Nice video, as always! Thx Rex! Just one thing you didn't mention, and many people doesn't know it... Brave Browser has it's own MetaMask built-in. No need to install the MM extension. Just simply go to the Brave menu and click "Crypto Wallets" and we have MetaMask inside. All the features are the same, except that with the extension we can access all from the drop-down menu, and with Brave Crypto Wallets, it opens on a full browser page.

Importing ledger nano s in metamask and like to know the difference between connecting metamask to ledger nano s and importing ledger nano s as a whole in metamask. If i do have coin in metamask than do I need to connect to ledger and transfer one by one or can I import all ledger nano s in metamask. crazy man, everyone is looking for some APY. I've been reading metamask's reviews, they are scary. I did some research and so far ledger doesn't have this token available to store. So you would have to keep it in the metamask wallet. But as I said, metamask seems risky.
Question: How were you able to buy ETH and immediately transfer out of Coinbase? Isn’t their usually a 5-day waiting period before you can withdraw coins (since Coinbase needs to clear transaction first before allowing withdraw)?
hey rex, if you are only going to use the ledger only, you can skip saving the seed phrase cause its not the same as the ledger just a bridge to get to the ledger.. so if you loose the metamask seed phrase as long as you keep all your coins on ledger just make a new metamask wallet... also dont need any eth on metamask if you log on under your ledger, as long as ledger has the eth :)

I want to use metamask to buy alt coins on Uniswap and understand i first need to send ERC20 token to metamask to do this. I transferred some fiat (in the UK so was GBP) to my Bianance account, which i was advised to change to BUSD, which i've done. Is this correct? Let's start with the standard thank you for ongoing excellence in teaching. Regarding your reply confirming that you can open MM in Chrome and a different one in Brave, can they be imported from different devices such that one controls all? Not sure if I explained that well. Also, is the comment regarding connecting the Ledger accurate in terms of actually maintaining access with a Ledger even if the seed phrase to MM was lost?
You can use the same seed phrase to restore to multiple copies of MetaMask making them all effectively mirror images of each other. (add funds to one, you automatically add funds to all of them) or you can make them separate, each with their own seed. It is up to you. If you connect the ledger, it uses the the Ethereum wallet of the ledger device (the seed phrase is the 24 word recovery phrase of the ledger device) You cannot "recover" a lost metamask seed by using a ledger device. It would be a separate wallet form the one you lost.

OK so I created a MetaMask account and bought 0.05 ETH to test it out. I then tried to swap .03 ETH for GEN and it told me I needed .0.06 more ETH to make the swap, plus the fee was like $145. Similar swap tokens were the same ratios. Why is the maximum so high and the transaction fees are way too much. I opened the account b/c 3 the cryptos I am interested in are on the swap list, but the fees make it way too much to be practical? Am I doing something wrong ? Gary

Very nice vid. Where I'm confused is swapping ETH for a coin I've added, like BNB. Coin symbol shows as added in both ETH main net and Binance Network, which I added as well. I can only swap from ETH Mainnet but drop down menu on swap doesn't show BNB. Do I need to add BNB as a custom token in order to be able to see it on the swap menu? Pre-sale I want to do will only accept payment from BSC network, which is already added to Metamask. Help!

I want to transfer some etherium into my metamask wallet. I watched your video on doing this from the coinbase pro app so as to avoid network fees. My etherium was purchased on coinbase and then transferred over to the coinbase wallet. Can I do the transfer using coinbase pro. When I try to do it just as you did in your video, I found that I am not given the option to transfer the etherium from the coinbase wallet. Perhaps this method of using coinbase pro is not available when the etherium resides in the coinbase wallet? How can I get the etherium from coinbase wallet into metamask wallet?

Good point. You can actually use both separately. But I think the built in one is more natural than using the extension.

I keep getting error that the address I entered is not a valid ERC20 withdrawal address when trying to move my ETH from Binance or AnchorUSD.
If I import my private keys from another wallet to Metamask, will the ER-20 tokens from the other wallet follow the ETH to the Metamask wallet?

Seems like they all need to hold your deposit for 7-10 days prior to showing it in your wallet. This has really slowed down the process. Any advice???
