Diamond is not hard to achieve. Everyone has this idea that diamonds are all super good players and they definitely aren't lol. Many of them just grind and don't make a bunch of small mistakes like everyone else does.

But if I did get on support I always had decent games with horus. My elo is a little inflated cause i made sure to get bakasura in solo and fuck people over during the crit meta. Idk what imma do now the bonus patch is here.
39:56 if I was Ymir I'd be pissed. Merc is completely alone, he's pinging it and Hebo is just staring at FG, not paying attention to his map or his team communicating with him. Getting a pick off Merc or even just forcing Beads/Ult would've been huge for the next fight. For like a full 15 seconds, Merc is super out of position and Hebo never moves to aggress on it.

@@arniepage1662 well as the original commenter said forcing anything, beads, ult, blink etc. would be huge no matter what. So yes he could live, but what does it cost for the other team to do so. At most he gets a kill, and at least he gets something to make the merc play more passively.

@Arnie Page Still don't matter. Force ult????? Least give it a try instead of starring off for like 45 seconds. Merc was by himself completely and pushed up waaaay too far. Just high level players would never do that.
Id love to see a version of this where the mods set it up much like the guess the smurf, but where you dont know it and see if you can spot the elo hell claim. Odds are you probably could but it would for sure be good content.

NEED! a pre-requisite elo hell software page telling attendees too list what their settings are currently set too. Almost all of them have needed some kind of adjustment. Sensitivity, camera, mk-controller etc maybe have a half dozen things that are most prevalent on a chart and have them list them before the game. Best two videos so far. REALLY REALLY GREAT coaching with the player we love to see it!!!!. Easily the best videos in the series so far.
Interesting video Idea that was kinda mentioned, I have never played ranked myself and I always wondered if I did play what would I end up ranking as. So maybe get like one or two players or however you wanna organize it and make them play against an average rank(whatever that is) and you give them a rank, watch their aggression, mechanics, etc... maybe that would also motivate some more people to hop onto ranked.
I'm really enjoying this type of content w3aken. Keep it coming. I dunno if this has been suggested at all on this vid or others but i would like to see a match between between a team of diamond or maybe high plat console players vs a team of high gold mouse and keyboard players. Put it to the test and see if there is much difference.

46:00 Good rule of thumb for lower mouse sensitivity that lot of FPS pros (and Fineokay) use, is disable Windows mouse acceleration in Control Panel, then lower the mouse sensitivity so that it takes your entire mousepad to do a full 360 turn. Might help this He Bo a lot.

should try and get one of your mods to set up an elo hell video and then you go in and try and pick out the person that’s the odd ball and see if you’re right, might be a decent idea
What’s up! Personally I went from just playing assault and arena to swapping over to casual conquest because of your videos and content. I just grind casuals now but have never stepped into the ranked scene. It’s a little intimidating for me but my all-time winrate is like 53% and I think I’m slightly above average. To be fair I play on NA West which probably means I’m bronze on the East server 😂

32:55 I just got into smite (was a plat/diamond player in Paladins but that game is being ran into the ground so I quit) and I finally hit level 30 so I was excited to play ranked. I didn’t realize I had to have multiple gods at rank 2, I thought I’d just have to own them lol I spent a lot of my time learning the game just mastering a handful of gods. But doing a series like this would be so cool
That idea is a good one! I think there’s going to be alot of people who only play casual and not ranked like myself.. it’s mostly because of how toxic the community is.. I’ve tried ranked maybe twice and it’s always other players telling you how to play and if u make a small mistakes you get shit for it 😅 me an my friends just play for fun here and there we are not trying to play like pros

I’ve been plat in joust and duel and only play conquest casually. I’ve been thinking about focusing more on conquest lately as a solo.
This has been my favorite series of smite I've seen aside from SamDaDudes try hard Thursday.. it's so special to me because a friend of mine one time dropped to almost 400 MMR in S5 or 6. He's usually a 1300-1500 player, low gold (most of our friend group is gold) but he was in the DEPTHS OF HELL. I'd try to play games on his account (we were roommates at the time) and they were just so abysmal. The reason I believe in Elo Hell is because of him. How it happened.. he started the season like 4-18. Ended the season probably around 30-40. But once the game places you it can and at that time was very hard to correct

I just wanted to comment on the mouse sensitivity because it shocked me how low you guys play at. I have my in game sensitivity at 25 which i think is just default and probably why hebo had it too but my DPI is set at 3200 at all times, its the only way my mouse feels comfortable using at and I dont change it at all between different games, I may tweak in game sensitivity sometimes but only just and i cant imagine using anywhere close to 400 DPI and super low in game sensitivity too because how much effort is it to whip around to dodge medusa ult or catch someones blink just seems like that would require too much arm movement and cause more strain. I find minimal mouse movements without moving the hand or wrist very much is easier for me at least and I dont really have the issue of having to think about the placement of the abiltity for a noticeable amount. Im just curious if other people have similar experiences, sorry for the super long winded comment

Would you consider doing a video with people who don’t play casual conquest or ranked? If they are a fan of yours they likely watch conquest videos say they may think they have an understanding of the game. Could be interesting to see the disconnect for people who don’t play conquest but think they are good enough to be a certain rank. You could at least make an ego hell video with them

Hey I was watching this and heard you we’re looking for a casual smite player I’ve played smite sense season 2 and I think I’ve only had 3 ranked games in total I haven’t played a ton this season due to work but I’m a support main and I keep up with the meta as much as possible

