this is the best PA video I've watched - thank you! you've really helped me decide what my next steps are before applying. I hope you're enjoying your time at USC!
Thank you for great video. USC is also one of my dream schools so congratulations on your acceptance. May I please ask what gre score you got? It is kind of hard to find statistics on gre score as it became optional.
ooo goodluck!! I honestly don’t remember, I think I was like avg or a bit above avg! I think if u watch my “how I got into pa school” it should have all my stats!
I was just dipping my toes into what's required to get into PA-S and this video was very informative and cleared many things up for me! Thank you. Cheers from the Netherlands.
Aww I was in the same position! I took Spanish while applying to PA school(actually just finished like 2 days ago haha)! I don’t think it was that difficult to handle! I would say it’s definitely worth it because I have heard from alumni that usc is SUPER supportive of their students but I guess I’ll see soon haha! ☺️
@@catpa-s3387 Yeah I'll look into more! Could you also PM me about your experience applying to GW and Stanford? GW is the only school near me that I plan on apply to!
@@brandonphamm I have another video that I goes over my stats/where I was offer interviewed etc. that might be helpful. I’ll attach the link below. ☺️ But I received an interview invite to GW & was interview waitlisted to Stanford. GW was MMI style interview. I thought the questions were fair. I really liked the current staff/profs but there were other parts I didn’t connect with as much USC. There were some issues with the interview process/wasn’t as organized as other interviews I had, but that’s probably just because everything was online because of covid. For PCH/HCE I was a CNA, Cope health scholar, & PTA. I also went on a few medical missions to Honduras & Mexico. Hope this helps! ☺️ Link to video: ruclips.net/video/BG5PudVKYj0/видео.html
yay I am glad it was informative!! I majored in bio & for PCE I did a few things like COPE health scholar, medical missions to Mexico & Honduras, but the main ones were PT aide & CNA! ☺️
As I was looking at admission prerequisites I noticed that one stated “All science courses MUST be intended for science majors ONLY (NOT nursing, allied health, kinesiology, exercise science, or health science majors)” Could you please further explain what this means? Thank you.
Some schools have designated biology/chem/etc. courses for nurses or other allied health professions and they are not considered equivalent to the bio/chem course that a bio/chem etc. major must take as a major requirement. In addition to this, some programs may have a list that states what courses are considered equivalent/meet the requirement on their website or you can reach out to the program and ask if they can check if the course you took will meet the requirement. Hopes this helps!! 😊
Hi! I have always been interested in being a PA and one thing that now makes me more interested is that Physics isn’t a required class (I HATE physics). Did you take physics and if yes, do you think it gave you an upper hand in PA school?
hahah no worries I didn’t like physics either! so I am just starting my classes today(last week was orientation) so I am not 100% sure but from what I have heard we don’t really use physics! Also a lot of my classmates didn’t major in STEM so they didn’t need to take physics so I think you will be good with out ☺️ You can def message me in like a month or two ask again & I’ll let you know after I experience a little bit more of pa school!!💛
@@estherduran6918 I just finished my last semester with a 2.94 as well. You're not alone!! I'm definitely going to try my hardest to raise it over the next few years, but don't lose hope. We got this!
Super informative, I’m currently a sophomore at USC and want to attend for PA school too. Would you mind if I shoot you an email? I have additional questions :)
Hi!! So I don’t have an email for this RUclips but don’t hesitate to ask me questions via the comments! I am sorry if I am slow at responding school is kinda hectic haha

Wow Netherlands, I’ve never been!
So helpful !!!! Also wow you’re so pretty 😍
I’m gonna share this with my friend!! They’re trying to enter PA school as well!!! This was so helpful! Thank you ☺️
v informative video! and omg i didn't know that some schools gave out interviews solely based on gpa!! that's kinda crazy...
I know definitely don’t like that method! I feel like you would loose a lot of great candidates!
Wow! Great Video!
You make this process streamlined with this video ❤️❤️
That was very informative.
I’m interested in applying to USC but the Spanish requirement is really deterring me. I haven’t taken a Spanish class since sophomore year of HS 🥲
