I needed to know your opinion. It feels right in my heart to hear a you speak on how you a Pastor can lead with the KJV yet open to cross reference to better understand. This feels right to me with the Holy Spirit helping to interpret the multi 5:54 phonic meanings in the WORD. Thank you Pastor Sholto.

I absolutely love your videos. I’m glad that I found them recently. You’re such a blessing. I went to Bible college and I was told that then NIV version is missing 200+ Bible verses I know for a fact when the disciples came to Jesus and said that they couldn’t drive out of demon. Jesus advised them that some require prayer and fasting When I looked up that verse in the NIV the words and fasting were missing that was kind of the point of the sentence is the story in fact, so I know that I stick with the king James to get the whole message. Much love here in Central Pennsylvania enjoying your videos thoroughly❤

Yip, very true and why I like the KJV and NKJV. Lots of powerful scriptures especially regarding the Trinity are gone in newer translations.

The text underlying the King James Bible comes from Antioch in Syria, where we were first called Christians (Acts 11:26). 1 Peter 1:23-25 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. (King James Bible). I am an ex-catholic, and the 'new king james bible' comes straight from the Vatican, which leads straight back to Egypt, which is where God freed the children of Israel from. Egypt is a place of bondage and slavery and is a type of the world. All the false modern bibles come from the vatican and have their source directly in Alexandria Egpyt. The King James Bible is God's Perfect, Preserved and Inspired Word. Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. (King James Bible)

Howdy from Texas! Love your messages! I read from KJV and have been looking up on Bible Gateway the Geneva 1599 Bible-it’s so interesting and different. Bible Gateway gives explanations in the Geneva Bible on some verse by verse what it’s saying. I do have a NKJV too. Great references. Thank you Sholto for your passion for the Lord and mission to reach the lost. Praying for you and your ministry. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Dear Sholto!!! I have to tell you this, I've recently started tithing and giving and I felt led to give to you. The main reason is because of the fact you hand out Bibles to as many people as you can! The second reason is because I get so much blessing and encouragement from listening to you everyday! 😁
I gave to you about and hour ago... You posted this an hour ago... And I didnt know about it till right now. I've only just listened to it, and when you said you were running low on Bibles, it was like God was confirming my seed was sown in good ground at the right time, for the right reason!! Such confirmation for me too! God just blows me away! How awesome is He!!! ❤🎉
Oh and P.S my main Bible is NKJV and I have a spare KJV. For the exact same reasons as you stated. The olde' English is difficult. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR MINISTRY AND FAMILY, 🙏✝️❤️ X

I saw your donation come through and it was perfectly in time as usual. God is incredible with the way He works. That is also why we don't harp on donations or ask for funds in this ministry. We share what we are doing and God always supplies exactly what is needed, when its needed. He is awesome. Thank you again for listening to the Holy Spirit and being part of the work.

I agree Pastor. I sometimes compare versions to give the bigger full picture.. My main go to is my KJB also, various stickers, messages, & coloured highlighters throughout, well used. Just one verse eg here alone, gives so much more depth from comparing KJV & ESV. Re our Husband/Goodman (Jesus) returning on the appointed time = meaning on a Full Moon 🌕📯..
Proverbs 7v19-20 (kjv) "For the GOODMAN is not at home, he is gone a long journey: He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at The Day Appointed". In the esv version, FULL MOON is the Appointed Day when He (Jesus) comes home: Strongs Hebrew 3677 = Full Moon. kece', keh'-seh; or keceh, keh'-seh; from 3680; properly, fulness or the full moon, i.e. its festival:- (time) appointed.
Kesse or Keseh 'Full Moon' new moon or full moon on a feast day.. Proverbs 7v19-20 (esv) "For my HUSBAND is not at home; he has gone on a long journey; he took a bag of money with him; at FULL MOON he will come HOME" 🤵 The Day our Bridegroom comes for His BRIDE/WIFE. 👰🌕.. Next Full Wolf Moon is a Supermoon, expected Jan 13th, I'm extra vigilant every FM ❤. Love & Blessings to You & our family in Christ. Appreciate your diligence 😊..

I don’t think anyone is doomed because they don’t read KJV or anything… but I do believe the KJV is perfect. It’s taken me a few years to really think about it. I realised I was treating it as the final authority but not admitting it was. And I study Hebrew etc. And I’ve noticed the enemy fears the KjV like no other. The Satanists always attack it not the other Bibles. It is the Book that transformed the World and is the Word of God in the universal end times language. I would recommend KJV to anyone first, it’s not that difficult when you learn a few words. It’s grammatically super tight it astounds me. I don’t know if that makes me KJV only. I don’t attack others just how I feel. I don’t think it ever needed modernising.

The King James Bible is God's Perfect, Preserved and Inspired Word. You need to separate from people who deny the truth of God's word. It is written. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (King James Bible)

I respect any brother who still regards the KJV or NKJV as good translations. We had a "former" pastor who held mainly to the NIV and stated the KJV was a bad translation altogether and should be avoided just because he was told by his professors it was bad, no other explanation given.

My old friend was like this panicked when I took a bible out it was kjv as that's what I'm used to and first version I was blessed to be given, unfortunately the friendship did not work out just one of those things. She was very KJV only nothing else. I have an amp one as well I use now and again. I have small Gideon ones as well, nice to carry in my bag if out and about and want to go read.

The KJV does a great job of pointing to the deity of Christ and His finished work on the cross. The KJV puts emphasis on the blood of Jesus. It was authorized by King James in 1611. The translators used pure source texts.

Thank you Sholto for such well balanced handling of this “hot potato”! Although my main translation is the KJV, my wife uses the NKJV, which I also refer to, as well as other reliable translations and of course the original Hebrew and Greek. The increasing number of folk who believe the KJV is perfect is concerning. Although there are other ways to show that it is not perfect, one of the simplest is surely its use of the word “church” to translate the Greek “ekklesia”. I highly recommend looking into the origin of the English word “church”. It is certainly not an accurate translation; “assembly” or “congregation” would be far more accurate. It would surely be hard to overstate the spiritual mischief that can be traced to the use of the word “church”. Shalom.

The Lord clarify your understanding and keep you. Yes the Lord works in spite of us so it is a journey indeed and we as parts of the body can inform other parts and visa-versa.
To say Gods word is not perfect in every jot and tittle is not congruent with basic knowledge of what the scripture teaches us.
Gods word is refined like silver seven times and we are held accountable for those perfect words which I now know to be the King James bible - Authorized version.
No legalism here just pointing out truth which seems to offend and forgive me is any offense is taken but what The Word has done is beyond our
little faith to grasp and that is what I am trying to point out. He, the Lord is much more wonderful than we can imagine and coming to knowledge of God the Father not
only saying His word is perfect but finding it in this vexing world was a balm to my soul.
Blessing in Christ Jesus from your brother in Christ.

It is written. 2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (King James Bible). So what is this power they deny? Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (King James Bible). John 8:47 “He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” (King James Bible)

I know a couple of people who claim the KJV is the only Bible. And they do tell you it’s the only way. I do not agree. I believe the Lord can and will use anything He chooses to draw you to Him. Thank you for covering this.
