@@andrejlee that can be tough, sometimes I struggle with loving certain people also. It helps to remember that it’s not the person that is being unlovable, but the evil spirits influencing and operating through them. 🙏
The Bible says God ordained marriage, and I agree. My question is; if two unbelievers get married and were in the throws of sin before and during the marriage…did God truly ordained the marriage consummated in sin? And if one of the spouse becomes a believer but the other refuses to, is the believer now bound to that unbeliever for life? Is that believer not allowed to experience what it truly is to be in a marriage wholly committed to God? The believer can’t enjoy or participate in the things other Christian couples share together?? If the believer sinned in that conssumation, is said believer now bound to live half a Christian life?!!
@@voiceoftruth9358 so this is what happened to me, two unbelievers get married, one (myself) becomes a fully devoted believer, husband goes along with it but not really in it. So I prayed I fasted I preached, to no avail. I had figured it was a thorn in my flesh to bear because of the scriptures re divorce and the unbeliever willing to stay. It was miserable, I left without asking God but later found my confirmation that the marriage was not His will. And have seen so many blessings since leaving. There’s so much more I could say, but don’t want to ramble on. I think each marriage needs to be taken before the Lord because it could be His will that two unbelievers come together and through that marriage they both turn to Him, consider what Paul says about that. It comes down to what God says, someone has to be seeking the Lord for confirmation. I hope this helps.

No. God didn't send my father's second wife--the one who helped destroy my parents' marriage and break up my family. My father and her had an affair and my family was broken. The marriage between this cruel homewrecker and my dad was not ordained by God.
@@Areutherehello I’m sorry to hear that! I’m just curious though, were you able to see any fruit from your father’s second marriage? Were him and his second wife following the Lord? Or are they now?
I don't think getting married and divorced before being saved counts you out. Ask God what He has for you. I heard from someone, that if we have the desire for marriage then it's His will for us, He puts that desire in us. God bless you in your journey!
It can be difficult to know for sure, but what I have read in scripture is to stay married to an unbeliever if they are willing to stay. But I am wondering if abuse is involved, if that is them choosing to not keep their end of the commitment and if that frees us to get divorced because of that being they "left" if they choose to keep hurting us.
I agree, it can be difficult knowing for sure, and it can possibly take years to come to that knowledge. I stood by that scripture about staying married to an unbeliever if they chose to stay, but his heart wasn't repentant, emotional and financial abuse are abandonment too, just not physically. I think it really comes down to what God reveals to us, but it's not His will that we suffer abuse, a separation may be necessary in the meantime.🙏🙏🙏
God is love and that in itself is proof that He has nothing to do with most marriages which have nothing to do with love. God recognised that Adam needed a helper, but He apparently does not recognise a similar need in many good men, who are subjected to constant humiliation and disrespect. The Church urgently needs a new sacrament to set free all the spouses who are misused, exploited and humiliated.
@@perbondesen I agree. Thank you for sharing. There’s just as much abuse happening to men as there is to women. The Book of Tobit is a masterpiece in marriage verses and confirmation. For those who recognize the book anyway.
@@regis_red thank you for the suggestion! I’ll look into it 🤍
I divorced years ago. My 2nd wife passed in 21 after 10 years together. I’m 47 and praying God will send the right one once again to serve beside in the kingdom work. I need someone who has commonalities with me, and who loves Christ as much as i do, even more. God bless you. I love this video. I am trying to get to the place where i know Christ is enough for me but i’m also praying specific prayers of the one God will send for me. Fasting and prayer for this coming year to bring great blessings and open big doors for His kingdom work!
@@shaydame0777 I’m so sorry to hear about your 2nd wife’s passing, I can’t even imagine that pain. But what a testimony of your love for Christ to continue striving and desiring Him first and foremost, He will reward your faithfulness! I really feel this, trying to get to the place where He is enough but also praying and warring in the spirit for the one He has for me. It’s definitely not easy, but we have to keep Him first in our hearts. I’m praying for you brother! 🙏🤍
@ Thank you so very much! That means the world to me. You’re right, it def isn’t easy, esp battling against loneliness, sadness, the world, but i know that the suffering and discipline of it all will temper us like steel being made into great swords so that we may be our best in this great battle. I will pray for you also. He will never leave us nor forsake us! 🙏🏼
@@shaydame0777 Amen and Amen! I felt that, iron sharpens iron. I keep thinking how strong and courageous and full of the spirit of Lord those of us who’ve been waiting and contending in the faith will be when the time is right. But definitely agree, the loneliness and sadness that hits at times is the worst, I’m thankful that God is our comforter in times of need, the weapon of loneliness and sadness may form but it won’t prosper in the name of Jesus! Thank you for your prayers as well. May we see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living 🙏🔥
@ Yes, Amen! I am praying for a great revival in this land. I can see it already. Our times will come when we see victories over our struggles and the sadnesses. Then when the next trials move in, we’ll be even stronger in the Word and Spirit to battle those. God is so good! And it is my honor to lift up and pray over you and all of your family and connections. We are the body!
@ Amen, you’re so right about rising up and our need for each other. It’s not good for us to be alone, not just meant for marriages. We are social and creative beings. Jesus bless you my brother! 🙏🙏🙏
Very true! Yet, we are living in a dark world, as individuals bent away from God. Free wil, fleshly desires and a world of temptations swirls around us, making decisions difficult and clouding our judgement. Also, society covets self centeredness and the pursuit of happiness or instant gratification, which causes marriages to dissolve quickly. As Jesus taught us, life is difficult and filled with suffering, making the path to follow Him not an easy one. Divorce has touched my life and made it a painful experience. My hope for you is that your faith , strengthens you and allows you to not close your heart to new possibilities. 🙏
@@bluewaters2829 I completely agree, society and the world just adds to the difficulty of already trying to deny our flesh, they tell and show us so many things that are contrary to the word of God. I’m sorry to hear divorce has touched your life and caused you pain, I will pray for your heart and mind, for your comfort, peace and God’s perfect will from here on out. @Rickard-e4m good reminder for those who are unmarried, no excuses for not giving our all to the Lord. He is enough, a godly marriage is a bonus. Thank you for sharing 🙏
i'm 43 & i'm tired waiting for god giving a spouse. Since my 20th i fell in love twice, neither one worked out. Now i'm in love for the 3rd time, but i guess god still doesn't let me getting maried. Can't wait anymore, patience is running out, hope is dying
It can seem like He isn't letting you get married, and we think in our limited understanding that because we are a certain age it isn't coming..but God knows the best time to bring your marriage together. Could be something you or your future spouse still needs to learn or be delivered from. Keep seeking God and putting Him first, then He will give you the desires of your heart. Don't give up! Praying for you 🙏
@@DarcyRie thank you🥹
yeah, i know, i need to learn to forgive & to love enemies...
@@andrejlee that can be tough, sometimes I struggle with loving certain people also. It helps to remember that it’s not the person that is being unlovable, but the evil spirits influencing and operating through them. 🙏
@@DarcyRie i think, in most cases it's person's responsibility, cause not all people are possessed by evil spirits, isn't it?🤔
I am 47. You described me in short. I did everything as God asked, nothing
Most definitely 😊

