I’ve been a Christian my whole life but struggled to believe that he was Good and Loving because of these video thumbnails that would say things like “God is disgusted with you” OR “Goodbye my child if you scroll past” So I became an Agnostic and really questioned the existence of God to a point of “I don’t know if there is a God, and that is not the kind of God I want to serve, so I don’t care enough to find out and it’s not worth searching for answers if he really is Sadistic and spiteful.” I was like this for about a year and a half until I re-watched the passion of the Christ, and it moved me to tears and convinced me that God must truly be good if he loved us that much. So I’m trying to re-dedicate my life to Christ

Jesus didn’t condemn him for his doubts, but instead, let him touch his hands and side, but he said, blessed are those who do not have to have proof or see, but have faith. May we fill those doubts with faith and hope in the Lord! When facing confusion, pray, even fast, and dwell in the word fully.

A lot of insight in this video. Struggle with this lately been listening to feel good videos. It does give false hope sometimes. It does help you just get to the next day sometimes. I think we all just need to be in are bibles more. Crazy how we are experiencing the same things. Thank you for what you do. You are very much appreciated.

I do find it interesting how so many can be going through the same things at once, but there are billions of people so guess it makes sense we’d share in the same sufferings. May your bloodline be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb and the Holy Spirit overtake each of them! There harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Never cease praying for them, I believe the salvation of our loved ones is definitely a prayer that will be answered.. in God's perfect timing, He knows when and how each person comes into the faith. This has been me for the past couple of days four years. Don't get me wrong..I'm always happy when I see other's doing well and receiving what God has for them..but I have been asking lately, " Lord when is it my turn?" And doubting that it will happen for me. I pray for other's more than myself..He says he knows our hearts and thoughts...the wait is hard. Still I trust Him. He is faithful and I gotta keep the faith...but man I'm so tired.❤🙇🏻♀️

Im trying to submit my fears and insecurities upto the Lord. I let my “feelings” lead me and i it went really bad. Even if you are not able to feel God now, trust that He is there. See it like walking through a path but theres a lot of fog you cant see the road. You take each step believing the way is there. Leave it to Him. Deny your feelings and focus on God.
Amen! Great mindset and truly that's the best way to get through, trusting God even when we can't see Him working or feel Him near. That childlike faith that believes no matter what. His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light to our path. Jesus bless you!
@@DarcyRie its really hard honestly, to wait on the Lord when there is uncertainty. My heart feels weak and i barely am able to get up from bed. Guilt shame and undeserving feeling of any blessing keeps me stuck n feeling of no purpose .
I have started using a journal which I’m finding helpful. When I feel doubt or despair I read through the scriptures that relate to what I’m asking or hoping for. Thanks for the lovely video ❤

Joseph didn’t have a prophet encouraging him in prison, ( he had dreams from God ) so I’m reading out loud the written Word or listening to it because Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God Thank you for your genuineness of heart .

@ thank you Darcy I’ve been standing on certain promises for 25 years that God has confirmed supernaturally 5 or more times I’ve lost every thing including house money ect… and had ministers die, on me who I was in agreement with for global ministries and then my finally my wife died of doctors malpractice and I was about to throw in the towel and I said I’m done Lord , but authentic people like you keep me going,, you made a big point. I’m gonna trust in God and what he said to me and His timing stands alone … please continue to pray for me and I will for you! You don’t need to respond because I know you’re a very busy person, but God bless you and your family
Thank you for this message V helpful especially for new believers. You’ve pointed out all the struggles during the wait and have emphasized that the answer is to go to God for strength at all times. And to believe that His plans are for the good even if it doesn’t make sense at the moment. Having faith in Him is an everyday choice and comes with its own struggles. @ I wouldn’t say persecution for it, but I’ve had people judge me for it and call me crazy or accuse of me having a holier than thou attitude. But those people didn’t know me at all. What kind of persecution are you experiencing? Jesus told us if they hated Him they will hate us, doesn’t make it any easier but maybe find some comfort in that knowing you’re following and pleasing the Lord, not man.
@DarcyRie First off, I'd like to thank you for pointing out to me that I seem to gravitate towards subjects that can cause division. I didn't realize that I could possibly be causing "dissension among the brethren". I'm just a truth junkie lol. Yeah, as soon as I utter anything about God or truth, people especially "family" pull out a giant mirror and put in front of me and call out my sins.

