    I'm genuinely curious about the type of person who owns both a Tesla, and a BMW i3. I quite like the i3 for it's aesthetic, but I gotta admit it's outclassed by the Tesla in every way.

      It was a lease we got back in 2014 before we got the Tesla in 2016. This is a very old video. With all the tax incentives the i3 cost $65/month.
      Overall we really liked the i3 and miss it. It had a lot of room in a small footprint. The only shortcomings are range, any kind of autopilot ability, and performance. It was fun and easy to park. The plastic body panels means we didn’t have to worry about door dings.
      The S is really a different car. It’s huge. It has worse visibility but is more comfortable. We later traded for a 2018 P100D which is extremely fast.

    This is tight, not like other videos. However I have seen a tesla parked so close to the wall you couldn't put a finger trough :D.

    But can a Tesla or any EV self-park into a driveway from the road outside the house? And the opposite : self-drive backwards out of the driveway onto the road outside the house? This is something that most drivers have to do and hate having to do. Your car is typically parked facing forward in your driveway so you have the dreaded task of having to drive blindly backwards out through your gates into a busy or not so busy street. How when backing out do you see approaching vehicles - let alone bicycles or scooters or motorbikes?!
    This is the main reason why so many people with driveways leave their vehicles parked out on the kerbside overnight nearly all the time and will even use public chargers or trail extension cables over the pavement/sidewalk rather than face the hassle of having to drive onto their driveway and back out into traffic the next morning. Only people with electric gates almost always drive onto and out of their driveways.

    How did you do auto park in the garage ? I only have summon.

    • @MikeAndTum
      @MikeAndTum  3 года назад +1

      You double click the end of the park button, choose the direction on the screen, open the door, get out and close the door.

    Can this car park in a tight slot, when the road is only 3meter width?
    I mean, the car enter to the slot by L shape not straight like this video.

    • @MikeAndTum

      No, this one won’t park where it needs to turn but I think the new ones can.
