Well they had to reshoot because the raw first take the owner started to dry heaving and then tried to knock out the guy who ruined his beautiful truck. So they bought the guy 3 more behind the seens to make him happy and paid him handsomely to fake a positive reaction for TV. Only thing I can think of anyway.

Those wheels are the stupidest thing you could possibly put on there. Otherwise nice build. It was better before because it's only original once, I would have never destroyed a piece of history that way.

Are those wheels even street legal? Many places don’t allow wheels extended beyond the body unless you put flairs on the car.
I have a soft spot in my heart for the old Willys since I had a beat up 54 wagon in high school and created so many memories with and in it. It had narrow mud tires on it and it would get down thru the soft stuff on top and dig. It would go places many other pickups and such with wide tires would not. It was popular enough to make it in our class yearbook. We (the classmates) painted it bright orange with a roller and had "Class of 71" painted on the side. It was a rusty but trusty old wagon. Later on I put a 2WD panel (no windows, no rust) on it that had the barn doors in the back and put a nicer blue paint job on it.

The truck is beautiful. They are known for a tiny cab so I like the cab mods. The widened box? OK would take some getting used to. The wheels I agree when will this disgusting trend end? With the guy getting his truck done for free I think he can afford to get it some decent wheels.
How to ruin a nice Jeep:
A. Put stupid wheels on it,
B. 700hp engine is way way way overkill.
I like the show, but just NO.
That's just not my cup of tea I'm more old school.

So they didn't use one single thing off the bed, chassis, wheels n tires, engine, trans, front and rear axles, interior, The only thing they truly used was the cab and that they cut up. With the left over parts you could almost build another truck. What DID they do with the left over parts?

Absolute waste of a beautiful original Willys (pronounced Willis) truck. Sad to see this mindset, but to each his own. I’m happy to see that they like it though.

What I really like is putting that Hemi in there instead of the typical Chevy or Ford motor. Don't like the wheels but overall nice.

So dumb, terrible wheels, butchered the cab, got rid of the original motor which sounds so badass. Went about this build all wrong. Y’all should have just beefed up the chassis axels and suspension, added power steering and other creature comforts like vintage air but left it as stock looking as possible.
I’m with you they ruined the truck and what makes it special. They should just have a Jeep gladiator and shortened it.

Bueno, está bien, ya la encontré, sin embargo el detalle que no me gustó fué esa Manguera atravezando la parte frontal del Motor (muy feo), la carrocería fué ensanchada pero no se ve perfectamente plana y el color verde se nota diferente en el guardafango y la puerta Lado Chofer. He visto mejores trabajos de Uds.

Ho appena visto la puntata in tv. E ho notato un difetto molto brutto. Così lo cercato su RUclips per farlo presente. Quando consegnano la jep e cominciano a parlare. Dopo appena un minuto si vede una macchia d'olio perterra sotto il motore. Brutta cosa per un'auto praticamente nuova.
Y asi es que se echar a perder una jeep clásica, como le van a hacer eso a un clásico que era perfecto, esa transformación fue un sacrilegio quedo horrible
Pues el cliente lo pidió y le gustó al menos ellos cumplieron pero la verdad yo estoy de acuerdo, como era antes estaba mil veces mejor
