Awesome tones man!! You can hear every note clearly. I love the "chugs" man!! I actually anticipate some sort of drop tune chuggy riffs when I see a new video of yours. I too have a Tremonti u.s.a. N love alter bridge. Keep rock'n buddy!!!
Jeff Smiley I love to do the chuggy bits 😎 I’m a weird hybrid of blues rock and metal. The Tremonti guitars are some of the best heavy guitars you can buy in my opinion! Thanks!
Lucas I dropped this same set into my 335 copy and it’s killer!! Exactly what that guitar needed 👍🏽 prefect pickup set, gonna try it in a LP type guitar next 🤔
Just ordered a set, split between replacing the EMGs in either my EC-1000/ESP Viper or putting them in my 335-style guitar. You ever do the LP type? Any thoughts?
I bought a set of these pickups four months ago but have yet to put them into my SE CU24. Initially, I thought I'd ordered the wrong size bridge pickup but upon further inspection, it's the right size. Still, I'm a bit hesitant to take out whats in there now, which is a set of Peacocks by Missing Link. But I need a fatter sound more suited for metal and hard rock, so the Planet Tones will be going in there soon.
Lucas you know as well as I the lead tone did not show the pickups of what they are!! When have you had your mix up high on both reverb and delay for a solo!!! Hahaha!
I have been watching your videos for some time now on Planet tone pickups and I am somewhat intrigued. Great demo showing all tonal possibilities you can get with that guitar. I ended up getting a Full Throttle set, would you recommend the 1978 over the Full Throttle in the neck for a Jackson DK 24 shredder guitar? I want power with clarity and, I like the neck to sound like a beefy classic single col. Keep rocking my friend i love how your channel has progressed over the years, great job.
I think you would probably dig a Full Throttle neck in a 24 fret shredder. I usually go with the 78 Pasadena because of my singlecut, 22 fret guitars where the neck pickup can get muddy really easy :)
Planet Tone makes a 78' Pasadena "Bridge" model which is slightly hotter than the neck model I have in my guitars. I haven't tried it, but I haven't played a Planet Tone pickup I don't like yet!
I haven't tried the neck model. The first set I got had the 78' Pasadena because it was meant for a Les Paul, where the neck pickup can get dark very easy. I'm sure the FT neck sounds great though, every PT pickup I've tried sounds fantastic.
They sound nice, but the bridge is too hot and the neck is too thin for my taste. I checked out their website and the Blues Heritage sounds phenomenal for Gary Moore and Santana tones!
The Full Throttle Bridge is only like 11.6k. For most that is not "too hot" these days. That being said, check out their 57 Classic. Bridge is only about 8.1K and it can do anything.
The guitar started out sounding like a better-than-average Les Paul. Your mods have pushed it over the top, as far as I can tell from the video. Like, any Les Paul owner would be very lucky to get this kind of sound...
Dang man, those pickups have a MASSIVE sound!!!
Jeremy McCant I was totally blown away!

When you switch from bridge to middle on the crunch tone, I nearly wet myself. That's a gorgeous crunch tone. Neck, too.
More tasty tones! Great demo....
Nice demo Lucas! Always great to hear about a new/different pickup company!

Wow... I expected them to be good, but those sound GREAT! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Glad you like them. They sound great!
Kaleb
X Crow I definitely foresee another set of Planet Tones in my future 😎
Lucas Fowler Just let me know and we can do some consulting...👍
They sound very good Lucas! Thanks for the demo, I'm going to order the bridge for my Zach Myers SE hope it'll be a good match for a semi hollow.
I think you'll be quite pleased with it. Please tell them you saw my video!
I like that guitar top bro.
simple, smokey, purrty.

I like this guy! I also like Planet Tone pickups.
WHAT CAN I SAY, JUST KILLER : ) HEY KIDS THIS IS WHAT EXPERIENCE SOUNDS LIKE

Great tone Lucas!
Thanks!
Hey Lucas, sounds good... How would you compare this FThrottle pickup to like a Gibson 498t?
🔥 Great video! 🔥 Thanks for sharing.
The 78 almost sounds like a super-fat single coil. Big fan of that.
Same pickups as the ones in the schecter C-1 exotic?

I have ordered the full throttle, and they are in transit delay. I cant wait for their arrival for my SG.
Has anybody on here installed one?
The pickups sound amazing! What were you playing through?
Through my Line 6 Helix :)
Awesome video Lucas! Can you tell me what your amp and pedal chain, or modeling setup is? Thanks!
That would be my Line 6 Helix plugged directly into my interface, using a Hiwatt and then Marshall Plexi model.
How does the 78 pasadena sound in the bridge position?

Lucas Fowler cool, i ordered the bridge version. But haven’t heard it yet.
I have the sets in 2 Les Pauls & McCarty 594 S2 Singlecut. They sound great!
Do you have full throttle in the neck to show what that sounds like?
Carlos is cool! He is the guy at Planet Tone!
Great playing!
Sweet Jesus! BRING IT ON! :D:D
What's your fav strings?
What does the Full Throttle neck sound like? Is there a reason you didn't go for the set?

I've only ever played this one Greco, but man it makes me want another one.
Hey Lucas 😀👍 is that a les paul 😀
James Dunn it’s a Japanese Greco Les Paul copy from 1977. It’s a killer guitar!
Subed great video!!!
TheWilsonProject thanks so much!
Wow! PUPs at that price point shouldn't sound that good.
To date, Planet Tone is my greatest gear discovery. He makes a custom set of pickups to my specs and they are *incredible*.
