I CANNOT accept the lack of attention this is getting. For all I know, this could very well be your first video, but it's so well put and so coherent that I believe it deserves a lot more of virtual validation. Best of wishes.
Awwww this made my daayyy! Thank you so much for your sweet message🥹💓 I'm beyond blessed for thiss. I'll keep working on more videos and hopefully someday it'll work out. Once again, thanks so much! You remind what I do this for to begin with🥹🥹💕💕
I still call it not-anime simply because I think we should give more credit to western artists. Just because a cartoon is groundbreaking and exceptional doesn't mean it anime. And furthermore, why does it lose value if it isn't considered anime? There are plenty of non-anime shows that are great made in the west. Not everything that is fantastic needs to have anime under its genre. Plus this was made for and produced not to mention aired by Nickelodeon studios. It really don't not get more un-anime than that.
True true. What I meant in the video was that the creators of Avatar mentioned it themselves that they wanted to create something similar to Japanese Animation hence why Avatar seems to resemble Anime more than it does with other cartoons. Not saying that either is superior to the other. Just an observation 🙂↕️😅
I feel like the people who are very much still in the camp of _'Avatar The Last Airbender _*_IS_*_ an Anime'_ either have *_never_* been to an art school or done a film or animation course and havn't taken the time to *_really_* analyze the _fine_ differences between American/Western Animation and Japanese Animation *OR* they simply havn't taken the time to sit down to some Western and Japanese examples of animation and *_really_* picked apart the differences (animation production value, storytelling techniques, tropes, execution, etc) between how it's done in the west and how it's done in the east.
Yup. I've mentioned both the similarities and differences in the video. And yes, overall it's very different and can never classify as an Anime. Simply inspired by a few elements here and there, but that's about it.
@Araabtime yeahh truee but they'd be called animated shows or series and not cartoons. Cartoons are like Hello Kitty or Tom and Jerry which are mainly targeted towards kid. Avatar was a mix of both
Avatar is still one of my favorite shows. Loved the video! Your channel is criminally underrated

It is not Japanese despite the art medium
Yess it just got its inspiration from Japanese Animation
Anime or cartoon .. same thing 🙂
Anime is mostly for the older audience and cartoons are for kiddos that are easy to understand and don't have r18 stuff 😅
@@maunsters1427 yeah but there are a lot of cartoons have things that you mentioned .. like invincible .. don't focus to my language 🗿
