You’ve become one of my favourite channels. Thank you for another lovely film. I hope you’re recovering well. I’m lucky enough to live on Mull and loved watching your films of your time here. Best wishes.
Hey Nick, so glad you found us. Mull really blew us away. Honestly one of our favourite places we've been around the world. We'd love to spend much longer pedalling around slower. Do you paddle there?
@@joshandsarahride I hope you do return one day soon. Yes, I do kayak here - I love exploring the coastline. If you do visit, let me know and I'd love to take you out for a paddle. I have a spare kayak and I can borrow another, so the three of us could enjoy a wee camping trip. There's so much to see, as you well know. (I have a fledgling RUclips channel too). Best wishes.
@@NickRayLifeAfloat we would absolutely LOVE that. Are you on Insta? Perhaps easier to keep in touch. We were both saying during our trip how incredible it would be to paddle there. The coastline was breathtaking!
I have just discovered your channel and wow! I am pleased I did. What a fantastic video. I used to be like you two but now unable to go out due to illness but this has inspired me to try to walk again and take small steps to a healthier me. I love you both and have watched all your video's . You certainly deserve a new subscriber. Thank you
These vids are stunning and the narration is always on point. Brilliant…: This is what ITV and BBC should be making shows about it would be a hit. Folks love this as do I
Best days out are always the unplanned ones or the ones where you change routes etc. Great video again. Josh, your hours spent editing, are well worth it. You make some of the best videos I've watched on RUclips. Excellent. Stay safe both❤ 🤜🤛
I’ve enjoyed many of your videos of cycling England, Scotland, Ireland and your cottage life. I’m in my senior years with many new aches, pains and not great stamina but I would love to cycle many of these areas that both of you have done in a very relaxed pace though. Thanks again for very enjoyable videos. 15:16
What great adventures you have! So many of us westerners have gone soft from living indoors. We lose tgat close connection with all the marvels (and some of the horrors!) of nature. This feels so peaceful. I hurt my back in spring and have been unable to take long walks along the trail near me and I really miss it. It's such fun to see how things change from one season to the next. Well, as I said before, I'm so glad I found you guys. I love your 'can-do' attitude, and look forward to seeing what's next. And oh boy - those star-filled photos are just gorgeous!❤
I definitely do think we get quite used to comfort. Bike touring has taught us that, some of the best and happiest experiences come when you're the least comfortable!
Hope you have recovered from your surgery okay Josh. Visuals are beautifully captured. Please give Sarah time to talk and reflect - viewers will want to hear from her too - it will make your videos more complete.
Yes feeling a lot better and almost at full strength. Thank you 😁 will be sure to include more of Sarah talking too, I'm often encouraging her to pick up the camera and share her thoughts so will try include more of them
Absolutely brilliant vlogs Live. The dream certainly spurs me on sitting in my little cottage with the wood burning stove ticking over watching your adventures
Enjoyed the video very much! I know for me, sometimes you find the best things when they’re unplanned. Glad you had no I’ll effects from your surgery Josh.
Makes us really happy to hear that. We hope that our videos are enjoyable for showcasing nature and places rather than being just for cyclists. The bikes are just our adventure enablers
@joshandsarahride it's great to watch. Nothing on TV nowadays so to watch normal people doing different things is refreshing. But be careful because as your channel grows, people do become toxic. I have had it during my RUclips time. Keep cycling 👍
@BlueVanMan thank you! And thanke for the words of advice, really enjoying making the videos and connecting with new people. But if course understand with that there can be some down side. I hope the positive will continue to outweigh the negative. We plan to🚵♀️🚵♂️🌏
Just found your channel about a week ago and watched all your videos! Absolutely brilliant content. Sarah, your happiness beams through the screen and I can’t help but smile watching you, Josh your story telling and narration is mesmerising, you’re a poet. Thanks for the awesome content, please keep it coming. Watching from Australia ☀️ (originally from flat east anglia 😂)
Hi Tara, glad you've found us and really glad you like the videos! We're pretty passionate about them so love to heat people enjoy watching them. We too are originally from.fkat east anglia! Looks like we both made a decision to find more interesting landscapes!
Just found you on RUclips. I love the Lake District and we have camped with our children many times there! Being out in nature is a wonderful thing and I am loving being along with your travels there! 💖
Sitting here watching this vid after missing three days of planned bike rides cuz my body isn’t doing what I want it to do, I feel you. Glad you were able to get out and have some different but awesome adventure!
What beautiful views! Thanks for sharing, and though your trip didn't go as planned, that last sunrise was spectacular. First of your videos that I've seen and just subscribed.
Just discovered your channel. Surprised on one of your videos when you got a puncture and pushed your bike. Leave inner tube in tyre. Stuff tyre with grass as tight as you can get it. Then cycle. Wet grass in tyre will lubricate inner tube etc and prevent damage to both tube and tyre. Old cyclist trick I learnt 25miles from home. Do you have. Room for a small campervan on ya property for a couple of nights. Cheers from us old pensioners George and Jane. Happy Adventures. 👫🤠👧
Hey there, hadn't thought of doing that before. We were pretty close but for next time we'll definitely give it a try. 25 miles to push is a good ol' distance!
What an amazing trip … those night skies were just breathtakingly beautiful !!! Clearly the road less travelled but oh what a find !!!!! Many thanks for sharing Durban SA 🇿🇦
Love your channel! Just put my bike in shed for winter, now I have your adventures to watch. WE are lucky in Ontario Canada we have the old rail trails to ride. Very difficult terrain- but absolutely stunning -that you tackle. Best to you both.
Just come across your channel and really enjoying your videos. Extremely good style of video!! Not too twee, and not too crazy outdoor adventury. Just.....normal! Thank you.
I just subscribed to your channel! I love that you're out at your cottage, learning as you go. One and my sons and his wife went on a 2 month bike early on in their marriage. Such a learning experience for thema and bonding, it was just them. I'm glad you're having this lovely opportunity to enjoy your lives together~
Hi just watched your video were you got loads of ticks. To stop the itching and the stinging from bites as well, rub hand sanitizer over the area it stops it . Lesley
I love your videos. Please keep Then coming. Quick question what sleeping bags do you use ? I guess there not massive and bulky as you carry them on the bikes ?
Hey Peter, we did a little Q and A when we reached 1,000 subscribers (it's here on YT). If people would be interested, we could do something similar when we hit 10k?
We really enjoy these adventures especially now that you are in the Lake District. Do you think you will stay there or have you got plans to move on. You guys look fairly settled now. Glad to see you are recovering.
7:39 That was never going to be easy, especially hike-a-biking, ESPECIALLY after your medical procedure. On a bridleway you knew ‘little about’. There’s a fine line between adventurous and foolhardy. Turning back was, in more ways than one, the right choice 👍
Hi really been enjoying watching your Vlog sorry couple crt Sarah needs a mic and josh can you please stop talking over the top of sarah when sarah is talking :)
I just found your channel, and I'm curious about your cottage. Do you know much about its history? I know it's about 300 years old, but do you know who used to live there, etc.? I'm quite interested in Cumbria these days, because half my family came from there originally, and I have a feeling some of them might be buried nearby!!

Three stunning days where I couldn’t get out 😢. Two things I’ve learned if there’s a risk don’t do it and places you want to go will nearly always be there.
Thanks Swampy! Yes, it was over the border but re-planned for next month instead. It's been crazy how regional the weather has been. It's been pretty windy but we've had such little rain compared to regions nearby. Hope your conditions pick up soon!
