Re: Single player games, while I don't get people playing on their own with the oracles as GM, playing with one player and one GM is great fun. There's no faffing about discussing what to do, so adventures continue at a breakneck pace. Just get a friend, pull a dungeon module off the shelf, make a Scarlet Heroes character at about the upper level of what is recommended for it and go to town.
Just came back to this review where you essentially gave the same rating to one of my favorite games (well, one of the games in my favorite line) and Pathfinder 2E to verify the comments aren't as vitriolic, also that I personally didn't come on here and call you names or wrong in your interpretation just because I disagreed with your overall conclusion. I did think you made fair points, and appreciate your POV. I always get in on KC's kickstarters, where he has offset prints done of sexy smyth-sewn binding, heavy paper stock, and the pictures pop instead of fade like POD printing does. Thanks for the review, Grim.
I'm most interested in a variation on this system via Worlds Without Number, as a Dying Earth type game but I would like to try this game too. I know its kind of a rules mashup of OSR and Traveller with its 2d6 skill system, but I haven't played enough Traveller to really appreciate what that means, I do like perusing the endless amount old Traveller material on my datapad, theres just a tremendous amount of gaming history and lore to enjoy in the old traveller material so then its like should I try to run Traveller or run this? and that basically becomes a moot question when my time and focus get mauled by other real life issues. But what do you think? Run Traveller? Or run SWN?
Fair review. Ive had a lot of success with stars at the table. The GM tools are so good for getting you ready for the session.

I find Crawford's layout such a joy to read. Playing Godbound currently.
I like your reviews. 😊
Thank you! 😊

D20 is awful as a generic system, is obvious when you use other systems that are specialized.
@@beetlejuss I am not sure what you're replying to. I'm not even sure what you're trying to say.

Pundit never ever ever ever uses hyperbole. 😆
The merest thought hadn't even begun to speculate about the slightest possibility of crossing my mind.