It was very encouraging. Just what i needed when my surroundings arent what ive been praying for but that doesnt change that God is still God. And He is good. His word will not return back to Him void. I just want to say thank you for following the leading of the Holy Spirit and doing his work. Those videos can be addicting and we can get lost in them, like you said, waiting to hear from God through them. I think eventually Holy Spirit gives us a check in our spirits to back away from them. @DarcyRie hi again, I'll be very honest, I don't know how to word exactly what I'm trying to say. BUT... Do you know of any groups that are active with its members and talk with and help new Christians? I'm 34, I just gave my heart to the Lord in June. I just feel alone and I would like to talk to someone and not feel like I'm wasting their time, OR like they think I'm crazy. I don't know what angel numbers are, haha. I just googled "what does 333 mean biblically" and it said "patience, faith and God's Timing". My heart is in bad shape and just looked up love stinks by the J. Geils band and the first video to pop up for me is 3:33 long. Weird thing is it's cut short all the other videos are 3:35ish. I'm sitting here broken hearted, lost and confused and God is telling me to be patient and have faith in HIS timing.... Even when I'm sitting here wishing I could just not feel anything. There’s so much to learn, we never stop learning actually. I don’t know of any groups for fellowship and such, but maybe you could try searching on facebook for a local group or a general one for new believers. If you attend a local church they could probably suggest a group. And you can always keep commenting on my videos, there are some amazing people here who support others in the comments. I’m sorry your heart is so broken, it’s a deep pain I know, but if you keep seeking the Lord and give Him everything, all your hurt, worries and doubts, lay them down at His feet in prayer and He will heal you. Stay in the word most of all 🙏🤍
This message hit me right at the right time. I’ve been back-and-forth walking away here lately to a lot of people, putting all of my faith and trust in the Lord nothing will ever happen. Even other Christians say this. And I’ve waited so long. it’s hard to keep believing that God‘s gonna come through for me. I love him. I came this far because of him and I have to remind myself that I did not start this journey with him because I wanted something from him outside of himself.
This video touched on double mindedness and although embarrassing that's exactly what I've been experiencing lately as it pertains to RUclips. I know I have a message that will be of value to other BUT Bonnie The Believe wasn't consistent, I began to double and DO what was working for others but wasn't for ME. I'm reminding that I must trust God to perfect that which He's give me for others. Even if something has worked for other it's up to me to hear for God and do what He'll enable me to do. This message is priceless and others need to hear it especially in times like these.
Amen! That's a great mindset to have - we love Him, and we couldn't have gone this far without Him. Isn't it tho!!! I began to listen to this message yesterday morning but didn't make time to hear it through and started my day. I had such a BAD day yesterday that probably could have been avoided if I would've receive this much needed message. Sure I've hear what she's sharing before but sometimes we need to be reminded that God has a PLAN for our lives. The Bible mentions, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord. This most certainly is a message/word from the Lord that will bless many. I decided to listen to this message today and see what the enemy of my soul didn't want me to get... and that is FAITH. It's good to see that other believer's, such as yourself struggle as well. But, what I have come to terms with is if God says no to my specific prayer. Which has been the case for years and now even decades. We have to remember that it's God's will and not our own. We have to accept God's answer or the way God chooses to answer our petition. Whether it's now or never or somewhere I'm between. That's having true faith and that's the hardest part, because we want what we want, when we want it and how we want it.

I truly mean it when I say that this was a very timely video for me (and you didn't even need a clickbait title!). Genuinely, it spoke to me in a way I really needed to be reminded of. Been going through it these past few months and have felt my faith wavering at times and then giving too much attention to my thoughts of doubt and the enemy. I had just prayed earlier for God to give me the faith I need just to have patience to see what He has for me next job/career-wise. Thank you for a genuine video that relies on God's word more than tickling ears. As an aside, I was talking about those "this video will find you when you need it" videos with a friend of mine and how no, it's the algorithm putting them in front of all our eyeballs.

Before this video I had the doubt subject in mind, then saw the word doubt several times afterwards, took that as confirmation for the message. Thank you a good wise video. I feel like and experienced in a very hurtful way a big dream of mine(what i had been believing for)being killed or broken a few days ago(not literally but it sure felt like it). Then I remembered a video i saw a few weeks ago. It wasn't a ministry or a preacher. Just a random video of a person restoring a very old antique gum drop press machine. There was no music nobody talking to explain what was happening. Just a few words on the screen every now and then as the antique was first tested for lead, then being taken apart piece by piece and cleaned sanded and painted. Even the screw holes we're rethreaded. It was the most satisfying 20 minute video I had ever watched. Of course after restoring every piece it was put back together a piece at a time. And then they tested out gumdrop candy through to make sure it worked. What got my attention was a comment that said "I need this guy to come restore my life". Anyway looking back at this video I suddenly realized that God can only restore whats broken or doesn't work. He can only resurrect whats dead. Not alive. Not saying this to tickle ears but it encouraged me to keep praying keep believing! Don't know if it does but hope it helps.

You have such a soothing voice. You're right : I've had tens of videos in the last days telling me I'm about to at last reap a harvest.😂''You haven't sown those seeds in vain!'' Truth: I have come to fully embrace many false ideas/strongholds (acc. to the Bible at least) about God. I truly think he wants to exasperate/frustrate me. If I ask for something and pray for it for months, if I've prayed for 4 months, I needed to pray another 2 weeks, if I've waited for 20 years, I need to wait another one, perhaps 25 before God moves in. People cannot conceive how supremely easy and effortless it is for God to shower/drown you with blessings, to take a life of mourning, sorrow, adversity, loss, stagnation and turn it into an adventure where you at last thrive and feel vibrant and alive. I *know* that Satan and demons are against me, I *think* God is vaguely, sort of for me. If the God thing ''worked'' I would have never come to love/crave/be consumed by money. Money would have changed my life, made everything easier, I would have never have to remain in misery, stuck, because it opens the doors to everything. Money offers the opposite of what a walk with God entails. It doesn't offer false hopes, doesn't keep you waiting for the littlest thing for ages, saves you from the 40h a week soul suck, makes you able to truly live life on your terms, doesn't keep you stuck in an environment, situation, job you're miserable in. It shields you from stagnantion. Then if you want to do the God thing, you are certainly free to do so. It sounds melodramatic and cheesy, but, truthfully, it was indeed a sad day when i was conceived, and it was an even sadder day when I was born. I know that my redeemer lives, but we will have never agreed on the terms of my redemption.

