The interior of the 1964 Impala is the most beautiful blue that I've ever seen. Amazing what a little cleaning up can do to a car. I love your 59 collection as well, it's one of my favourite 1950's cars, as it's one year younger than me.
i don't think i blinked once throughout your entire vid, lol i am mesmerized. huge huge huge GM fan and owner here. growing up we always had GMs, my grandad always had GMs as well. my first memory is our '58 Impala with the trailer hitch - we pulled our torquoise and white little trailer out to the lake each summer with that car. then we had a '62. then a '68. then a '69. and so on. our neighbours across the street had a copper-coloured '59 Biscayne 4-door with the huge pillars and a straight six, with three on the tree. it was beautiful but sucked wind, haha. Grandad had a '59 Pontiac Laurentian. then a '64 Chev Bel Air. and so on. i've had Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs and GM trucks. currently my 1975 Chev Caprice classic - convertible - is getting a ground up resto. should be ready for paint soon then a new top and interior. awesome vid. huge thumbs up.
I have a soft spot in my heart for a 59 Chevy, wagon or otherwise. My family had a 59 wagon and when I started driving I got it. I LOVED that car... still do. Never get rid of yours. I also had a 63 and a 64 Impala.
Ryan My Dad had a 59. After I was born, I was brought home from the hospital in a white 2 door 59, so it was my first ride in a vehicle. Maybe that's why I like them, plus I remember my Dad going fast and we had some old 8mm home movies 🎬 of it. My Dad is gone, so pretty much all I have is some hub caps that came on the 59. A badge of the twin flags one checker on the right, and the Impala on the left never used. Thank you for sharing your treasure Someday, I ll have a 59 Darrin Peterson
When I was a kid (if you were a Chevy guy) you wanted a 55-57 Bel Air or a 62-64 Impala. In South Dakota I never saw a 58 Impala and the 59-61 Impala's were totally bypassed. I am sure a large number of 59-61 Chevys that were in good shape just got scrapped. My grandfather bought a new 59 Impala (yellow and green) 4-door. I have great memories of that car. Glad to see you are able to keep some of the 59's that are now far and few (and expensive). The blue interior really stands out on that 64. Enjoy all your episodes. Thanks.
Fantastic 59 collection. My favorite was the first 59 convertible you showed. I can hardly wait to see it fixed up to its original glory as you did with the first 59 you showed us. Beautiful collection.
Nice 64 Impala Ryan, my brother had a 64 Biscayne in the mid sixties. It had a 283 with a three on the tree, those were the days. Thank you for sharing.
Your first '59 is definitely the belle of the ball. Of all the Bel Aire / Impala iterations, I share your love affair with the 1959's. Thanks for sharing!
The red racoon Impala was the same color as my grandpa's '59 which was the first car I drove in 1971 at the age of 11. I drove it down the cow pasture to pick up wood for the kitchen stove . My pop and older brothers were in the car and we took turns. The car had a six with the powerglide and the odometer had rolled over twice.
Super 59 chevy tour. When I was a little kid; our neighbor would take my mom and I shopping in a dark blue 59 Brookwood. It was about 5 years old at the time.
I love the 59's. I had one in the late 60's with the 348 tri power and a 3 speed on the floor. Went in the Army in 1968 and my parents sold the car when I went overseas. Still miss that car until this day.
that is one hell of a collection of 59's. it's great to see a young man with such passion for his vehicles Keep up the great work Ryan I've enjoyed your videos butthis video is special and truly shows your passion for a particular make and model.
Thanks for bringing us your '59 Impala's! You've got quite a good cross section of them. Would like to see your Belair's and Biscayne's accompanying them. And maybe one day an El Camino!
Nice collection of 59 Chevrolets! Keep collecting them! The convertible will be a very valuable car when finished! 64 is a very nice survivor car, glad to see it will live on with a new owner! Take care Ryan.
Cool collection of 59s. I am not a chevy person but my Dad had a 59 El Camino, black with silver interior. It also had the GM cool pack AC mounted on the hump that he removed within days of buying it in the mid 60s. Then 1966 my brother's first car was a 59 two door Impala without a post. It was in immaculate condition light blue with blue vinyl interior. Had the 283 and power glide. Unfortunately he hit a patch of ice and it slid sideways into a tree. My first sort-of girl friend had a turquoise 4 door 59 sedan. Finally, a neighbor lady had a grey 4 door sedan but I don't remember if it was an Impala. She called one day and had run out of fuel. I got on my Yamaha 60 (I was 14 at the time) and took some gas and primed the carb and put about a gallon in so she could make it to the nearest gas station. So I don't need to buy a 59 Chevy because I've been exposed to plenty of them over the years. Good luck with your collection. They do not have to be show cars. I have the most fun with cars that I can look at and drive and also not worry about going to Walmart or Target parking lots. The most spectacular of yours when you have the time and money to fix might be the coral two door hardtop. Take care

Your beautiful black coupe with the worn steering wheel reminds me of a story. A gentleman went to a city (let’s call it New York) and the 59 ish Chevy taxi that picked him up was yellow (I know, shocker, right) with a brown interior but had a blue steering wheel. The driver explained that GM paid them to test the steering wheels for wear. The 54-57 wheels did not wear at all… What GM was trying to do was time the hard cover to wear through to the annoying black rubber that would get all over your hands at about 80,000 miles, to further ensure they would buy a new Chevy. The dealer would install a new $15 steering wheel and put it on the line.
Thanks for sharing your rare cars! Do you ever run across any '59 or '60 El Caminos? Those are my favorite vehicles I would love to own. When I was a kid around the summer of 1970 my Dad brought home a '59 Elkie in pieces and a donor '59 wrecked Bel Air for the motor and re-built the Elkie in the backyard. Oh my, that 59 Brookwood 2 door wagon! We had one in 1960 to 1966. White, with 6 cylinder power glide. I don't know if it had power steering. So many family adventures! I have some great photos! I suggest that you get to restoration of that car promptly. Maybe consider changing motor to a 348 tri power? Or 283? But original would be just as fine. Do you have a 1959 hardtop (4 door no post) to complete the collection? Or El Camino?
That’s a stellar row of 59s bud. You need to win the lottery so you can restore them.
fingers crossed
I never saw anyone detail the interior of a car missing half of it’s windshield. That’s enthusiasm!
Its parked inside and a new windshield is on the way, so why not clean it out? Do the best with what you have available.

I really do enjoy your videos Ryan, especially all your ‘59s. My great aunt had a ‘59 Impala 2 dr hdtp, light green with matching interior. Sure wish I had that car today. It was a beauty! I’ve never seen another one in that color. Keep up the good work Ryan!
I’d also like to add that it’s so nice to see a young man such as yourself have the passion for older cars like you do! 👍
Glad you like them!
I'm Happy for the 64 she's a beauty, I really like the 59 wagon I hope you get started on it soon. The 67 Impala is Sweetheart also. Great Video as always Ryan Till next time My Friend.
thanks rob!
Damn wish I had one of those 59 verts thanks for sharing
thanks for watching!
Awesome car! I’m in NZ, i’ll have to keep a look out for it!
definitely!
Nice! Yes id like to find a black 4dr ht or elcamino too
Awesomeness galore!
thanks Johan!
Love your first car beautiful interior
Thank you!
A carpet cleaner with a hose and brush attachment does wonders for dirty seats and interior parts.
oh good idea
A kiwi is getting a great car! Those guys are as big of car nuts as we are here. It will be taken care of. Good luck
