      Literally bullshit ...
Kannada is from .. Sanskrit !?? what a joke !😂
Boss u r saying ... Language ( a dialect and its own script makes a language)
Sanskrit is just a dialect .... It doesn't have its own script...
      Today
Sanskrit wrote by using ....dev nagri...or prakrit or...pali
      Isn't it ...
Except pali these dev nagari or prakrit names are very recently given to them ...
By the way ...us Jain's are aliens or ....foreigners!??are they not Indians ..
      Then what about Buddhists...
If not JamesPrincep ...we Indians wouldn't have learnt about ...damma lipi ..pali...have u know anything about this at all!?
      OK..
Let's compare ....scripts at least ...
      Hindi ...to Tamil
      Hindi ..to Kannada ...
(Is there any comparison between Hindi and Kannada
      Both are different entirely)
Let's check which script is copied from which...
      First letter of
      Hindi ...a'
Tamil ...a' ...are exact same copy..
      Ma'
      Ka'
      Cha'
      Ta'
....ya'.... Many more letters of Tamil is exact copy of Hindi....yes it is (
Modern Hindi ....not even ...old dev nagari or prakrit ...or pali....)
And Hindi ... As the language ..is being in use from 11 th century on wards ...
So your claim ...Kannada is from Hindi .... Falls flat 😂
Use your mobile and compare Hindi and Tamil scripts... 😂😂😂 the truth is .... Available for free..
      Kannada ....has numbers too ..೧೨೩೪೫೬೭೮೯೦
Then please tell us😊 how did they ...copied it and from which source
      😢
Only 😮Kaath pidicha ...payile😮 like u ...just think
      Sanskrit is a complete language...😅

Yes, it's very clear from the terms "Sanskrit"( processed) and "Prakrit"( Natural) . Sanskrit is the first processed/ artificial languages in the world born in the Indus valley ( spoken recordically from atleast 5000 BCE) and Tamizh, one of the oldest Natural/ Prakrit languages on earth, born in Vaiga valley. But if we keep away politics and look at things objectively, we can see from Vaiga valley/ Sangam era records itself, that the Indus, Ganga other Himalayan rivers and valleys were sacred even for the Sangam era Tamizhians and not vice -versa. Definitely Indus civilization is much older due to locational/ geographical advantages. However, when due to geographical disadvantages, the Himalayan plains had to succumb to Islamic invasions, it was Tamizhakam and ofcourse Marathas who kept the civilizational flag flapping high ❤

In terms of historically attested languages, Sumerian and Akkadian have records that are much older than Tamil. Egyptian records are date back to to about 2,690 BC, which is much older by about 2,000 years than any historical evidence for Tamil. Egyptian still survives as the liturgical language of the Coptic Church.

