@@hotdogs8170 It's pretty simple, while I love jRPGs, a vast majority still to a pretty rigid DQ like structure. And while I enjoy DQ games, they don't completely fulfill me. FF13 is a game that delivers a pretty amazing combat system. And while I understand the complaints people have about the series, I personal felt the linearity enhanced the story of the game. I also pretty much loved every character save Vanille but even then she's redeemed. The story is just so focused and vibes will with my personal philosophies. While I like XIII-2, it's being a less focused more free adventure kinda took away from how much weight I felt in the first game. Also didn't like the Pokemon system at all, kinda hurt the game a lot for me not having more human party members you can use for frequently. And I also love LR, but it's not really comparable to the first two games, it's more a Majora's Mask like spin-off/conclusion to the story.
@@snazzydrew Yeah, the FF 13 combat system is fantastic. I wish Square Enix would have used it for more than the FF 13 trilogy. Yes, the linearity does enhance the story. I saw that in FF 7 Remake. One the worst final fantasy I've ever played beside cristal chronicles hd remaster
Thats what makes the FF series so fantastic, theres something for everyone!!!
Anyone that defends ff13 I gotta look at with intrigue I am by no means a ff13 lover that shit did a lot of cringe shit like the infinite hallways and vague terms and phrases but it is a good game and it’s definitely final fantasy the story’s rly good and I may have been tweaking on the gameplay (aside from leader death mechanic wtf is that square) so I gots lots of respect for the ardent fans that always stood beside ff13 ff8 your audacity is admirable
No im but heart that 13 was the world to get a trilogy like 8 needs help with it’s junction system got mans drawing like an addict or ff9 sequel would literally save planet earth and end all wars and disparities lol
Im short yall are paladins for standing by your games back when our hate was thick!
Hey all gamers have a hot take favorite game but real gamers stand by it haha
