    Tyler is an amazing guy. Super personal, and a generally great person...even though he's an Auburn grad...GO DAWGS.

      For sure. But what I really want to know is why you like sporks so much over a separate spoon and fork? 🤔👀👀🤪

    Very interesting video. I'd heard that they had moved to Fletcher, NC which is a great area for cooling off in summer. Will definitely visit their store. When I purchased my Unlimited, the dealer told me that each of their multicolored kayaks is unique in color pattern because of the amount of each color the person filling the mold puts in and how the colors mix in the mold as it moves. My wife has a Hurricane Santee 11, that they also make. She loves it for paddling marsh creeks and low country rivers, fast and only 38 pounds.

      Yes they moved to be closer to many dealers in the area. To keep cost down for all parties and better QC I think. Logistics are better from NC over WA. All that matters is Nucanoe is made here. Yes every kayak will be different because like you said the different colors and who is pouring it in that day. Thanks for stopping by as always.

    Awesome behind the scenes tour! Excited to see how you rig the U10 and how it performs compared to the Unlimited! I bet it will scoot with the Nk motor! Happy Father's Day

    Very cool. I only live 2 hours from Fletcher. Now I see why the molds are so expensive. Thanks for the tour. One day I’ll own a NuCanoe 👍

      They are worth buying for sure. Not sure if you can buy directly from Big Adventures. I would call and ask. I am sure you can or you may have to go through a Nucanoe dealer themselves. I am sure there is a dealer close to you if not.

    Cool video!
    The cheap budget kayaks are blow molded with only a 7 minute molding cycle and about 30 minutes for assembly. But that sacrifices quality and durability of the kayak.
    Rotomolding is alot more expensive to produce and the cycle time is alot longer. The quality of the kayak is way better!
    I have to deal with blow molding in the Automotive industry....it sucks

      I am glad you liked it. Yes much more to a rotomolded kayak. But worth it for years of no trouble.

    So Big Adventures owns NuCanoe, Native and Bonafide? And they are all built in the same facility?

    • @rjmfishtales
      @rjmfishtales  2 месяца назад

      Just built in the same facility now. Good for logistics and quality control.

    I've been reading on a few message boards that some of the U10's have a leaking problem. Brand new boats filled with either more than usual or a lot of water in the hulls. Any word on this?

    • @rjmfishtales
      @rjmfishtales  2 месяца назад +1

      I have not experienced anything myself yet. But like any brand new product sometimes things need to work out. If any issue arises it will be taken care of by Nucanoe for sure. Nothing I would worry about. If you have a bad hull they will replace.

      Not sure. Probably would have to ask Blake on that.

    Are the Hulls any thicker or is the plastic any harder than the previous produced models, prior to the manufacturing move?

    • @rjmfishtales
      @rjmfishtales  2 месяца назад

      I am not sure but from a test plug/cut from kayak it is around 1/8 of an inch thick. They appear to be the same or thicker than other kayaks I have owned. Sturdy for me.

      @@rjmfishtales I've got an unlimited, I've owned a mess of Old Town boats.....went and looked at a bonafide recently. The old towns and seemingly the bonafide yaks have a harder, slicker plastic, than my current unlimited. it's pretty clear to me the 2023 unlimited won't handle rocks as well as the other 2. No big deal really as the unlimited gets used more in lakes, bigger rivers and saltwater. Just wondered if the hulls characteristics have changed at all , since the move....

      @seanb2604 no seems like everything is the same from my older unlimited as well.

      @@seanb2604 Maybe different manufacturers have different blends in the plastic.