@@kanagarajanramaiyan6036 This divide of Dravidians as different community and Brahmins as Aryan oppressors came only 30 years ago. Non Brahmin upper castes wanted to enjoy political power and use up all the reservations meant actually for Dalits.
Thus Dravidian parties like DK, DMK, ADMK rose. DK believed in the myth of Aryan invasion theory completely and viewed Brahmins as aliens. They rejected Sanskrit, destroyed Kamaba Ramayana, wrote mystery books like seethayanam, raavanayam. They looked upon Ravan as hero and a good man who got a bad name. They removed all letters that went under the title ‘ … vada mozhi. Vada mozhi means North language. Ancient Tamils were not like this, not so narrow. They loved Sanskrit and incorporated it. Tamilians existed with full awareness that Sanskrit was to exist permanently there in Tamilnadu so that tamil words can be pronounced correctly. Without Samskrit knowledge tamil alphabet will be as chaotic as English alphabet with nonsensical pronunciation. That is the indelible truth. Our narrow attitude should go.
Even in ancient Tamil sound system, there is a string of letters in vada Mozhi. It was not viewed with disdain. It existed to facilitate communication.! This vadamozhi usages were later treated with contempt and was actually removed in 1960s when The DMK came to power Instated of ‘J’ they use ‘cha’ everywhere and tell us that ‘J’ is vadamozhi and ‘should not’ be used. So it is ‘chanavary’ instead of ‘January ‘. This farce has been going on ever since people like Periyar and Karunanidhi have been politicising words called Dravidian culture.
Let us realise that Tamil is incomplete without Sanskrit. Words are getting mispronunced and modern generation is incapable of pronouncing properly. it is bigotry on the part of Tamilians to reject Sanskrit . Those who do so have been schooled wrongly by pseudo linguistits. Genuine Tamil Linguists must count it a duty to revive vada mozhi again in all public usages, press and gazette releases.
Our origins are no different from other Indians. Any punjabi or Gujarathi or Meghalayan who looks shining and fair will find that his grandchildren as dark as soot after settling in Tamil Nadu. Children raised here suffer the tropical climate and get dark and physical characteristics change when they start eating rice and idli dosa, the favourite delicacies that suit south climate and palate.
Actually as per Veda shastras and upanishad All Indians are / were Aryans. Tamil was an invention because Sanskrit had gone on to get too difficult for common man. So many dialects or local languages has sprung, distorting original Sanskrit word meanings. Therefore Ancient (Aryans) Indians wanted to have a new language for the forest area, in South India . Earlier it was inhabited by demons and Asuras like Soorapadman and Ravana. Soora was destroyed by Muruga and Ravana was politely asked to leave by sage Agastya. In good time south India was taken from Rakshsas by Aryans / synonym then for Hindu. Thus it came to be civilised. Until then it was a mere forest. that was bounded by demons and rakshsas like Ravan., Agastya not only drove out Ravan to Lanka but set out to develop Tamil civilisation under the guidance of lord Murugan. Sage Agastya created a new language , Tamil that would protect the fundamental concepts of Aryan darma and Neeti. . It is a fact that they named the Tamil language as Dravida mozhi, added a string of essential ssnskrit sounds to it, mentioned a sloka where the standard formula is mentioned on what will happen to Sanskrit sounds in Tamil transliteration. Everything is present in Tamil. The caste. System, power of kings, yagnas and pujas, is there intact.
However the Language of prayer, language to talk to Gods was to be Sanskrit only. Today Lot of prayers may be in Tamil. So are they in Marathi, Bengali or Hindi. God can talk in any language , I agree. But in surreal templates Gods like Indra, Brihaspati, Varuna talk to each other in Sanskrit. It is Om greem, Kaleem sort of language that will be more effective in Devi worship. People are not fools in promoting what is not useful for milllion of years mEveryone knows that Hindu society can’t do without Sanskrit. From welcoming the new horns into the world, from conducting marriage and saying bye to the dead, Tamilians depend on Brahmin priests. Like any Aryan , marriages are happening before Agni deva, the epitome of purity. All Aryans conduct grahapravessm in Sanskrit and I vouch that it includes Tamilians.
Only insane Dravidian loyalists employ some one to translate every marriage mantra to Tamil and pretend they got married in Tamil. It is all translated stuff and nothing more.
The moment you view Indian society as one complete single entity things will settle. There was no invasion of foreigners before the turks came in 1015. Local kings confronted and conquered each other. Nobody viewed as outsider came. Once you stop believing in AIT theory , you will stop flooding Quora with meaningless questions.

What a foul debate there can't be any Oldest which is still known. "Tamil is the Oldest Living Language" i repeat "Oldest Living Language". Not 🚫 the Oldest ever. Whereas, Sankrit is the oldest systematic language. The oldest form of languages were Only 2 { Proto Prakrit & Proto Dravidian } and believed to siblings. But, with time both of them developed in different geography. Which contributes in development of Alphabets. North was using tree barks leading to lots of Straight lines meanwhile, South was using leafs especially banana leafs hence, end up having a lot of curves as straight lines tear leaf. There is a Popular saying that a historian is driven by his agenda & Fantasies whereas, archeology is based upon Facts & truth. The earlier historians who made up all this were seems to have Fantasies & Conspiracy theorists hence, started all this bull shit as, they wanted public attention & get funds. Sanskrit originated in the region that is now Syria and later developed in the Indian subcontinent, which is why linguists classify it as an Indo-Aryan language. Around 5000 years ago, the entire Indian population spoke Tamil, and the dark-skinned Tamilians lived peacefully from the Indus Valley to Kanyakumari. The Indus Valley and the Tamil Nadu Keezhadi excavations have revealed cultural and linguistic connections to today’s Tamil Nadu and the Indus Valley. Linguists were astonished to find that the Tamil Brahmi script bears a striking resemblance to the language of the Indus Valley. A Dravidian family language still exists in the Sindh region and has evolved over time in the Indian region. This is another reason linguists refer to it as an Indo-Aryan language. Five thousand years ago, all Indians spoke Tamil, and the dark-skinned Tamilians inhabited the Indus Valley to Kanyakumari in harmony. The Indus Valley and the Tamil Nadu Keezhadi excavations demonstrate the cultural and linguistic ties between today’s Tamil Nadu and the Indus Valley. The similarity of the Tamil Brahmi script to the Indus Valley language has surprised linguists. It is evident that a Dravidian family language is still present in the Sindh region. Tamil was born and evolved in India before 25,000 years ago, whereas Sanskrit was born in Syria and evolved in India just before 4500 years onwards. Tamils are the true natives of India; Aryans arrived in India before the Mughals.

Do u know the first Tamil sangam is sleeping under Bengal ocean in Poombukar (more than 10000 years old)? Do you know the age of Tholkappiyam(a grammar literature dated back to 5000years)? When Aryans(Yes. Diaspora!)were communicating in sign language, Tamils were running Tamil Sangams (Universities) in south.

