Praveen Sparsh is a trained Mrdangam artist and an Independent Musician, he started learning the Art of Mrdangam playing at the age of 5 from Mrdangam maestro Sri Guruvayur Dorai and he performed his maiden concert at the age of 8. He is the Grandson of Mrdangam Maestro Tanjore Upendran and Great Grandson of Thavil Maestro Valaigaiman Shanmugasundaram Pillai. Praveen is a qualified Electronics and Communication Engineer and he quit his work to pursue music full-time. He is passionate about sound and has worked for a few contemporary and film productions.
