Nice addition. One suggestion for safety, you might consider having the First Aid box on top or near the front to allow quicker access.

I think the drain plug kit is also there so you can turn the gear pod into a mini cooler for some cold beverages during your trip :)
Yea that would be a good idea as well. Then you can become the party barge of the group. Lol.
The gear pod is a no brainer when outfitting your Nucanoe. When I got my Unlimited, I knew I was going to be spending some money so the gear pod was the first thing I added without hesitation. It holds so much stuff and it keeps the deck clear which is why many people buy the Unlimited…the open deck space.

I want as open a deck as possible, so a gear pod isn’t an option for me.
@elizabethz569 that is why Nucanoe is the best because we can remove or add things if we want for different applications. And if you don’t want it you don’t have to have it, unlike others manufacturers you have no choice. It’s a front hatch and that’s it!

Ryan, could you point me to whatever video details your change from the switchblade to however you are running your transducer now? The NuCanoe transducer solution is the only thing I don’t care for on the Unlimited.
I used the kit from Nucanoe. Also I am pretty much putting all my unlimited videos under Nucanoe playlist. Video below. It’s not in great detail but shows you what I did.