I want to believe but after 3 failed relationships my life is destroyed & i can't take one more bit of pain & loss...had total peace in my spirit about the last one
@@RobertMclaren68 I understand that completely, but if God sends you the right one I pray you take that risk one last time 🙏
@DarcyRie Thanks. I won't deliberately avoid it. I'm absolutely certain God put us together to get us both back on track with Him but the enemy didn't want us to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus and have a successful marriage/ministry like you describe. We've been apart for over a year & I hate how so often people think seeking someone better is the solution...where's the power of God & glory in that? There's so much destruction in breaking up. I totally want Gods will tho...🙏✝️
@@RobertMclaren68 amen! You may just be in a season of separation with this person and like you said, to grow closer to God individually and also to heal. I definitely agree the enemy doesn’t want marriages coming together in which he sees they will glorify God. In regards to finding someone new I think we need discernment and a word of confirmation from the Lord, sometimes what God has for us won’t look like it from the natural perspective, so instead of standing and fighting in prayer and doing the hard work people are quick to move on. God bless you and your journey in marriage! Thank you for sharing!

I don't think getting married and divorced before being saved counts you out. Ask God what He has for you. I heard from someone, that if we have the desire for marriage then it's His will for us, He puts that desire in us. God bless you in your journey!
@DarcyRie thank you for responding back to my question!!!
@@EarlRoark you’re very welcome! I hope that you would ask God though and not take any persons word 🙏🤍 Jesus bless you!

Those who married wrongly based on deception from one party what should the deceived do if they discover later inside marriage?
