Bandung has plenty of food and local dishes. Cafes. Try batagor Kingsley, martabak manis san fransisco, siomay (egg, potato, tofu), ice cream pt rasa, es/ice sekoteng.
For sight seeing go to volcano lake kawah putih, tangkuban perahu valcano, lembang district, dago hill (you can see the city from this site)
Bandung .....Paris Van Java
The nickname Parijs van Java was bestowed by the Dutch in the early 1900s-1920s, due to the plentiful of boutiques and haute-couture stores in Braga Street. There were also many cafes, gourmet restaurants and clubhouses, that for the Dutch, resembles the atmosphere of Paris.
The average temperature was also cooler that time, around 15-20°C especially in the evenings, making Bandung a sanctuary for Dutch living in Batavia.
The fashion centre trademark of Bandung and gourmet centres are still preserved up today. The creativity of Bandung people in arts is very well known.

You should find "Peuyeum" Bandung traditional food, kinda super rare to find but if you are lucky enough have it a try.
It is fermented Casava unique taste, delicious. Sometimes made for combination of ice dessert.
Also try Batagor Kingsley at Veteran Street.

If you are still there I recommend the Angklung centre: very famous and it was founded to get young peopl off the streets. It is a fun, cool experience for yourselves and make a good video. Just check the performance times first. Enjoy!

to add more description, sudirman street market is kinda located in our little chinatown in bandung (cibadak). so you gonna expect a lot of pork or some other chinese influenced cuisine. but still there is some halal stall in sudirman street market or in cibadak.

Hope you both enjoy your time in Bandung! I have been enjoying your videos and showing me what I missed from Indonesia. You also checked out local touristy places, that’s cool! You both always had positive attitudes and adventurous with trying out new stuff or dish! I hope you both learn some good values from our culture along your journey. Btw, Indonesians have slowly build more awareness in reducing plastic waste, but I also do understand that these street vendors often have them because they don’t want backlash from a customer who didn’t bring their own reusable bag, and need one to carry home the goodies, but one thing I’d do is tell the vendor not to put the goodies in the plastic bag. That’ll also set a good example to the locals around you who may not already have awareness of plastic waste. Hope this won’t get a lot of backlash from fellow Indonesians 😂. Another local dish you both ought to try whilst in Bandung is Surabi/Serabu 😉