Indeed God could easily bless us with everything we could ever want, but He gives us what we need and in His timing gives the increase. There’s got to be reason for the wait and enduring of the seemingly miserable ways of living. You said you know satan and his demons are against you, and they are, but God is definitely for you, working all things out for your good. I have prayed for you and will keep you in my prayers, I truly sympathize with your thoughts here and have struggled with some of these myself. The one thing money won’t give is joy, well it might until it runs out, but the love and fellowship of our Father is everlasting joy even though we walk through the valley. 🙏🙏🙏🤍
@@DarcyRie One thing I hate, Darcy, is being a burden on people. Don't feel the need tor espond to my tirades. At this point I'm like a madman raving. I figure that i've tasted enough of life's bitter fruit, and when I hear that God loves me, I'm thinking he is as eager as i am for me to rise from the ashes of the past and start truly living, thriving and loving life. But that's not the case, God basically wants willing slaves, our submission, the surrender of our will, finances, sexuality, choices, plans, hopes and dreams to himself in the faint hopes that he will turn it to your advantage. But looking back, I have absolutely no evidence of that. Not only does God require everything from me, but I'm promised eternal conscious torment if I don't respond to his ''love'' exactly the way he wants it. I've scratched my head for years, I wonder what were God's intentions when he allowed me to be conceived and born? My life was not the worst of life, but it simply was not, and it's still not good. My love language is a *good life* but God doesn't understand it or he simply refuses to relent on his plan of misery for me. I recall a line from a Led Zeppelin song, ''crying won't help you, praying won't do you no good'' I've been crushed, I've been rejected, I've been in and out of despair ever seince I was a young boy, so what does God offer me? To die to self and become his slave. *Anyone* praying for me should preface their prayer with ''if you're not going to quickly enhance the *quality* of his life in concrete ways, never mind what I'm going to say'' I have nothing against, on the contrary, but you start with the premise that God is good, that evryhting he does and does not do is for your ultimate benefit, that if he withholds, say a financial blessing from you, it's out of sheer love for you, but I don't know that premise to be true, nor do I assume that it is simply because millions of people say that it is, and that the Book says that it is. Nonetheless, I appreciate your charity for a lost soul.🙏 See, I can't pour out my heart to God like that because, unlike you, he could stop effortlessly and easily, at no cost to him, anything and everythign that plagues me, but *chooses* not to. Christ suffered 3 days, so I have to suffer my entire life. I want to be spared shame, humiliation and rejection. And that's too much to ask from God. Oh and as for money, I truly meant financial freedom, i.e. the ability to live well off the interests of a sizable amount of money. If it can run out, it wouldn't offer the kind of balm (to my heart and soul) that being financially set would. Without it, I'll never be able to shake worry, insecurity, inferiority, anxiety etc. off me.

It’s what’s in my heart, I have a compassion for people especially when they open up and share the things you have. I often don’t share my “problems” with people either for the same not wanting to burden anyone, because most people don’t really care anyways. I don’t really know how to respond here, because I don’t know your heart and how your relationship with God truly was. But from what you’ve said and from an outsiders perspective, I wonder if your heart had really been softened to the sovereignty of God. Please don’t take offense, I’m not trying to offend just make sense of what might be hindering you from experiencing the fullness of a relationship with Him. Yes it does seem we become willful slaves (that sounds like a horrible way to word it) but it’s because we love Him and are in awe of who He is that we want to do what He says, His ways become our ways. We accept the sufferings. It doesn’t seem appealing at all, I know. Anyways, I have no point here except to maybe urge you to spend some quality time with Him, not letting Him go until He blesses you with answers. 🙏

I'm afraid some things I say might strike a chord, and at a time of vulnerability, it might come back to you and impact you negatively. I appreciate your compliment. Very early in school I struggled, partly because I was deemed immature and partly because I was absent-minded (I was briefly put on Ritalin, but my mother thought it was turning me into a zombie, so I was put off meds quickly), and I was placed in a special class. I am extremely sensitive, and that hurt me deeply because I felt different, less than, inferior. So, right out of the gate I was behind all my peers. Fast forward a few years and I'm playing hockey in the street with a few kids my age (12-13). One was a jackass, and he started singing a song , a silly song, and he kept repeating the same words. I did notice that everyone was giggling but I had no idea I was being the butt of the joke. Being the last one to catch on burned deeply because they were right : I'm not very bright. Anyhow, the song was a pun with my name and someone with Down's syndrome. ''Once upon a time, there was a small...'' I didn't cry, told no one, but it shocked me deeply. I recall in that moment thinking that life was going to be a long, long ordeal that promised very little hope for fulfillment. The reason I say all of this is that because I feared (and still fear) being humiliated because I'm not sharp and quick-witted, I tried my very best to have a good vocabulary to be able to express myself accurately, and in a way to ''fool'' people into thinking I'm not dumb. As a teen, i would spend hours upon hours looking up words in the dictionary. As a introvert, although I don't know that I would be an introvert if I hadn't been humiliated and had the fear of others drilled into me, words were a perfect hobby for me. With a little bit more self confidence and a little less anxiety and emotional baggage, I most likely would have found a job connected to words, like translation for instance. I agree with this “hope deferred” situation never saw it like that but it’s true…it’s easy when we receive a message and we’re not in that frame of mind or in that season where we can make something of it it’s easy to fall into disappointment and forget to see the beauty of what we do have in life already…we have breath we have another day..another opportunity to live our purpose, or find out what that is if we haven’t quite found it yet.

