Someone told me that the fact that you return to toad hall to exit represents returning from hell and that it really ends in toad hall not hell-although I never thought of that
The entire explosion room has been repainted but not all will notice because of the flashes. The little “souls” flame was not working when I went. You almost caught it but when the officer yells “STOP”, a flashlight that another officer is holding will shine, but you have to look up to see them. The Lady Justice image is newly repainted as well as the bricks in the town square. Some chimney sweeper was retouched with a new coat of paint and the queue got a lighting upgrade. As for the hell flame with the “souls”, maybe it’s still not ready, but that pie guy needs a paint touch up.
many things got touched up and repainted, most of the effects used to be broken and they’ve been mostly fixed as well as audio problems and enhanced lighting. some of the townsmen in the town square scene got repainted and it was very obvious to me the first time i ever saw it post refurb. also the scaffolding scene is completely fixed. its a lot more noticeable as a huge fan of the ride like myself lol

@@TackyFlamingoThought Mr.Toad to be honest was going to get the same treatment like Alice, and Snow White with projections, and adding the actual Mr. Toad in the attraction.
Fun Fact: The original plan for a Mr. Toad ride was to make it a roller coaster, but Walt Disney didn’t want any thrill rides so they turned it into a dark ride instead.
I can't get over the fact that Mr Toad literally DIES and go to HELL in a DISNEY RIDE lol
Especially since that NEVER happened in the movie or the source material (as far as I can tell)!
@@knightofarkronia9968 and the fact that Walt himself approved this makes it even weirder
It’s really funny lmao

i agree about the pie guy. he does feel kind of out a place against the rest of the repainted sets
bruh ive ridden this ride since i was 4 years old and i never noticed those cops up there
1:19 So they took the water out of the fountain for the refurb. 1:51 no smoke effects in hell. More like a defurbishment, eh?
If you look carefully, you can see that the water effect is still there, the water is just not as blue
I went today and there was smoke
Yes. There is still water. I don’t recall about the smoke
so they made it slightly slower?? (and touched up some moving parts)
The post refurbishment looks a lot cleaner and more Crisp
Did they take down the scrim on the exterior?
00:39 STOP. HALT!
Nice, thanks!!
What was changed?
So what’s the change? I don’t see one
Very minor things, lighting adjustments, some effects that used to not move were fixed, and what seems like a slight speed change
I don't see a difference 😕

Not too much refurbished but it's good to see the wall opening.
I see nothing in comparison to both sides.
The only thing I noticed is a character's shirt was changed from purple to red.
@@Nico-yi2bi hardly relevant to refilm the ride

👍
It is a good refurbish but they could of made a rollercoaster out of this

The space doesn’t look that big for a fast ride

@@TheLostBoysGirls yes yes I agree and this ride is still the best too
I don’t really see so much refurbishment