Have you ever thought of doing a god break down type series were you play 1 game with the god and brake the kit down how to build them etc like how you did in this video explaining why you don’t like aa on hebo i think the series would pop and get view because I think most people don’t. Know what some hero’s abilities even do like Achilles 2 ik when you play your already do that to some extent but a playlist for it would be great we’re you can go more in-depth over the whole video and get more technical akin to the lil summary you give on smite source about early and late game because I feel most content creator’s stuck to the same 25-40 god pool
Not sure if I “technically” fit the description you’re looking for, I have 320 hours of casual conquest and 18 hours of ranked conquest since I mostly just queue with friends who play like twice a month. I’m currently low silver but definitely a negative win rate (6-14 in ranked) vs casuals (102-93)
I've started playing Conquest casuals a bit more after watching these videos & DoubleJs but I've never played Ranked ever because my anxiety gets to me LOL. Can't wait to see the day someone proves they're in ELO Hell for more content. Good luck yall!
The best advice I can give you for playing ranked is to just ignore your rank. Treat it like a casual game mode that has picks and bans. Mute people who start BMing or being negative and play your best. If you die think about what YOU did that caused the death and focus on getting better and not what your team is doing. Good luck out there!
I'm the same. I just play casual conquest and other casual modes. Life has enough stress and anxiety without getting more from my downtime. I am curious to see what rank I could settle in to though if I committed some time to it.
Now a days I feel like ranked is easier than casuals. I’m sweating so hard in cas trying to have fun. Meanwhile I hit masters pretty quick in joust. But I don’t play much conquest so maybe it’s different there.

I play a ton of casual conquest and never done any ranked, and goddamn I don't think anyone could ever guess their potential rank cause casual is wild. I sometimes get in games with GM players and the very next ones i'll be with Gold or Plat players.
For a few patches now it just seems like way more than half the Solo players go full damage mages/assasins or whatever so there's hardly any frontline (I get it, getting instakilled late game is not the most fun but AA warriors are pretty fun with the Phalanx buffs and if you pair if with animosity you'll get some decent daamage late game) so it doesn't help either 8)
I don't know if I would qualify but I haven't played ranked conquest consistently since like year 3/4 and just recently played a couple so I Def don't have much ranked experience but I have played a lot of casuals, Playstation player
I dont think that Poly is an item that you build every game on Hebo, but i disagree with a lot of what you said about it here, respectfully. Lategame 3-Auto-1 is enough to 100-0 most squishies with poly. I dont think the issue with building it on hebo is that its hard to fit the auto in or his "lack of CC" its that his kit/playstyle is centered around being mobile while doing a lot of burst damage and can get severly punished by self-inflicting the movement speed slow on yourself by autoing between abilities. If you can avoid that or play around it and only use the poly auto when it's not "troll" to do so, and still get enough value out of it, that extra burst can mean you hardly need your ult for kill confirm. At least on most squishies, and then your ult can be used more for mobility, safety, and engage/disengage when needed. Again not saying poly should be built on hebo every single game, but its 100% not as bad as you're saying it is. I've even seen adapting, among others, build it in the right situations. Just my two cents. Thanks for the great content!
Soul gem and soul reaver are more damage on he bo with his short cooldowns. Poly just isn't good.
Last ranked conquest I played was when Tiamat was released. I don't really play a lot of conquest since I hate solo-queing it. I deal with enough toxcicity from my day job to listen to people bitch about how their own mistake isn't their fault.
I'd love to participate in the casual conquest :) I've played about 200hours casual since Beta played ranked maybe 3 games in season 4or 5 haven't even gotten my rank :D

What if you did an ELO hell video where you dont know the rank (have your mods set it up) Then at the end of the video you have to say what rank you think they are in.

@@snowbeast074 Except the lobbies would be set up for Elo hell. So the person he is spectating could be fighting 900+ higher mmr. That would in my opinion make guessing the rank harder.
He could even try and guess the quality of the lobbies. Try and guess their rank and the rank of the lobbie by seeing the other people
if he pressed it twice to wouldve been 1200 that he is at plus most mice have a software they are compatible with that can tell him the numbers

He did better than I expected but he was only playing off his team and it seemed delayed each time. It didn’t feel like he actually made any plays

That would be pointless. Even when one of them plays better than the other, that wouldn't prove that they are skilled enough to be placed in a higher rank. It would just show that they play better than other people in their rank. The whole point of having the "elo hell" player play against a higher ranked player is to have a baseline for comparison.

I play conquest casual and never ranked casual because I play on Oceania servers which don't have enough players any more to find even casual games sometimes 😂

Idk if you’ll see this but what you should do is tell someone you’re going to let them play in an elo hell match and make it seem like someone else is the main focus and tell the guy you’re actually gonna be doing that if he plays well enough you’ll do an elo hell video for him that way they can’t use the nerves excuse. That’s one way to eliminate that factor for at least one match

I would 100% agree with everything W3aken said. He basically just let his team win for him and just went along for the ride. The zero ganks and lowest damage is evidence enough. Honestly the enemy team players should be looked at for being higher than they should. They got crushed.
Im a former Ranked Joust main (carried myself from 800 Bronze III to 1800 Plat 4, and my friends who were 600/400 MMR Bronze 4/5 to 1500/1200 Gold 5/Silver 3). i havent touched ranked conquest simply because the time suck on casual is annoying enough. but im not dealing with banning phase just for some emotionally unbalanced man child wants to rage and either int or throw.
