    You gotta love Utah. Never heard of this place, but I’ll have to remember it. Loved the eye of the whale and the fingers of death ☠️

      Isn't that the truth! I love the fact that the resources are out there (on the net ) to be made aware of places like this, so close to the iconic features in Arches NP, yet almost unheard of!! A most impressive journey!

    The far flung areas of Arches is where all the magic happens, Especially because one can find solitude in epic landscapes !!!

    Thank you Karl! Love the adventures, youre adding more and more to my bucket list! That bridge looks sweet on the map! Crazy maze for sure. Thats why I love the desert, its very maze like.

      Great to hear that! Truly, for an "unknown" area of Arches it's chock full of some staggering formations that taken together are really mind boggling. A big, full, amazing day in the desert! Thanks, Karl 👍👍

    We were just at Fiery Furnace the other day & watch your videos all the time! Was very exciting to locate Skull Arch there. Tower Arch a "backcountry" favorite too. Have you ever explored any "unpublished" fin areas further north in the park past Dark Angel? From satellite maps it appears there may be potentially some trails out there, and there are clearly interesting formations visible from the top of Primative Loop and from down in the valley.

      These are great suggestions and have been on my radar. I did do a short visit to tower during this trip and will be back to do battle with the extreme areas nearby on Klondike bluffs. Looks tough, not sure I can get past some of it? I look at the fins past Dark Angle, thank you for that! Cheers

    Your blend of music and narration is perfect!
    You pick music that isn’t annoying, which is great !!
    And the production value is amazing for a single man operation

    Loved this one Karl. Such a cool area. So much eye candy every turn you made. I'd get lost in there but it would almost be worth it! Thanks!

      Yes, thanks! It truly IS a geological wonder, out past the usual Arches' more famous, and therefore crowded destinations. Loved this area despite the route finding challenges! Cheers, Karl 👍👍

    I like your videos but you could really use some discretion when giving the location of these areas, show them off but let people do the research to find these areas, this is an untouched place, probably not the best place to have masses go, I hope you understand.

      🤔

    • @KarlDeckerPresents
      @KarlDeckerPresents  11 месяцев назад

      I hear you but for this place, as most I visit, I do not think the “masses’ are going to get much past the whale the eye. The fragile stuff is way in and up there. My channel is so tiny too, I’ll be surprised to get a 1000 views. I did just see Jerry Arizona’s last video hiding the arch hike he did. . .ill think on it more. Happy to chat more if you have ideas/criteria for what to keep quiet. Don’t you think hearty scrambling and tough route finding will be enough?
