Oh sis.... I so needed this video yesterday! I went to my first NP interview and I was asked the same question... how much are you looking to make? I had ask people but it’s like a Taboo to discuss money so I didn’t really get a straight answer... the MD low balled me 😣 I haven’t signed contracts or anything so I might negotiate. He did mention bonus structure if seeing an X amount of patients!! I love your honesty and videos!! Keep them coming! Stay safe! ❤️

So sorry love, I do hope you can negotiate some terms. I also want to add that if the low ball is $5000/yr in retrospect its not so bad, looking back I told myself I would take a low all of that amount bc I knew how hard it was to find the job. Definitely up to you, also I know how some NP's are with disclosing money, I was lucky bc my friends and I tell the amount down to the cents 😂. I am glad he told you about the bonus stuff bc some of them try to play us. Good luck my dear! Thanks for watching!

What are your thoughts on SNF pay per patient versus salaried?

Hi, how are you? I have a question. I recently got a job contract in primary care. They offered only 4 sick days in a year and 2 weeks vacation time for first 2 year.Currently in the hospital where I work , 11-12 sick days and 4 week vacation per year. How many sick days and vacation do you get in your practice setting? Just anxious about my new contract..🤨

I work for a physician I get 3 weeks a year paid vacation, no special sick time but If I am sick I do not work and it has never count against me! Good luck to you
