ridigness of condors but was not to keen on the whole all in one combo for the fact that if you do manage to break a thread then you gotta bin the whole thing and they only come in set lengths, so these are perfect, without even trying them the fantoms are a 10/10 already in my books.
I agree. I would have given them a 10 but I'll need to test them out for a longer amount of time. I think a lot of people are really going to like them. @@Michael_van_Gerwyn
I currently use l1 with unicorn gripper 3 stems and they fit like a glove and last months, hope these fit just as nicely and last longer. Those blue flights have my number.
I've used L-Style flights and stems for almost a year. I've had to get a second set of flights because they kinda warped/bent but the carbon stems should last me forever! I can't wait to get these stiff beauties!
yeah, they look as nice as I was expecting! Absolutely loving the L3 too. Love the logo placement on the sides. Purple too! haha Who am I kidding, I'll be grabbing multiple varieties when I can. And yeah, I've absolutely robin hooded L-Style (& other molded flights) with the good ol YaoYeah points! 😂 Even so though, I have only damaged one stem while doing so (took a chip out of one of the arms on the stem when I went through a plastic champagne ring). Anyways, great review! Can't wait to get these babies!
I have tried the L style flights in the past and found (at least for me) that they rip easily and just don’t last long compared to other similar moulded flights: 8 flights and Fit flights. Hopefully these new L styles will be better because I really like the way they look and the fact L style can fit on any old nylon/carbon stem. But, thank you, WW, for the review, Always much appreciated.
Thanks. A once in a lifetime moment. I'd love to be able to capture that on video. It's unreal that a perfect leg of cricket (steel tip) doesn't exist on video
I was thinking to buy the k-flex system, but i think i will wait a bit to buy these. I have some carbon l-style stems laying around that I don’t use anymore, now the time to put those back in action. Nice vid as always, thanks
Hello, once again a great video. But could it be that the flights don't quite fit into the shaft? There are still a few millimeters missing until they are flush.
Though I love the Condor and now K-Flex, ever since L-Style pulled the others earlier this year I have been waiting for these and look like they don’t disappoint. I will get these just for more options. By the way Target K-Flex new colors in December, new shape early 2024, new designs late 2024. So more options there. Things are good with our choices. With your new setup I think you’re ready for matchday Mondays. What a fantastic round of throws. I would have tightened up so much, would have been paralyzed.
What a funny leg of cricket it was too. No 9 marks. I honestly didn't realize what i had done until the 6th dart went in the 25. I was like "oh hey wait a second!" As I went back to the line I was debating on what to throw at first. Went for the 16's and when that went in I thought to myself "oh s***". But yeah, a strange leg of cricket with no RO9.
It looks amazing. I have been using the normal EZ for a while now. I like how they are light and soft, and the floaty feel it gives. The fantom seems very firm and rigid, does that take away the floaty feeling or how does it compare to them? Guys i am new to the whole darting sports, hope you guys can help me 🙏🙏
Hey WWD. I would remove the paint from the barrel. I think you will then have an even more beautiful look. I'm really looking forward to using the flights myself. Greetings from the Netherlands
A lot depends on your throw with the deflections as well. I've used Condors (small, short) for a good while. Playing right handed I ruined them pretty fast but had no deflections. Now owing to a bad case of the dreaded itis I play left handed and I will admit with the same setup I get a lot more bounce outs than I do with non-rigid flights, but that's because I don't throw as hard lefty
@WorldwideDarts depends which set. Anything with a lip gets a storm point, either nano or onyx depending on what I can get hold of. My new set are Harrows Atrax and a storm point gives them a bigger lip (funnily enough they're the least issue with deflections but I suspect that's because they're a couple grams heavier than I usually use)...
Thanks for the video very informative as always my only issue is with the size difference shape and standard there really isnt much diffence i would like to see them a bit smaller for the shape size but other than that appreciate your channel as always ...
I can show you. I would say they're identical because I measured a bunch of different sides and checked different areas and there would be slight fluctuation depending on how tightly I held the calipers. Condors - ibb.co/sKtY1W2 Fantom - ibb.co/SQP6yy3
i use Fit flight. guess these flights will not be compatible with a solid non-split end of stem system. unless you cut the insertion point(s)of the flight.
Kind of looked a little more like a bounce out than a deflection and agree 100% on people be careful where you get your information people love to talk they watch two or three videos and now think they're jocky or lowe
I might be an oddball here but I honestly don't notice much difference at all between standard shaped flights of the same size. These flights perform identical to the L-Style EZ flights I used with the exception that the Fantom's get to the board MUCH quicker. Same angle of entry though.

Anyone can recommend any other stem/shaft similar to the 13mm lstyle one? I use both the cosmo size 1 and 13mm lstyle shaft/stem. Can't find similar shaft/stem length😂
Pretty sure the weight of the flight will keep me off them. I like my darts to land at a slight angle upwards, so I'll probably stick with the original L Style.
I threw the L-Style EZ flight and these back to back. I didn't notice any difference at all. The fact that the Fantom flights get to the board a lot quicker kind of makes up for the few tenths of a gram in weight. If you use L-Style these are definitely worth a try.
Great stuff as usual! Keep up the good work 👍🏼 Could you please tell me what the silver barrels, with the red ring are exactly? Plus, what points do you have in them? Thanks again.
Being honest, I will probably give these flights a skip. Condor and KFlex land flatter than I would want them to, and they are comparable to standard stems and flights in terms of weight. With those flights already weighting over a gram, I can’t imagine them being much different.
They perform the same as any other rigid flight system. The big thing here that a lot of players will like is they can use the exact stem length they want instead of only have 3 choices with the all in one system.
