I've watched this three times. Mary-el is such an amazing and intimidating deck for me, so thank you for helping me rise to the challenge. It is a time in my life again when I need this depth. Afterwards, I actually sketched a rough draft of my interpretation of the Ace of Wands! This is so inspiring, and I am looking forward to seeing more! Thank you a million times!!
So awesome! The 4 angels are also the 4 fixed signs: lion's head - Leo, eagle's head - Scorpio, human head - Aquarius, and bull's head - Taurus. Loving #maryelmagic2020 so much! 💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@lenastrandberg197 Yeah, I noticed that. Thinking Marie put the eagle with swords/air because it's a bird (flying/air association), and then Aquarius as the water-bearer with cups/water.
The Eagle with Scorpio even though it is a water sign, is the association of the French Esoteric system upon which the Mary -El Tarot is based. There are actually two other additional animals associated with the sign of Scorpio as well, aside from the well known scorpion association with Scorpio.
@@JulianneVictoria Yes perhaps, I need to look at that interview with Marie again and see if she say something about this. So if she had kept it in the usual order of the suits but kept the astrological signs as it is now, it would have been astrologically correct.( Not that it has to be astrological correct, of course, I love this deck just as it is : ))
Brilliant video, I was thinking that for myself I would have the Ace Swords first. Because for me I live a lot in my head. So, my creativity starts in my head, then the Wands would come next as I try to create what I see in my minds eye. Then Water would be next as I nurture it with my emotions, love, hate, whatever, which waters the Pentacles, my creation and I watch it grow, or wither away and die to be replaced with something more vital, sturdy and strong. Great explanation Nat 🙌👏
I can’t even begin to tell you how helpful this was for me. Thank you so much for explaining this in such a clear and understandable way. I am so drawn to this deck and yet intimidated by it.
Sacred Turtle I’m so glad you found it helpful! 😅❤️ Yes- it can be a very intimidating deck. I think Marie White assumes the reader has a solid knowledge base in the esoteric language of the Golden Dawn decks. It just takes some work to tease out the meanings and intentions. Have a wonderful week! 🙏❤️🕊😘
Great explanation! Just one thing I'd like to share, I see the colours on each card's tummy representing a chakra energy. So from left to right, each chakra emphasises on the respective actions: to have (passion) - to act - to communicate - to love.
I know this is an old video, but after seeing your marked Magician, I was curious. Mary White, in her book, uses the French attributions of the Hebrew letters. I'm talking about the group of occultists including Levi, Papus, Wirth and such. Why do you think she went with those? And how do you think that would affect the interpretations of the majors?
Omg! You are an awesome teacher. I was stuck to my phone watching this and you made it easy to understand and comprehend. Absolutely brilliant. I’ll be watching this a couple more times and can’t wait for the next instalment. Soooooo good! Thank you 🙏 Much love and light your way ❤️😘
I am obsessed with your Mary -el videos! Just a wish I’d you cover the rest of the majors of Mary el and cover the Court cards. That would be dream come true. Love your style of teaching 🙏 thank you.
Natalie...this explanation of the Mary-el was excellent. It has given me a fresh view in understanding each of the cards...looking forwad to the High Priestess and the 2s.
Finally starting Your Mary-El series .... looking forward to finally sitting down and watching these ... 'SO interesting and thought provoking within ... love it ...
Also, those attributes corresponding with the same iconography: the Angel for Saint Matthew, the Lion for Saint Mark, the Ox for Saint Luke and the Eagle for Saint John.
When I looked at this deck that I own, I look at how each case is filled with the total possibilities of each suit. With the eagle being the Ace of Swords, how I interpret that card, is having the ability to express oneself and being restricted to only that.
I’m revisiting this! This part of the tarot is fascinating and perplexing!! I’m still watching the vid but I had to pause to say this. The order should match up with the given court elements. Because the whole tarot is a system of order and cycles. Everything should match and work as one. I got here because I’m trying to work out which information seems more correct for what element corresponds to which court. It’s so deep and lots of conflicting information out there

Interesting, because scorpio is a watersign, not an air sign, and Aquarious is an airsign, I wonder what that is about?

Very much enjoyed this. I’m not familiar with the Mary-El. so I learned a lot. Thank you.
Deck Harlot Excellent!!! I’m so glad it was useful to you! 🙏❤️🕊
The suit order is also used this way by Jodorowsky in his analysis of the Marseille.

For me It was the same until i saw " understanding the Mary el" by elle of Sacred Seed.
I loved sacred seed. El. Do you know if she's still around? She hasn't made videos in years?
Superb presentation! Thank you (still deciding whether to purchase this deck or not)
Glad it was helpful! ❤️🙏

The way she chose to order the elements is very similar to the main order in the Jewish tradition.
Y = Fire, Hey = Water, Vav = Air, Hey Final = Air.