It's hard to hold on: I'm a 42 y/o male virgin, I believe God showed me who I will marry… she wants nothing to do with me, and over the past year of prayer I have seen nothing. Since you said you believe God showed you who you’re to marry, then hold onto that as you continue to move in faith towards the calling He’s placed on your life. Refresh yourself in the Lord when you grow tired. Just don’t give up on the promise. I think it was Elisha who had his servant go back 7 times to check for the rain cloud, it wasn’t until the 7th time that he finally saw the tiniest of clouds. Gods timing is best. I know it’s difficult especially when it seems the person He has for you doesn’t agree, but God sees the end of this and He wouldn’t tell you who that person is if they were to never come into agreement. Maybe ask God if you should switch up your prayers, sometimes we need to pray differently in the changing seasons. Stay encouraged brother! I’m praying for you and your person 🙏🤍
I'm going through a very similar thing. I am at the point where I'm just losing my humanity, altogether. I cant even be myself anymore. I lost best friend, family and other friends...I am tired...struggling...I don't have any strength left in me to believe...I've prayed but I've seen nothing happening...I don't know what this faith walk is for if all I'm ever going to do is suffer
@ Ouch, I feel a lot of that. What I've taken to doing is dumping all of it on God in prayer, even (perhaps especially) those ugly parts that I hate to even admit. Last year I did a lot of prayer and introspection; one thing that hit me was how certain things my dad did in my childhood impact my vision/model of the Father… on this particular topic, when I was 10 or so (way before starting to notice girls), dad was picking me up from a friend's house and joked about marrying me off to his sister, someone I didn't like (as opposed to having friends' siblings who I did like/interact with) and even then I knew that marriage was a big for-life & no-takebacks deal, so I felt betrayed that dad would treat it so lightly. - This translated into me viewing the father as not caring at all about my wants/desires (e.g. as if God were saying _"F-k you, I have a plan!"_ sort of things). So, now, I'm bringing _that_ (and all the other crap) and things like promises from the bible, and I'll say bluntly: I *know* you said _this_ but I really don't feel that it's true, or that I feel betrayed because the promises seem empty (or lies) such as getting wisdom leading to honor and riches (I'm not the proverbial "pillar of society" and I've less than &1k saved, though I'm a natural saver, and after pandemic-funland can't seem to get a job that lasts). I prayed for you.
Im in the similar situation as yours right now. So much confusion and at the brink of giving up. But I’m trying my best to surrender everything to God and not be bitter about it.

Good video, Darcy. I believe that, when God wants to speak to me, He will do specifically about what I have been asking for in prayers. God speaks and treats us individually, so these generic messages aren't a good indication for those who want answers to prayers. As you said, people are always going through something. And give up is not an option. In John 6:68, Simon Peter answer Jesus: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life". I love this versicle. God bless! 😊

But He won’t give us anything, even good things, if we desire them more than Him. I’m in the same situation, it’s painful I know, but it helps to surrender it to God and then focus on your relationship with Him and how you can use your gifts and talents to serve the kingdom. I believe when we’re about His business and not worrying about the when, that’s when it will happen. You said you’re trying every day, maybe start there, stop trying in your own strength. It's been 4 months since I got let go from the job. I've been praying to God every day for the job. Iast week, I had an interview with the company I was interested and just received the rejection letter. It's hard to keep calm when I get rejection letters. I don’t know what to do .
I can't imagine the stress and anxiety you may be facing in this situation, but I definitely sympathize with you. I can't assume how or what you're praying, but only offer my suggestions based on what I'd do in this situation. Perhaps the jobs you're seeking aren't God's will, even if they seem like great opportunities. I'd pray asking God to lead me to the job that He says is best for me, and thank Him in advance for the acceptance. Or maybe He's calling you away from the traditional job and into something else, like writing a book, starting a business or whatever you've been gifted with to be about the Father's business. In the meantime, maybe you could search out some testimony videos on how God provided for those without jobs or those who He's called out of the workforce. Good morning magoolew! I've been pondering on how to reply to you all evening. You're definitely not alone in how you feel about your hope and faith at this point. I can't assume anything of how your relationship with the Lord is, so please don't take offense, these are just my thoughts as to why this prayer may not have been answered yet. I fully believe the Word where it says, it's not good for man to be alone, two are better than one, but some are called to singleness. If we have heard from God and He's shown us that having a mate is His will for us, then we stand on that promise. We thank Him and praise Him in advance for it. Then we surrender that desire to Him knowing that His timing is perfect.. and we let God continue to do the work in us that is needed, change our hearts, rid of us old habits, or anything that may hinder or affect the marriage relationship. We have to be ready to receive the blessings. So if it's His will, and we've made ourselves ready, we continue to wait expectantly, be about the Father's business while you're waiting, but also we can't hold the promise too tightly, we have to be sure we aren't idolizing anything above Him. I don't think God will give us someone else to love, until we're fully content in the Father's love, where we can say, even if You never send me someone, You are enough. I really hope this helped in some way, if not, I apologize, please forgive me for misspeaking.. I am praying for you, my heart is right there with you on this! 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Disillusioned with life, had all the "world is your oyster" promises sold to me a decade and a half ago, the "work hard and do good, God will take care of everything when you trust Him" messages repeated over and over so I believed them. *I'm done with the lies.* God can and does disappoint our expectations, I'm just ashamed of expecting God to satisfy my hopes and dreams
@@AudaciousBean I really feel this, that’s a hard place to be and doesn’t make sense when we think of how we love and serve Him and have faith. The only thing that brings comfort in these instances, I believe, is admitting that perhaps our hopes and dreams weren’t His will, they may have seemed good, but maybe not God’s best. If we’re going to believe at all we must believe He is good and that He knows what’s best for us. He does answer the prayers and perform His word concerning His will. That James chapter 1:5-8 always sounds good but I can’t count the times I’ve asked God for wisdom or discernment on something, and every time I heard nothing. This right here is why I don’t trust. His word says one thing but what he actually does in reality doesn’t measure up. I wish it were true though, I desperately do.

