So throughout the whole time he tried to flee from these attackers. It was not until Kyle was cornered or when he was being attacked while being on the ground did he fire his firearm.
It's more subtle than it seems. The prosecutor knows he can't challenge the mountain of video evidence, and he can't ignore it either, so he's taken full ownership of it and is trying to create a narrative that Kyle went out looking for trouble. This is why he's making a big deal of where Kyle was going, at which particular time, who told him to go there, and if anyone did tell him to go somewhere. That's why the defence went to great lengths to get Dominick Black to say Kyle was told to go to particular places by other people, rather than allow the jury to think Kyle was just roaming around looking for 'victims'. On the surface it looks like he's doing the defence's job for them, but it's not as terrible a strategy as it would appear. Once an idea like that gets in a jurors mind, it may stick.
Agreed. My guess is the Prosecutor was thinking.....How do I win this losing case. I know, bet the Defense to the talking points and try my best to paint it as 'Kyle Bad Boy'. Thats my guess.

False, the possession charge should be moot for vagueness. Judge even admitted as such. Would probably dismiss charges if jury found guilty as the Judge is in charge of sentencing, not the jury in Wisconsin.
Later, during the Defense's closing arguments: Ladies, Gentlemen, and Transes of the jury, you weren't in the courtroom yet, but the honorable Judge here characterized this yokel's hospital bag as "heavy." We know that it included mouthwash, a liquid that might reflect in the poorly lit street and be mistaken for a molotov cocktail by My Man Kyle, Real Life Hawkeye, who extinguished both the cocktail and the yokel carrying it.
The prosecution is doing a great job...of convincing me Rittenhouse is not guilty of these charges. He even adds the cherry on top and admits these were riots, not "peaceful protests".
The more obviously dangerous the crowd the better it is for the prosecution - because Rittenhouse knew he was not trained to handle threats like that crowd and was not capable of determining what reasonably is and is not a deadly threat and yet chose to enter and then re-enter it. Meanwhile the only behaviour that counts is the specific behaviour of the people being shot at at the time they were shot. So "hey it was noisy and some other guy lit fires and broke glass and some guy shot a gun and others took a swing at me with a skateboard" is not relevant to what is reasonable self defence against the people he aimed at.

@@gagebailey8342 No. The prosecutor is making a full effort to prove the charges by the state are legitimate and that Kyle is guilty of them. He's doing his job as deemed necessary by the standards of our court system, whether or not you agree with them is irrelevant. This is why you are presumed innocent until the prosecution proves you are guilty and why you are entitled to a defense attorney. Sentiments like "it's so obvious," or, "the evidence is literally right there," aren't relevant in modern court systems, and presumptions like that are how you get mob justice like the people who chased Kyle tried to inflict on him. This trial is also extremely important for Kyle's safety. If he's found not guilty, then it's proven by the standard of the law and is symbolically protected from people who'd want to take justice into their own hands against him. In fact, if somebody took revenge against him, they would receive even harsher penalties for charges because they subvert the justice system by doing so.
If the jury is like the Chauvin jury then they will find Kyle guilty just so that their community doesn't burn. So many jurors are just too terrified to come back with a not guilty verdict even if it is legally justified.

If Kyle isn't proven of self defense even thought the prosecutor literally made part of his opening statement that supports self defense, then all hope is lost. if a woman uses a firearm to protect herself when she reasonably believes she will be raped and she was the only one who killed someone in self defense she will now be guilty of murder for preventing rape with a firearm. That when provoked by people they did not shoot and Rittenhouse chose to re-enter the crowd after it passed him by. I'm sorry did the prosecutor just make Kyle Rittenhouses case for him. It like he took notes from the defense in his opening statement.
Yea pretty wild. Definitely self defense in all cases from what I saw from the videos imo

@Lawman I strongly disagree buddy 😌
@Lawman That's true, but when someone is in reasonable fear of imminent death or great bodily harm, it gives them the right to shoot. Each and every one of the people shot were a deadly threat to Kyle. They tried to grab his gun from him, beat him over the head, and even tried to shoot him.
@@hajsh67 well said ✊🏻 I totally agree!
@Lawman it does when they are foolish to attack a 17 year old with a gun and it is obviously self defense.
Binger did his job so good!
Binger is defense right?
If Kyle isn't proven of self defense even thought the prosecutor literally made part of his opening statement that supports self defense, then all hope is lost. if a woman uses a firearm to protect herself when she reasonably believes she will be raped and she was the only one who killed someone in self defense she will now be guilty of murder for preventing rape with a firearm. It's horrific their are people who expect people to be attacked and just take it and not defend themselves. I doubt they would support my original point so where is the standard? If it's a male?
The prosecutor showed that armed people who were not on the side of the crowd were not in fear of their lives and did not need to shoot. That when provoked by people they did not shoot and Rittenhouse chose to re-enter the crowd after it passed him by. You watch the prosecution put on evidence shows that Rittenhouse had no use of force training was not a professional and had no basis of making a reasonable determination of when he needed to use deadly force and did not do so.
@@Davionious According to the judge in this very video, Rittenhouse had the right to self defense if he felt threatened. Watch around the 1 hour mark.

Not good to not be looking at the judge when you’re speaking to him.
Seems like from your comments that eye contact is very important to you. I understand that it seems like it means something to a lot of people. I don't know if I'm slightly autistic or just weird but eye contact is very difficult for me. I can do it if I force myself but it is awkward and unnatural. I feel like I'm being phony not genuine if I stare back at someone but I do it anyway because I know it's important to a lot of people. I've been judged a lot for not making so called eye contact. People think they got you all figured out because you don't share their desire to participate in staring contests with them in order to appear sincere. I'm not trying to be critical here but I just wanted to offer my perspective as someone who hates eye contact. I don't like to give it and honestly I don't like people staring at me. I know you call it contact but I feel like it's intrusive. Thankfully most of the time I don't know if people are looking at me because I'm not looking at them to know.
