Ain't gonna play this route since I got my fill with already doing 3 routes for this game, but I have to say that it's nice to give an actual fight against agsore. Even as someone who never had issues with neutral original ending, I can absolutely get why it's way more disappointing for you to only be able to fight him in an endless battle in flawed pacifist. I think it also helps show bits of what we know of him from the original game, with that self-hate he has for what he has done and understanding that Clover is justified in wanting to seek some justice, or in the mercy route, simply wanting to live a peaceful life.
But because of how he isn't as broken as he was in UT, he doesn't have that bit of mercy in his heart. He still feels that he *has* to kill them, no matter how much regret he has knowing that Clover's path to their own demise came from that single decision to kill any human that came to the underground.

I *wish* flawed pacifist was like this. Although the continuous attacks sequence was cool, it feels kind of like a copout. Yes, we're told Clover is weak, however this would've been the perfect opportunity to SHOW how weak they are compared to a lv1 Frisk.
frisk when it receives a bigshot from lv20 clover: *not a flinch*
He is not weak, Asgore holds back in the battle against Frisk, which he does not do with Clover.
In fact, I would say that Clover is stronger, but less determined than Frisk, since he can develop skills like the dash, the justice blast and raise his level without needing XP, the only reason why he couldn't pass the main area of the Underground is because it is also more hostile. When we play with Frisk there are no ice spikes coming out of the ground or lasers that are impossible to avoid.
In short
Clover = More powerful
Frisk= More determined
@@tarinsherper9230 What about canon stats in ut!yellow and canon stats in undertale? Base Undyne is stronger than Zenith Martlet and 1LV Frisk is still able to defeat her first try, when Clover struggles even with best equipment on 19LV and with shooting/dodging ability.
@@tealover2871 Keep in mind that UT's stats are not always so reliable, Asrield Dremurr should annihilate Frisk in one hit and yet I think it does about 4 or 5 damage if I remember correctly.
I think a better example of the strength comparison between Clover and Frisk is the only monster the two of them faced, Asgore.
Frisk took Asgore by surprise, so it was easy to kill him, while Clover faced a totally guarded and serious Asgore whom he evaporated.
@@tarinsherper9230 I didn't say that they're accurate or not, I said that those are "canon stats". Why would narrator in undertale and narrator in ut! yellow give you accurate information in one game and completely inaccurate in other one, undertale yellow doesn't follow the "narrator Chara" theory so it's not like narrator has any reason to lie to us. Also, didn't Undyne kill Clover with one good aimed throwen spear when in undertale the same spear deals like 4 damage?

@@mhvmhv nutral was never cannon it ends in a reset and eaven if it was it is anticlimatic but it'be cool if you could defeat asgore fast or spare him and live in the underground
So, it effectively just becomes a slower version of the flawed pacifist ending.

@@TheRedGoku something I wanted from Undertale Yellow since the demo was the inevitable battle with Asgore. You should know the whole game that Clover can’t beat him, their fates already sealed, but I wanted to feel like it was possible only to have reality kick in and remind me of the inevitable. My Ideal battle with Asgore would be one where it seems possible to win, where you can try as hard as you can and use all your healing items but in the end it’s futile as Asgore slowly whittles you down bringing you to your weakest moment just to finally end it just like you always knew he was going to
@funny250wall huh,so you did wanted a more longer fight that made asgore weak you step by step instead of reaching a certain amount of hp and then instakill clover or sm?
@@funny250wall there was an animation like that on youtube Asgore dodged the whole fight and the attacks got progressively harder untill clover finally landed a shot to Asgores shoulder making him lose balance due to his injury and stops him from dodging Asgore however burns clovers ammo turning the wild revolver into the empty gun after clover does another hit Asgore gets angry

clover is no different than frisk. Asgore is way more harsh against clover since they still need 2 more souls
if it flawed pacefist coul you make the soul not go in the container and refuse and for lv 10 and above rebild the fight and spare button

Yes you can. Going to asgore is an alternate way but you can still go back with marlet for the fight with flowey.