Not exactly same and too similar to deny any connections. So the hypothesis goes it might be the second settlement of Indus valley civilization or there was trade between these two civilizations which will mean they both existed around the same time. There is a documentary called Thamizhi where archaeologists and linguists working in Keezhadi talk about all the findings. They are legit so can cross check if you want.

If a language is spoken by elite group and not by common man then it is not peoples language, Sanskrit was created for a specific purpose to discuss the secrets within elite groups and to chat the mantras which common was not allowed to learn. Later they mixed it with local languages and created new languages to divide and rule the people, this is the reason India has so many languages. Now the same elite group is trying to unite us by imposing one language Hindi.😂😂😂😂

I believe that Kannada and Telugu do not originate directly from Sanskrit, but rather all the so-called Dravidian languages share a common ancestor. All four Dravidian languages exhibit numerous similarities in their vocabulary. However, Telugu and Kannada have incorporated some words from Sanskrit or Hindi due to their exposure to non-Dravidian speaking regions. There are greater resemblances among Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam than between Kannada and Telugu with Sanskrit and Hindi. Consequently, all Dravidian languages share many common features, with Kannada and Tamil exhibiting closer similarities, and Kannada and Telugu sharing more pronounced resemblances.

It's a basic fact of science known to all linguists for centuries that Dravidian languages like Kannada and Telugu do NOT originate from Sanskrit, so your belief is not only correct but trivial. There are around 50 Dravidian languages, not just the 4 big ones. All 4 of the big ones have mixed heavily with Indo-Aryan (Sanskirt, Hindi, etc) languages. The phylogeny of Dravidian is a heavily studied topic and you can find lots of information about it if you make any effort at all. For example, there's been a consensus for a long time that Kannada and Tamil are closer to each other than to Telugu.

I liked this video and I appreciated even more the overall theme of the comments from various people which emphasize that the age of a language should not be the main focus of the discussion. It's important to acknowledge that determining the age of a language is challenging due to the lack of available records and artifacts that have been lost to history. Even historians usually state that a language is "one of the oldest" rather than conclusively determining a precise age, as new discoveries can change our understanding of the timeline. It's essential to keep an open mind because what we consider true today can change with a new discovery of artifacts in the future.
Additionally, the preservation of records and artifacts is a crucial factor in determining the age of a language. The north of India has been subject to invasions and settlements from neighboring areas for many millennia, leading to the loss of records and artifacts. In contrast, the south has been relatively more stable, which may have contributed to better preservation of records and artifacts.
It's worth noting that an older version of Sanskrit existed before the grammarian Panini, and it was likely spoken by the educated class rather than the common people. This highlights the importance of considering the historical and social context in which a language develops.
We need to acknowledge the limitations of our knowledge due to the lack of available records and artifacts. Ultimately, the age of a language is not as important as appreciating the literature and grammar of every language.

The white skinned invaders who are now so called Aryans were nomads and were rearing cattles for their livelihood.
They entered into the Indian continent, which was the land of native Tamili speaking people.
On reaching the Indian subcontinent and looking at the wealth and natural resources here they planned to settle down.
Taking advantage of their white skin they proclaimed themselves as superiors because the native people of Indian subcontinent at that time were dark due to extreme heat.
Then taking advantage of their white skin these nomads wanted to rule over this land which was wealthy with rich culture, rich agriculture, rich science and architect and the people were happily living and were well civilized than them.
The invaders with great motive had at first created caste system and divided the native people and further divided them into people of different languages by slowly introducing their dialects into Tamil and finaly they suceeded in dividing the native people further into many different language speakers.
Today's Telugu, kannada, malayalam and many other languages in India are nothing but the old Tamil adulterated with so called holly basha Sanskrit.
This is the history that every Indian now would agree.

Of Tamil and Malayalam and everything in between:
Govindankutty convincingly demonstrates how Malayalam language preserves certain archaic features that are not found even in Sangam era Tamil. Govindankutty (1972), “From Proto-Tamil-Malayalam to West Coast Dialects”, Leiden University, Indo-Iranian Journal, March 1972, Volume 14, Issue 1-2, pp 52-60
Govindankutty’s analysis remains uncontested even after 45 years, it received many citations and international recognition, it established the credentials of Malayalam as an independent Dravidian language.
“There has been a tendency among historical linguists to think of Malayalam as having diverged directly from Tamil (the Tamil is spoken from the ancient times in what is today Kerala), perhaps as late as the thirteenth century. But this view is almost certainly wrong. Tamil and Malayalam must have separated from one another at a much earlier stage perhaps around the first millennium AD, as we can see from the several archaic features of Malayalam.". We speak a dialect of Telugu which has zero traces of Sanskrit FYI and there are kannadiga friends of mine from Bengaluru and Chithradurga who speak hardly any sanskrit words. Even for Namaskara and Dhanyavadhagalu they are using the original Kannada words and not these adulterated words. These are not loanwords either! They were just mixed into it by those Jains and Brahmins who influxed in. Loanwords are something without which a language can't function. Like most of the Indo-aryan (Indo-European) languages. 🙌