I want to actually hear His voice but I think most times it’s a knowing in our spirits or those super strong feelings we can’t shake as Him speaking. And always through His word. And sometimes He takes what seems like forever to us to answer so we get tired of waiting and think He doesn’t answer. So I get it, sometimes it keeps us from moving at all. It becomes the "false hope express train to nowhere" That is a little depressing but you are right. Too many content creators preaching similar things. RUclips is over saturated at this point. I'm happy you are calling them out. Everyone's journey is different. I think "worldly success is overrated. Sometimes a break from youtube is a good idea. God was still doing his thing long before technology and he will be doing it afterwards.

I really be hating these videos, considering I left my job because I was led to. I know God had me quit my job, and that I wasn’t going to last anyway. But yeah... with these videos, it's a major stumbling block with the false hopes and everything. And as my situation gets more dire with these bills, yeah. Course, when I read the bible, then I see confirmations, because God pressed them in my heart reassuring me that things are going to be alright. And I well aware that this is a trial.

I think a lot of times we get so excited when we hear how He’s moving and about to bless us and answer us, but we forget that His timing is not ours. I’ve noticed a pattern of about a year from when we’ve heard a word and when it comes to pass. Look at the scriptures, many times the angels of the Lord tell the people, this time next year or a year from now…

The way I understand our purpose or vision is that we have each been given a gift (or something we’re naturally good at, or something we are strongly passionate about) and that is what we’re supposed to be doing to assist and love on people in the name of Jesus. Sometimes I think we’re looking for these grand purposes but maybe it’s something that seems simple and ordinary, like raising your children in the way they should go. Or being the light in your workplace or wherever you would go. Think about what comes easy to you and how you could use that for the kingdom, then ask God to confirm it. I’ve been a Christian my whole life but struggled to believe that he was Good and Loving because of these video thumbnails that would say things like “God is disgusted with you” OR “Goodbye my child if you scroll past” So I became an Agnostic and really questioned the existence of God to a point of “I don’t know if there is a God, and that is not the kind of God I want to serve, so I don’t care enough to find out and it’s not worth searching for answers if he really is Sadistic and spiteful.” I was like this for about a year and a half until I re-watched the passion of the Christ, and it moved me to tears and convinced me that God must truly be good if he loved us that much. So I’m trying to re-dedicate my life to Christ

This has been me for the past couple of days four years. Don't get me wrong..I'm always happy when I see other's doing well and receiving what God has for them..but I have been asking lately, " Lord when is it my turn?" And doubting that it will happen for me. I pray for other's more than myself..He says he knows our hearts and thoughts...the wait is hard. Still I trust Him. Im trying to submit my fears and insecurities upto the Lord. I let my “feelings” lead me and i it went really bad. Even if you are not able to feel God now, trust that He is there. See it like walking through a path but theres a lot of fog you cant see the road. You take each step believing the way is there. Leave it to Him. Deny your feelings and focus on God.

@@DarcyRie its really hard honestly, to wait on the Lord when there is uncertainty. My heart feels weak and i barely am able to get up from bed. Guilt shame and undeserving feeling of any blessing keeps me stuck n feeling of no purpose .
I have started using a journal which I’m finding helpful. When I feel doubt or despair I read through the scriptures that relate to what I’m asking or hoping for.

@ thank you Darcy I’ve been standing on certain promises for 25 years that God has confirmed supernaturally 5 or more times I’ve lost every thing including house money ect… and had ministers die, on me who I was in agreement with for global ministries and then my finally my wife died of doctors malpractice and I was about to throw in the towel and I said I’m done Lord , but authentic people like you keep me going,, you made a big point. I’m gonna trust in God and what he said to me and His timing stands alone … please continue to pray for me and I will for you! @ I wouldn’t say persecution for it, but I’ve had people judge me for it and call me crazy or accuse of me having a holier than thou attitude. But those people didn’t know me at all.
What kind of persecution are you experiencing? Jesus told us if they hated Him they will hate us, doesn’t make it any easier but maybe find some comfort in that knowing you’re following and pleasing the Lord, not man.

@DarcyRie hi again, I'll be very honest, I don't know how to word exactly what I'm trying to say. BUT... Do you know of any groups that are active with its members and talk with and help new Christians? I'm 34, I just gave my heart to the Lord in June. I just feel alone and I would like to talk to someone and not feel like I'm wasting their time, OR like they think I'm crazy.
I don't know what angel numbers are, haha. I just googled "what does 333 mean biblically" and it said "patience, faith and God's Timing". My heart is in bad shape and just looked up love stinks by the J. Geils band and the first video to pop up for me is 3:33 long. Weird thing is it's cut short all the other videos are 3:35ish. I'm sitting here broken hearted, lost and confused and God is telling me to be patient and have faith in HIS timing.... Even when I'm sitting here wishing I could just not feel anything. This all just happened now and it blows my mind.

