Alternatively, you can open a superannuation account that has a direct investment option. Everyone working in Australia gets 10% of their income deposited into superannuation, so you can use this as part of your investment pool and invest directly into ASX 300 shares, ETFs and LICs.
Yeah, and have no access to that until some arbitrary age that government makes up in the future. It's not a bad system but having that as your only share intestments I think is unwise.
