When I was a child, in the fifties, our school dental nurse made dolls like this from a gauze square and oblong cotton wool swabs. She gave one to each child after their appointments and told us they were little angels..

Thank you Annie for your video and company. These little morsels are so cute. It reminds me of many many years ago when I was little my mum and I made pipe cleaner dolls. I dressed them with tiny scraps of fabric. Clever mum got me sewing ,recycling and using imagination. Mind you there were no mobile phones, 3 channel on the tv and no web, unless you count the spiders.😂

Ahh they look like so much fun, I had a tiny bag of worry dolls years ago, I probably still have somewhere 🤔😁 I made a little patchwork samosa, it wasn't perfect, but great for carrying a small selection of meds in my bag 💊👜 Can't wait to see the tealight pots, I feel the guilt throwing things into the bin too. 😊🌾🤗🌈

The poppets are super sweet - love what you’ve done to decorate them, but I agree, I love the basic ones ❤️

Aww I love these poppets, so cute. We have Matariki coming up and my art group is doing a big long collage that will go in our local library run the length of a few windows. Think I will make a few of these we can place as people would look so cool. I’m also doing a small slow stitch square and wanted to do a little child playing with pou’s with bits of gold coming of then a few stars, yep so gonna make a poppet child aww very 3D. Right I’m of that’s all such a great video.

I made a wool wrap doll a while ago, a fairy. I loved dressing her up too. Good idea to cover a bead with fabric for the faces. The silk wrap reminded me of a macrame knot, I'd 4gotten all about it. Cute little dolls, they're very fiddly and tiny. I fi d the faces difficult to do. I'm now watching all your Bazaar vids, new subcriber.

Hi Sandra, welcome and thanks for subbing :) Ah yes I love the wool-wrapped dolls too, and peg dolls. They are very fiddly at this size, but I do prefer the look of the ones without faces anyway. The traditional Guatemalan ones are very simple stitched features, really just three lines, but very effective. Please feel free to share some pics of your wool wrap doll or any other creations in our Discord or Facebook group, links are in the description if you haven't joined yet xo

How adorable those dolls are! I already love the raw prototypes, but how endless many variations to play with! Not to mention the lovely "good wishes" idea to make people smile.
I also enjoyed your little project preview and look very much forward.
Your camera issue surely will work out well asap. Have a lovely night or a good start into your new day! Thank you for sharing this sweet idea.

LOVE these friendship dolls!! Had a few good laughs as you were working with the legs😂 but turned out really sweet. You are blessed with endless creative ideas💞. Thoroughly enjoyed this video and looking forward to the upcoming ones. Thank you!🥰

I love the idea behind these little dolls. And I like that the scrap packs are now coming wrapped in fabric or a fabric bag. More companies need to reduce their packaging. Oh, I like the smaller size for the knot bag. Looking forward to that video! Thanks for the silk wrap tutorial. The Amish leave the dolls they make for their children without faces for religious reasons but I think that adds to their charm. 😊

I'm so sorry, that must be really frustrating for you - I have lots more scrap-busting projects coming up, most of them much less fiddly than this one, so hopefully there will be something you will be able to enjoy, meanwhile, thank you so much for watching anyway and taking the time to leave a nice comment, I really appreciate it xo

I think if you make one Lesley, tell her what you need to hear, and every time you pick her up, she will whisper it back to you. I love that idea. I've been trying out a slightly different method with them and want to see if I can do a seriously tiny one, so I'll probably do another video soon. Please share some pics if you make some, you know I love to see what other people do with these ideas :)