I don’t know of any groups for fellowship and such, but maybe you could try searching on facebook for a local group or a general one for new believers. If you attend a local church they could probably suggest a group. And you can always keep commenting on my videos, there are some amazing people here who support others in the comments.
I’m sorry your heart is so broken, it’s a deep pain I know, but if you keep seeking the Lord and give Him everything, all your hurt, worries and doubts, lay them down at His feet in prayer and He will heal you. Stay in the word most of all 🙏🤍
This message hit me right at the right time. I’ve been back-and-forth walking away here lately to a lot of people, putting all of my faith and trust in the Lord nothing will ever happen. Even other Christians say this. And I’ve waited so long. it’s hard to keep believing that God‘s gonna come through for me. I love him. I came this far because of him and I have to remind myself that I did not start this journey with him because I wanted something from him outside of himself.
This video touched on double mindedness and although embarrassing that's exactly what I've been experiencing lately as it pertains to RUclips. I know I have a message that will be of value to other BUT Bonnie The Believe wasn't consistent, I began to double and DO what was working for others but wasn't for ME. I'm reminding that I must trust God to perfect that which He's give me for others. Even if something has worked for other it's up to me to hear for God and do what He'll enable me to do. This message is priceless and others need to hear it especially in times like these.

Isn't it tho!!! I began to listen to this message yesterday morning but didn't make time to hear it through and started my day. I had such a BAD day yesterday that probably could have been avoided if I would've receive this much needed message. Sure I've hear what she's sharing before but sometimes we need to be reminded that God has a PLAN for our lives. The Bible mentions, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord. It's good to see that other believer's, such as yourself struggle as well. But, what I have come to terms with is if God says no to my specific prayer. Which has been the case for years and now even decades. We have to remember that it's God's will and not our own. We have to accept God's answer or the way God chooses to answer our petition. Whether it's now or never or somewhere I'm between. That's having true faith and that's the hardest part, because we want what we want, when we want it and how we want it.

I truly mean it when I say that this was a very timely video for me (and you didn't even need a clickbait title!). Genuinely, it spoke to me in a way I really needed to be reminded of. Been going through it these past few months and have felt my faith wavering at times and then giving too much attention to my thoughts of doubt and the enemy. I had just prayed earlier for God to give me the faith I need just to have patience to see what He has for me next job/career-wise.

Thank you a good wise video. I feel like and experienced in a very hurtful way a big dream of mine(what i had been believing for)being killed or broken a few days ago(not literally but it sure felt like it). Then I remembered a video i saw a few weeks ago. It wasn't a ministry or a preacher. Just a random video of a person restoring a very old antique gum drop press machine. There was no music nobody talking to explain what was happening. Just a few words on the screen every now and then as the antique was first tested for lead, then being taken apart piece by piece and cleaned sanded and painted. Even the screw holes we're rethreaded. It was the most satisfying 20 minute video I had ever watched. Of course after restoring every piece it was put back together a piece at a time. And then they tested out gumdrop candy through to make sure it worked. What got my attention was a comment that said "I need this guy to come restore my life". Anyway looking back at this video I suddenly realized that God can only restore whats broken or doesn't work. He can only resurrect whats dead. Not alive. Not saying this to tickle ears but it encouraged me to keep praying keep believing! Don't know if it does but hope it helps.

Truth: I have come to fully embrace many false ideas/strongholds (acc. to the Bible at least) about God. I truly think he wants to exasperate/frustrate me. If I ask for something and pray for it for months, if I've prayed for 4 months, I needed to pray another 2 weeks, if I've waited for 20 years, I need to wait another one, perhaps 25 before God moves in. People cannot conceive how supremely easy and effortless it is for God to shower/drown you with blessings, to take a life of mourning, sorrow, adversity, loss, stagnation and turn it into an adventure where you at last thrive and feel vibrant and alive. I *know* that Satan and demons are against me, I *think* God is vaguely, sort of for me. If the God thing ''worked'' I would have never come to love/crave/be consumed by money. Money would have changed my life, made everything easier, I would have never have to remain in misery, stuck, because it opens the doors to everything. Money offers the opposite of what a walk with God entails. It doesn't offer false hopes, doesn't keep you waiting for the littlest thing for ages, saves you from the 40h a week soul suck, makes you able to truly live life on your terms, doesn't keep you stuck in an environment, situation, job you're miserable in. It shields you from stagnantion. Then if you want to do the God thing, you are certainly free to do so.
It sounds melodramatic and cheesy, but, truthfully, it was indeed a sad day when i was conceived, and it was an even sadder day when I was born. I know that my redeemer lives, but we will have never agreed on the terms of my redemption.

Wow, you’ve really given me a great read. And truly I relate to all you’ve said. Sometimes it feels as though I’ve got an Ecclesiastes mindset, and maybe you do too. Indeed God could easily bless us with everything we could ever want, but He gives us what we need and in His timing gives the increase. It really is a hard walk when we think about how everything is a test of faith and endurance. Like you said, you truly think He wants to exasperate you, but can’t think of it in a cruel kind of way. There’s got to be reason for the wait and enduring of the seemingly miserable ways of living. I figure that i've tasted enough of life's bitter fruit, and when I hear that God loves me, I'm thinking he is as eager as i am for me to rise from the ashes of the past and start truly living, thriving and loving life. But that's not the case, God basically wants willing slaves, our submission, the surrender of our will, finances, sexuality, choices, plans, hopes and dreams to himself in the faint hopes that he will turn it to your advantage. But looking back, I have absolutely no evidence of that. Not only does God require everything from me, but I'm promised eternal conscious torment if I don't respond to his ''love'' exactly the way he wants it.
I've scratched my head for years, I wonder what were God's intentions when he allowed me to be conceived and born? My life was not the worst of life, but it simply was not, and it's still not good. My love language is a *good life* but God doesn't understand it or he simply refuses to relent on his plan of misery for me.
I recall a line from a Led Zeppelin song, ''crying won't help you, praying won't do you no good'' I've been crushed, I've been rejected, I've been in and out of despair ever seince I was a young boy, so what does God offer me? To die to self and become his slave. *Anyone* praying for me should preface their prayer with ''if you're not going to quickly enhance the *quality* of his life in concrete ways, never mind what I'm going to say''
I have nothing against, on the contrary, but you start with the premise that God is good, that evryhting he does and does not do is for your ultimate benefit, that if he withholds, say a financial blessing from you, it's out of sheer love for you, but I don't know that premise to be true, nor do I assume that it is simply because millions of people say that it is, and that the Book says that it is. Nonetheless, I appreciate your charity for a lost soul.🙏
See, I can't pour out my heart to God like that because, unlike you, he could stop effortlessly and easily, at no cost to him, anything and everythign that plagues me, but *chooses* not to. Christ suffered 3 days, so I have to suffer my entire life. I want to be spared shame, humiliation and rejection. And that's too much to ask from God. Oh and as for money, I truly meant financial freedom, i.e. the ability to live well off the interests of a sizable amount of money. If it can run out, it wouldn't offer the kind of balm (to my heart and soul) that being financially set would. Without it, I'll never be able to shake worry, insecurity, inferiority, anxiety etc. off me.

