Thanks Matt, it was fun chatting with you about downwind sails and I hope it helps some sailors to understand them a bit more.
Yes, thanks for the Collab! 🙌
Excited to hear you've got your downwind sail. You will probably be putting that on your " one of the best investments" list. I use my code zero as much, if not more than my Genoa. Nothing like cruising at near wind speed!
Probably so! We're slowly growing our confidence with it. Can't wait to be able to sail in the teens!!!
Thanks for a great discussion. I appreciate knowing the difference (or not difference) between asym, gennakers, and screechers.
Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed the Spinnaker talk 👍
interesting conversation on how to use and setup
Thanks, Jerome, glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, that's a gorgeous sail
Thx! 🤩⛵
Here's what I love about the Fosters. They're thorough and they take their time expanding their sailing toolkit with the patience of a true sailor. I like the bikini sailing channels, but nothing compares to the content on this sailing channel/travel channel!! Keep it up 🙌
🤣 alright!! 🙌
Congrats on your new sail! Looks pretty
🎉thx, I think so too! @PrecisionSailLoftVictoria did a great job on the sail and the color!
Ohh, I love the color. A full video is coming soon showing how you fly it?
Thank You so much, I learned something today! 😀😁
You are so welcome!
Another great one guys!! 🙌
This videos helping me a lot as I think about purchasing my own spinnaker. Tha ks for putting it together
Liked! Stay safe,have fun!
Thanks, you too!
Solid video and helpful information from Precision Sails
Thanks 👍
keep making great videos!
Great video :)
Nice!
hi! I love your channel :D
Thanks- that is a pretty sail. What weight is it? I am surprised the sailmaker did not even talk about nylon cloth weights, eg 0.75, 1.5 oz etc.
Thanks. The asymmetrical spinnaker is a Nylite 90 0.75oz (Contender). In other talks, we talked about wind angles and wind speeds I want to sail in. Then @PrecisionSailLoftVictoria recommended the sail cloth options. They were real helpful like that for newer sailors like us.
What's the reason for no furler on your asymmetrical Spinnaker?
We don't have space on our bow for a furler, at least not without additional modifications.
