The Flowmaster has the best even sound pitch and cleans sound throughout RPM range . Plus the only Mgf. to list 14HP/15TOR gains . Well done Flowmaster . But all sound better than stock .
Ive had several great sounding cars/trucks and my new '24 Colorado - is for sure not one of them. The truck has more than sufficient power and drives very nice but so far none of these CatBacks sound any better than stock. Just louder.
310 Hp and 430 Tq is impressive in this 4 cyl. Really not much savings in gas though at 14mpg. I kept my ZR2 stock because I personally do not hear that much difference from stock imo.
@@cantdriveslohe probably ordered the aluminized cheap MBRP and not the full stainless one. The super cheap one does rust out fast as it's mild steel with an aluminum coating. I just ordered the full stainless MBRP for my Frontier Pro-4X
With a turbo, the potential is huge. With a 91+ octane tune, I bet the 2.7 can potentially make more power and torque than an aftermarket cam swapped 6.2
The Raptor Ranger is better if you live in SoCal and plan on driving really fast on whoopity-doo's. If you live in the Rocky Mountains and, the Colorado ZR2 Bison/ Canyon AT4X AEV is the best midsize truck. Plus the Canyon is the best looking midsize truck on the market.
@@A.J.1656 ehhh....id say the 2022-24 Frontier is the best looking midsizer...but I'm a bit biased there 😂 Can't hang with anything higher then a Z71/AT4, FX4 or a TRD-OR (out of the box that is)
I think its a waste of time , unless your getting better flow increased MPG HP TQ , sell me on that but you cant sell me on this none of them are any good Ill keep stock
This is basically why I bought this truck. Test drove the ranger raptor and noped out of that terrible sound so fast... So fast. Would never even dream of making this loud. If V8 trucks die out, the best case for it is people who can't put exhaust on their trucks anymore.
@@oni-one574I don’t want to make it louder like engine is as loud as I want but I want more turbo noises so intake and blow off I guess is best to do for that
@@Dapper.M235i There's a guy who makes a bunch of cool how to videos, he upgraded his blow off valve. I'd look for Canyon blow off valve upgrades and you can see how that sounded. I still may do that one.
My 1973 F100 with a 360 flowmaster 3-in exhaust sounded much better than that$100,000 piece of GM junk. My old Ford sounded like a Chris craft. At work co-worker with Parkinson's 1500 Chevrolet next to my old ford. Anytime I started that truck next to his Chevy it would set the alarm off on the Chevy and the poor little thing with pee all over itself.😂😂😂😂😂
Will never understand the Truck mentality. Loud mufflers on a Pick Up, SuV is dumbest thing ever. These vehicles are not sports cars nor are they on a track so why make them louder since they’re already huge? Is it a compensational thing with these owners? Motorcycles need to be seen for safety but….just don’t get it.
If you don't get it now then you never will. It's the vehicle of a man's man when it's lifted with an angry exhaust. Plus the same safety element of a motorcycle comes into play with distracted drivers, children and animals with a louder vehicle.
Its annoying how most of these try to hide the turbo spool. Imo I'd rather have more spool and less actual exhaust sound.

Borla and the floater sound the best . But they all sound like fart cans . I love the stock exhaust on my 24 because I don’t hear it 😂
MBRP Street Profile Exhaust sounds the best in my opinion
Will any of these exhausts make the check engine light come on?
AFE sounds closest to stock so that’s a win
Why not just leave the stock then?
To be honest, none of these sound good. I would leave it stock. Save your hard earned money.
I agree Chevy should have kept the v6 they sounded better with the exhaust my 3.7 sounded so good with a flow master super 44
Both your opinions suck IMO. Your 3.7 sounds like ass. Trust me. Get a real engine.
I like the borla, almost sounds like a baby diesel

I'm getting 22 average on my new Denali. Mixed two lane and small towns.
Yea I average 21 mpg, mostly on highways. But I live in Los Angeles, so traffic is terrible everywhere and at all times lol.
I average 14mpg in my zr2 colorido. I didn’t purchase the car for MPG’s but the smiles per gallon I get from it are second to none.
@@SaulGoodmann- I checked my long average today and it was 22.1 on 2700 miles.
No way your getting worse MPG then my 24 Frontier Pro-4X 3.8L V6. I get about 24 highway and seeing 17ish city....also makes 310hp but 281lbft
Borla my 1st selection, MBRP next
Mbrp is such shit quality though
@lee1130fromtwitter Oh really? Can you elaborate as to their "shit" quality?

Something to make the turbo spool louder would be better
ZR2 and AT4X are the 2nd best midsize truck after ranger raptor but there’s just so much you can do with a 4 Cylinder, I hope they go back to V7

Looks like a dmax vs cannon
Go Borla or stay stock ….
Borla sucks.....they are down the street from me.
Sounds like a rice burner.. Fast and Not Furious
If the exhaust system doesnt deliver more hp or fuel economy i could care less then.

@ yeah cause I’m in the same boat I do not what to listen to a 4cyl but I’d like a little more turbo noise to satisfy the needs of a race car haha
If its not a V8 save the money. Unless you want your truck to sound like a ricer.
You can't make a 4-banger sound like a real V8, so why try?
Why do you people always assume people are "trying to sound like a V8"
Nobody over the age of 12 actually thinks that 😂
Best sound upgrade would be buy a full size truck with a v8💯
It’s a 4 cylinder no matter what you do it will sound like crap. Waste of money!
All of them sound terrible because it’s a 4 cylinder!
With double the HP and torque of the V8 350 from the 70s 😂

Where did you get $100k? Did you even look at the video or look up the truck? (I am guessing not)
The truck starts at around $40k and goes to around $55k, i picked up a fully loaded AT4x for $53k