But from what you’ve said and from an outsiders perspective, I wonder if your heart had really been softened to the sovereignty of God. Please don’t take offense, I’m not trying to offend just make sense of what might be hindering you from experiencing the fullness of a relationship with Him.
Yes it does seem we become willful slaves (that sounds like a horrible way to word it) but it’s because we love Him and are in awe of who He is that we want to do what He says, His ways become our ways. We accept the sufferings.

@@DarcyRie It was so dark, I don't want to contaminate you with my pessimism. I'm afraid some things I say might strike a chord, and at a time of vulnerability, it might come back to you and impact you negatively.
I appreciate your compliment. Very early in school I struggled, partly because I was deemed immature and partly because I was absent-minded (I was briefly put on Ritalin, but my mother thought it was turning me into a zombie, so I was put off meds quickly), and I was placed in a special class. I am extremely sensitive, and that hurt me deeply because I felt different, less than, inferior. So, right out of the gate I was behind all my peers.
Fast forward a few years and I'm playing hockey in the street with a few kids my age (12-13). One was a jackass, and he started singing a song , a silly song, and he kept repeating the same words. I did notice that everyone was giggling but I had no idea I was being the butt of the joke. Being the last one to catch on burned deeply because they were right : I'm not very bright. Anyhow, the song was a pun with my name and someone with Down's syndrome. ''Once upon a time, there was a small...'' I didn't cry, told no one, but it shocked me deeply. I recall in that moment thinking that life was going to be a long, long ordeal that promised very little hope for fulfillment.
The reason I say all of this is that because I feared (and still fear) being humiliated because I'm not sharp and quick-witted, I tried my very best to have a good vocabulary to be able to express myself accurately, and in a way to ''fool'' people into thinking I'm not dumb. As a teen, i would spend hours upon hours looking up words in the dictionary. As a introvert, although I don't know that I would be an introvert if I hadn't been humiliated and had the fear of others drilled into me, words were a perfect hobby for me. With a little bit more self confidence and a little less anxiety and emotional baggage, I most likely would have found a job connected to words, like translation for instance.

Since you said you believe God showed you who you’re to marry, then hold onto that as you continue to move in faith towards the calling He’s placed on your life. Refresh yourself in the Lord when you grow tired. Just don’t give up on the promise. I think it was Elisha who had his servant go back 7 times to check for the rain cloud, it wasn’t until the 7th time that he finally saw the tiniest of clouds. Gods timing is best. I know it’s difficult especially when it seems the person He has for you doesn’t agree, but God sees the end of this and He wouldn’t tell you who that person is if they were to never come into agreement. Maybe ask God if you should switch up your prayers, sometimes we need to pray differently in the changing seasons. Stay encouraged brother! I’m praying for you and your person 🙏🤍
I'm going through a very similar thing. I am at the point where I'm just losing my humanity, altogether. I cant even be myself anymore. I lost best friend, family and other friends...I am tired...struggling...I don't have any strength left in me to believe...I've prayed but I've seen nothing happening...I don't know what this faith walk is for if all I'm ever going to do is suffer
@ Ouch, I feel a lot of that. What I've taken to doing is dumping all of it on God in prayer, even (perhaps especially) those ugly parts that I hate to even admit.
Last year I did a lot of prayer and introspection; one thing that hit me was how certain things my dad did in my childhood impact my vision/model of the Father… on this particular topic, when I was 10 or so (way before starting to notice girls), dad was picking me up from a friend's house and joked about marrying me off to his sister, someone I didn't like (as opposed to having friends' siblings who I did like/interact with) and even then I knew that marriage was a big for-life & no-takebacks deal, so I felt betrayed that dad would treat it so lightly. - This translated into me viewing the father as not caring at all about my wants/desires (e.g. as if God were saying _"F-k you, I have a plan!"_ sort of things).
So, now, I'm bringing _that_ (and all the other crap) and things like promises from the bible, and I'll say bluntly: I *know* you said _this_ but I really don't feel that it's true, or that I feel betrayed because the promises seem empty (or lies) such as getting wisdom leading to honor and riches (I'm not the proverbial "pillar of society" and I've less than &1k saved, though I'm a natural saver, and after pandemic-funland can't seem to get a job that lasts).

God speaks and treats us individually, so these generic messages aren't a good indication for those who want answers to prayers. As you said, people are always going through something.

It's been 4 months since I got let go from the job. I've been praying to God every day for the job. Iast week, I had an interview with the company I was interested and just received the rejection letter. It's hard to keep calm when I get rejection letters. I don’t know what to do .
I can't imagine the stress and anxiety you may be facing in this situation, but I definitely sympathize with you. I can't assume how or what you're praying, but only offer my suggestions based on what I'd do in this situation.
Perhaps the jobs you're seeking aren't God's will, even if they seem like great opportunities. I'd pray asking God to lead me to the job that He says is best for me, and thank Him in advance for the acceptance. Or maybe He's calling you away from the traditional job and into something else, like writing a book, starting a business or whatever you've been gifted with to be about the Father's business.
In the meantime, maybe you could search out some testimony videos on how God provided for those without jobs or those who He's called out of the workforce. I hope my comment helped in some way, if not, I apologize. and I am praying for you! God bless you and may His will be done 🙏🤍

Good morning magoolew! I've been pondering on how to reply to you all evening. You're definitely not alone in how you feel about your hope and faith at this point. I can't assume anything of how your relationship with the Lord is, so please don't take offense, these are just my thoughts as to why this prayer may not have been answered yet.
I fully believe the Word where it says, it's not good for man to be alone, two are better than one, but some are called to singleness. If we have heard from God and He's shown us that having a mate is His will for us, then we stand on that promise. We thank Him and praise Him in advance for it. Then we surrender that desire to Him knowing that His timing is perfect.. and we let God continue to do the work in us that is needed, change our hearts, rid of us old habits, or anything that may hinder or affect the marriage relationship.
We have to be ready to receive the blessings.
So if it's His will, and we've made ourselves ready, we continue to wait expectantly, be about the Father's business while you're waiting, but also we can't hold the promise too tightly, we have to be sure we aren't idolizing anything above Him.
I don't think God will give us someone else to love, until we're fully content in the Father's love, where we can say, even if You never send me someone, You are enough.

The only thing that brings comfort in these instances, I believe, is admitting that perhaps our hopes and dreams weren’t His will, they may have seemed good, but maybe not God’s best. If we’re going to believe at all we must believe He is good and that He knows what’s best for us. He does answer the prayers and perform His word concerning His will. That James chapter 1:5-8 always sounds good but I can’t count the times I’ve asked God for wisdom or discernment on something, and every time I heard nothing. This right here is why I don’t trust. His word says one thing but what he actually does in reality doesn’t measure up. I wish it were true though, I desperately do.
@@rayharter401 hey Ray, I hear you. Sometimes I question and wonder why I don’t hear anything either, why do some people hear Him more clearly than most.
I want to actually hear His voice but I think most times it’s a knowing in our spirits or those super strong feelings we can’t shake as Him speaking. And always through His word.
And sometimes He takes what seems like forever to us to answer so we get tired of waiting and think He doesn’t answer.
So I get it, sometimes it keeps us from moving at all. But trusting Him even blindly is more peaceful than thinking of doing this life without Him.

@ I definitely agree, the waiting is the most challenging part. Sometimes I wonder why He tells us things so far in advance knowing how we are looking forward to them. But I guess if He didn’t tell us ahead of time, we wouldn’t strive so hard to attain it by making ourselves ready and building up our faith. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might 🙏🤍

Yeah there are way too much click bait titles that this video is showing just when you need to hear it. It becomes the "false hope express train to nowhere" That is a little depressing but you are right. Too many content creators preaching similar things. RUclips is over saturated at this point. I'm happy you are calling them out. Everyone's journey is different. I think "worldly success is overrated. Sometimes a break from youtube is a good idea. God was still doing his thing long before technology and he will be doing it afterwards.

It definitely looks like “worldly” success and I hope one day they get a check in their spirit about it. But some people God does call to RUclips, I’ve had many confirmations and right on time encouragement from some. Does seem over saturated though and that was a concern of mine when I went to start this channel, but still felt the Lord wanted me to do this. I really be hating these videos, considering I left my job because I was led to. I know God had me quit my job, and that I wasn’t going to last anyway. But yeah... with these videos, it's a major stumbling block with the false hopes and everything. And as my situation gets more dire with these bills, yeah.
Course, when I read the bible, then I see confirmations, because God pressed them in my heart reassuring me that things are going to be alright. And I well aware that this is a trial.

@DarcyRie thanks! No lie, the journey is definitely harder than I've expected. Yet... despite all that, I see the work of God. I would've folded long before things got as turbulent as it is, yet... He's the one holding me firmly in His grasp.

I’ve been saying that also if you get a word from God, you don’t go on RUclips and say this is for someone and just throw it out there across millions of people surely it will stick eventually, but that don’t mean it was from God

@@MarcusLambert-gt2ow me too! But maybe they’re still words for us but they were taken out of season. I think a lot of times we get so excited when we hear how He’s moving and about to bless us and answer us, but we forget that His timing is not ours. I’ve noticed a pattern of about a year from when we’ve heard a word and when it comes to pass. Look at the scriptures, many times the angels of the Lord tell the people, this time next year or a year from now…

@@MARKIEBANUNCE I don’t think it’s standard operating procedure, and I truly feel your concern. The way I understand our purpose or vision is that we have each been given a gift (or something we’re naturally good at, or something we are strongly passionate about) and that is what we’re supposed to be doing to assist and love on people in the name of Jesus. Sometimes I think we’re looking for these grand purposes but maybe it’s something that seems simple and ordinary, like raising your children in the way they should go. Or being the light in your workplace or wherever you would go.
Think about what comes easy to you and how you could use that for the kingdom, then ask God to confirm it.
